Week 1 = 8-3 And were off with a new diary! This time I'm going to doing x2 Criminal+ by Ripper Seeds. I have them in wet paper towels in a zip lock bag. After they open and show their tap roots, they will be put into Root Riots cubes. —————————————————————————— 8-7 They have been in the RR cubes for a few days and just today I put them in their buckets, with tap water, under a couple of 5000k led bulbs. Hydroguard was added just as a precaution and will add Rapid Start once roots are in water —————————————————————————— 8-10 They are now under a 2ft 4 bulb t5. Once the roots hit water, they will get hit with Rapid Start and they will take off. —————————————————————————— 8-16 I checked on them last night, and I had the first signs of some sort of brown slime forming inside the buckets. So, I transplanted them into solo cups with coco. They had just the slightest signs of what is probably root rot from the super high temps of the dwc water. I will see if they survive in the coco or if the rot decides to kill them. Time will tell.

Hopefully they start to pick up speed soon.

8-22 Transplanted to 5/3 gal non woven grow bags from solo cups. I'm not going to lie, transplanting sucks! Next time they go in final container from the get go. Also next time I'm buying the bagged coco instead of the bricks. I'm going to give them a few days to acclimate to their new homes, then I'll put them under the 500 watt MH. I'm also going to up the feed a bit in a few days. I'm also waiting on a few samples of Real Grower's Recharge, to see how that works out. 8-23 They are under the 500watt MH now, one of the plants has some deformed leaves that I thought was due to wrong PH, but I made sure ph was good . I'll wait and see if it continues to grow all wonky or if it grows out of it. 8-25 The normal plant is doing well, I think they are a bit transplant shocked. I still don't know what's wrong with the other one, I'm leaning towards a MG Def. I flushed the pot with ph'ed water @ 5.9, let it drain for 30 minutes, and then gave it a normal feed @ 600-700ppm(.5). Now it just needs to give me some sign its getting better or worse so, I know what to do for her! 8-28 They look like they are powering through the user error. I topped them both a couple days ago, and that didn't slow them that much. So basically I'm going to try to flip these once I see that the auto has started it's journey into flower, we'll see how that works out. 8-30 So far I thought all was going well, but the girl that has been having slight issues, isn't clearing up, and the other one is lookin very light green, almost lime green. I just fed them yesterday, 800-850 ppm, with some Epsom salt again, this time @ 5ml/4l(1tsp/gal). We'll just have to see what happens over the next few days. I don't know if I shoukd just not do anything and wait for them to dry a bit and see how they are then or flush them and then wait til dry and do a full reset. Ughhh 9-1 Fed them both today. They seem to be growing well. The one that had issues, seems to have gotten over the deficiency. I'm hoping to start to train them in the next couple days.

9-3 They are moving right along, no problems to report. Looks like the one with problems has recovered and continues to chug along. Will be starting to tie them up this week. 9-5 They both have been topped and fimmed, kicked up the light to 750 watts to try to get them to stretch a little bit. Moving along nicely I would say. 9-6 Started to tie down the ladies, lowered the lights down to 500 watts to not burn them, and we'll see what happens!!

9-9&9-11 Looking good, healthy, topping and fimming has worked well, and also the lst has given me some more tops. 9-16 These 2 are looking very healthy. They also got a good flush out tonight. I have been trying to use up the performance pack that I bought from General Hydroponics when I first started. I would like to try Jack's hydro feed with calnit for when I do dtw coco.

9-18 I think they look good still, maybe a bit greener then I'd like but still doing well. I've been feeding them @900ppm(1.8ec) @5.8-6.0ph. The training has been working very well, they are getting flat, wide and staying stout. 9-21 These 2 are growing very well. Nice color to them, no tip burn and starting to smell. I think another week or 2 and I will be ready to flower them. 9-23 Today, I made a boo boo, I totally forgot to ph tonight's feeding solution, opps. Tomorrow I will flush with ph'ed water, one to try to flush out my mistake, and two to try and get rid of any salt buildup I might have going on.

9-24 & 9-25 These 2 are doing very well. Nice and healthy, no problems to report yet. They will be getting flipped this weekend (9-30),and hopefully kick starting the auto into flowering, I don't know if that'll work or not but it's worth the try. 9-27 Changed lights to 12/12 on next lights off. Im not going to have time to do it within the next few days so a few days early, might be good anyway cause they will probably fill my space pretty good like they are. 9-30 Changed over to 12/12 on 9-27. These are looking very nice, starting to smell nice and no problems yet. So far I really like growing in Coco. I have found it kind of hard to water them with them being an indica and them being short and wide. Also having to mix up the feed every couple of days kinda is a pain. After this round, I'm going to do my dwc during the cold months and try to do the coco during the warmer months.

10-02 Lights switched to 12/12 on 9-27, I think I'll begin counting down the "flowering time" from first signs of flowers this time. Very healthy looking, no signs of any issues or nute burn. 10-06 Slowly starting to flower and look great. Started feeding Jack's Hydroponic @ 3g/gal and Calnit @2g/gal and Epsom @1g/gal. Hopefully the new nutrients work out well so I can convert to it fully.

10-08 Looking good going into week 2 of flower, some pistils starting to show. I wonder if there is some nutrient out there that will actually hasten the formation of bud sites? 10-10 Still looking great. Feeding at 800-900ppm,ph 6.0-6.2,started giving the girl on the right Massive @5ml/gal to see if it does anything. 10-12 Streching is starting to slow down a bit, which means flower production should kick off soon. 10-14 Nice and healthy, good color, feeding @ 6.2ph,800-900ppm(1.6-1.8ec),a little over 3/4of a gallon(3L) per day, will soon probably be around a gal/day with ~20%-25% run off. I think the next run in Coco I'm going to drop down to 3 gal pots.

