It took about 3 days to push the surface and I had to provide a little assistance to the one on the right. After I moved the piece of peat that was too much for it it sprang right up and has looked great sense. As you can see on day 1 the left one had it's seed pod stuck. I gave it an extra 24 to try and shed it naturally and then assisted it in gently removing it. It came out with a slight discoloration on one of the cotyledons but nothing too bad.
Late night Day 2/Early AM day 3 both had extended their roots out of the pod and were ready for soil. I was doing my best to wait on the hydro store to get Great Lakes Water only back in as I wanted to try that and a natural silica product they recommended but I couldn't wait. Did my own blend of CocoLoco and Perlite at about 80/20 mix and also lined the bottom of the fabric pots with Hydroton clay pebbles for extra stability and aeration at the base. This time around I am using a riser sat inside an overrun tray to hold them. SUPER tight in the 2x2 so hoping drying finishes up in the big tent this weekend.
