Goin into my first grow feeling optimistic, i used the paper towel method mostly because its the only method i have seen or heard of over the years. it seems to have a good success rate and i enjoy seeing the beginning of what will be a massive(hopefully) potent bush of ganja.
As my first grow, I wanted to monitor as much as possible and not do much if any defoliation or LST. I started with only ph balanced water for the first few weeks of life and then slowly started my feeding schedule. When I first started researching, it was easy to find guides for feeding and watering, but I couldn’t find any that were specific enough to my liking so I just picked the closest and adjusted/reduced nutrients.
* growing fast
* watering when dry
*Added oscillating fan and Adjusted ventilation
*added humidifier at passive intake for better humidity
*Leaves look colorful no signs of stress or deficiencies
more trichome and bud production everywhere i look. This is my second plant(first grow) and i am super excited for the end results of this plant. its smell is unreal
just did a quick tuck and hang branches with bigger bud sites to get better air flow and light penetration as well as defoliating the lower small sights slowly over a few days. Each branch is getting heavier with more the buds starting to plump
Nearing the end of this plants growth, I was somewhat busy and wasn’t as tentative to that plant as I normally will be. I did however tuck and hang branches with bigger bud sites to get better air flow and light penetration as well as defoliating the lower small sights slowly over a few days. Each branch is extremely heavy and packed with trichome covered buds.
I really got everything for a great deal, I got a few seedsman autos for free so I have an idea of what I am growing as far as strains, but I do not know which strain is which plant.
Stems compared to plant 1 look much better, more sturdy/solid, CO2 supplementation was added in last few weeks of plants life cycle, but compared to plant 1 which had signs of C02 deficiency with a small hollow hole going thru the center of the main stems, this does not appear to have happened to plant 2.
this is my first real grow and i am very happy with the outcome. I did go into this venture like all others I do, full throttle, extreme ADHD and researching/learning to the point its possibly overkill, but its not :) I love growing and am now extremely hooked! I smoke for medical reasons as well as just being in love with the plant from an earlyish age. also, I am not active on any forums/ or community type websites such as this/ and I am extremely happy I found this sight, because otherwise I wouldn’t be typing this while relaxing after harvest. in the very short time I have been on here, everyone is extremely kind/helpful and just seem like awesome people! I look forward to adding more diaries and learning more from all of you!
After a year or more of research I felt ready and confident that I would be able to grow something even the pickiest of smokers (like myself) would salivate over.
But I never thought that would be possible before, I had this idea that no matter what, your first grow will be trash, unsmokable, grass cuttings.
I am beyond happy to find out that this is not the case whatsoever, given that you’re taking the correct steps.
This is plant #2 of 2 from my first grow, it is extremely pungent, and skunky, caked in trichomes everywhere. The wet weight when chopped down was 553 grams. I am on day 9 of drying, with a few branches already being cured. The smell is insane and trichomes are covering everything
* I started this grow with 2 @seedsmanseeds autoflower seeds. After a year or more of research I felt ready and confident that I would be able to grow something even the pickiest of smokers (like myself) would salivate over.