10-15 Both are healthy, bud sites coming in well, moving along nicely. Going to continue to feed @ ph6.0, 800-900ppm (1.6-1.8ec) for the duration. 10-17 The smell is starting to get stronger, everyday the buds get noticibly bigger. One of them I believe needs to be flushed, as the run off ph is kinda low(5.4), if I do flush one, I'll flush both of them at the same time to reset every thing. 10-18 Flushed them tonight @ 6.0ph and at about ~200ppm(.2ec). 10-20 Did some defoliation to get some more light deeper into the canopy. Still looking healthy, found a few leaves that showed some deficiency on the lower part of the plant, I'll keep an eye on it, but I think they will be fine.

10-22 Still looking great and healthy. Buds are forming nicely, getting bigger every day. Still feeding @6.0ph,750-800ppm(1.6-1.8ec). Left plant is getting 2.5ml of Liquid Kool Bloom, and the right one 3ml of Massive. Hand watering is a pain in the ass, making up ~4-4.5gal of feed every other day. Maybe next round with coco I'll get an 18gal tote to make up feed for the week, or set up some drip or hydro halos. 10-24 Both girls are looking very good, healthy, and starting to smell very good. They have a sweet smell to them with maybe a touch of Skunk or sour. 10-28 Gonna be going into week 5 of flower and they seem to be going strong still. Grabbed some pics before lights on this week, color looks good, some very minor tip burn most likely from when I started to add Massive and not reduce the base feed to accommodate. They have been stacking up very well up to this point so I'm excited to see how they go from here on out.

10-29 Coming into week 5 and they are coming along great. Feed is still the same @6.1ph, 700-800ppm. 10-31 Things looking good still, maybe seems like a bit too much N maybe, as the leaf tips are starting to point down, so will cut out a bit of calnit to lower the N level. Other than that though smelling great and still looking pretty healthy. 11-02 They are still moving along very nicely. I'm starting to get excited, I can't wait to see how these turn out! All in all I like growing in Coco, especially since I didn't think I was going to like it at all. I want to change a few things for the next time, like setting up a bigger container for the weeks feed, setting up an auto water system to feed 2 or 3 times during lights on.

11-05 Looking great, smelling great, and a putting on the weight like a good girl! I think I'll hit them(or maybe just one) with a light dose of powder Kool Bloom this week to prepare for the full dose the 7th and 8th week of bloom. 11-08 So I believe I messed up 😣😕😔. At some point when I was writing down my recipe for my feedings so I didn't forget, I accidentally wrote the wrong number down for the Jack's Hydro, I put a 16 when it should've been a 12,and I just realized it a few days ago. That would account for the some of the minor issues I've been seeing. I should have seen it sooner! All I can do now is feed them right, and hope it doesn't have any negative effects. 11-11 Going into week 7 of flower and things are great. The 2 girls are coming along nice, smell great and looking through a magnifier are almost done, about a week or so left.

11-12 Trying to coast these girls out to the end, maybe they will swell a bit more. They are already starting to fall over a bit, which is a good sign. 11-14 So this diary is slowly coming to the finish line. Showing signs of some amber trichombs, so they will be cut soon. Flush till the end (even though it doesn't really make sense). This grow overall went good I think, other than the mistake of feeding to much that I should have caught way sooner. This will probably be the final update, other than the harvest entry, and the pics before dry/cure. HOPEFULLY I can get through the dry and come out with a fine smoke! 11-17 I think I underestimated their doneness, I looked at them not under the light and I'm not seeing any amber now😒😔. I'm just going to be patient and continue watching them and what they do. Also, continuing to feed and flush with low ppm feed. 11-19 Still waiting, continuing to feed low strength feed to flush. The smell is strong and they are having a hard time holding themselves up, yoyos can only do so much.

I hope your title is in reference to Eminem. Anyway, great grow. If they are autoflowers, you are better off leaving the lights on and letting them soak in all the sunlight they can. They will flower no matter what based on their ruderalis genetics with an internal clock, they will not respond to your light change by flowering. They will respond by having a very long recovery period though, you’d be better off keeping the lights on. Good luck friend they look huge for autoflowers if that’s what they are. I will also say that nice dark green color will serve you well once flowering starts, nitrogen is still used in flowering and those dark leaves have lots of nutrients stored up for your buds. If anything, the color is fantastic.

@DET__PDX, yes the title is a reference to one of Eminem's songs😁. The 2 biggest plants are photos which are the Criminal+ and the one small guy in the front is the Kush Mass Auto, which is struggling, stunted, or something else. They said KM was supposed to be 45-50days from seed, that's why I started the photos a week ahead to try and get them some size, and when I saw the auto flowering, I was going to drop the lights down to 12 to flower the others. But I can't wait for the auto, if I do, I'll run out of space. I know from past experiences. Lol

@CovikLaFlaire, In the end she was a good plant, if your looking to grow her out just keep a close eye on ph and keep the feed on the lighter side. She wasnt all that disappointing in the end, I ended up pressing most of it and the rosin was decent. Try her out

@CovikLaFlaire, as far as resistance and ease of grow, I'd say she's pretty resistant, but I grew in Coco and have no experience with her in say soil. She was pretty low maintenance and I'd say she's a good one for beginners for sure. And yes, it would help with sleep, it's not a day smoke
