She's putting on bulk and getting taller, the stem is also very fat and strong! I started lst this week with bending and tying down and spreading to get a more even canopy. A couple of the lower leaves I took off seemed to be yellowing slightly so I'll be keeping an eye on that moving forward. She looked a bit sad after I did it but bounced back within 24hrs.

Is it safe to remove some of the 5 pointed leaves from the top of the plant to maximise light penetration on the lower vegetation? Thanks Crew, GH

Hi there, IMO, your plant doesn't seem to need any defoliation yet.You can still tucking the fan leaves. Those fan leaves are acted like extra sources of energy for plants.Recommend to defoliate at the start of flowering circle and again at 3rd week of flower or at the end of stretching period.Later that period ,you shouldn’t stress the plant anymore and defoliation at late flower stage could even lead to hermaphrodism.Happy Growing... ✌️

Hi squad 👋 Situation - My auto did not auto flower. I changed the lights to 12/12 - 10 days later flowers 🌸. That was 4 weeks ago. I'm still on 12/12 If I change the lights to 18/6 will that increase yeild or put it back in veg? It's ilgm auto AH seed. Thanks Crew. GH✌️

I would consider it a photo… thus leave it at 12/12 … you’ve been waiting this long I wouldn’t risk it revenging.😀

Hey buddy it looks like your plants maybe getting a little too much Nitrogen with how dark and shiny they look, so I would drop it a tad, other than that great looking grow

@@Grass_hopper, any time pal, I suffer with lockouts alot because I think they need feeding. Just orded myself a Soil PPM reader so it tells me how much food is still in
Grass_hopper
Grass_hoppercommented4 years ago
@Rookie_grows, Thanks legend, you are onto it. I noticed the colour change and a curl on the leaves as well. I checked the ppm on the run off for the first yesterday as I didn't have anything to read it with ( new guy mistake ) 1700 ppm 😬. Ph is on point for soil 6.4. She definitely has nitrogen toxicity. The soil I have is a potting mix & loaded with nutrients. I've been feeding it too so she is way out of balance. I flushed it yesterday 800 ppm now. Hopefully it bounces back. Thanks for saying something mate 👍🏼

Great grow so far man. Gonna follow along with this one 😉 Plants are looking fantastic. The yellowing can be a PH lockout. You're giving all the nutrients in the good amounts so that can't be the problem. Maybe they don't get enough light too because they are the lowest. Would really check the PH very well since u said ur pen isn't spot on. Happy growing buddy 🙏

@Clutch, Cheers mate. I'm having a lot of fun with this eh. Every week is a new challenge. Yeah could be ph, they are due for a feed today so I'll see how she responds.

Looking verry good for a first grow!!! I'm curious why you uploaded photos of your screen !? Did you used a USB microscope or something like that? Use the screenshot function if you can't record images with the camera!

Grass_hoppercommented3 years ago
@PurpleWorship, Cheers mate. Nah its connection thing. Usb microscope to a laptop then a photo of the screen from my phone - laptops real job is runing equipment in my cave - no internet in there to send the photos.

hey i noticed your temps try to bring them down a couple of degrees as you get later into flowering the plants will go into overdrive and fatten n rippen faster the idea behind this is the plant thinks its a little late in the season and boosts its self to ready faster or in the plants thoughts ripen on time
Grass_hopper
Grass_hoppercommented3 years ago
@gazmanuk, hey man thanks for the tip re temp 👌🏼 what range do you recommend day and night? should be pretty easy to adjust. It's starting to show hints of purple in the pistols, I've read lower temps can emphasise that pheno as well.
