Day 2: started to show peeping up from under the soil
Day 3: based on the weight, this thing was super dry already. I gave it just a sip of water. He is still bending over but will be sure to rise soon.
Day 4: I have no idea why this thing is going through water so quickly. Gave 1/2 strength calmag + ffgb. He is sitting straight up now but very very very short. Maybe a cm. I was actually shocked when I saw that he hasn't stretched. Early to rise.
Day 5: his other room mates moved into their 3 gal bags. Hopefully he will be ready to move soon. He is about 2-3 weeks behind the rest of the boys shown in the Day 5 picture. The cup looks dry but feels heavy. Before, I would probably water anyways but the new, refined me will be responsible and wait until the plant weighs less :]
Day 23: seemed to have grown over night. Getting very tall and creating a dense canopy quick. not sure what techniques to use so I think I'll leave it alone until pre-flower.
Day 26: starting to stretch a wee bit. Getting thirstier. Leaves were tipping down a little so I think I'll skip watering her today. Switched from 18/6 to 12/12 (I have a normal plant inside the tent that needed to be flipped early to save space). Cut off maybe 3 fan leaves that were at the first node. Showing very few hairs yet but may be pre-flowering. Hard to tell. Looking good, nervous its starting to flower with so few leaves.
Day 28: starting to stretch. Looking tall and lanky now. Bent the main cola down pretty far since there's not too many side branches at all. Hope she fills in. Starting on 12/12 this week due to a photoperiod strain in the tent.
Day 29: pulled main branch down a little more. They say this is a indica dominant strain but this thing is really lanky/tall. Not really filling in at all.
Day 34: seeing pistils. Starting to stretch a bit, hard to tell with the net ontop. Will continue veg nutes for a week or two before switching to Tiger Bloom.
Day 34: feel like this took forever to grow and then over night it flowered.. well ok. Not too many branches, doesn't seem to have a canopy really. Kind of hard to tell under scrog but it's growing like a sativa. Interesting to see how it will do. heard good things about the strain
Day 45: wow! The colors are going to be amazing on this one for sure. Some black leaves going on. Definitely "trippy" hehehe. Low PPMs, upped Tiger Bloom from 2 -> 3 tsp/gal
sticking with AN. ordered their grow line for the veg babies as well. showing crazy results. Def showing some nute burn after feeding at half. Got a ppm meter soon after and was pretty horrified. Feeding at about 1200. I think I flushed 3 gal through her one day with plain tag this week. Had crazy high ppms but brought it down to about 1200.
Torn. Buds were beautiful but were 80% leaves that were a pain to trim. Color is beautiful. Smell is very fruity like a blackberry or something. Yield was terrible. The plant just didn't branch or get big at all before flowering. It flowered after 34 days in veg. I would be willing to grow again if I knew the yield was bigger and it wasn't such a mess to trim. Kinda let down.
Man what a let down. I really thought this plant would be the creme of my crop. Gorgeous black, purple buds though. Just wish there were more. Still excited to taste it. Very unique smell.
