One plant (Plant 2) is jarred for curing, it was the first plant I took down that was ahead in maturity in comparison to the others. It was wet trimmed and mesh basket dried. The other two plants, that should be down and curing by next week, are still currently drying. Plants 1 and 3 are hanger drying on the primary stalk. Update 20 OCT: Plant 3 has now dried sufficiently to jar and start curing it. Added pictures ;) Update 25 OCT: Plant 1 has now been dried and jared. Pictures added.

Need some help identifying a problem I think I am having with my plants. These spots have shown up in all of my plants and have only been on a few leaves, randomly, in the whole grow. Just need some help narrowing down the issue, if anyone has the time. Thanks! Limited text space

Possible Damping off/Fungal Infection? Root death? Could use a little help finding the issue with my lovely lady. Pics are of Under Canopy, the stem issues in question, top canopy.

Any recommendations as to what "time" to move the girls. Got a new tent and didn't know if it would be better to move them during their night cycle or day cycle. Gotta move the whole setup, so they will be without light for some time, but still exposed to ambient. Explain too. xD

Sorry mate, these are stems heavily attacked by rot. No one could do anything. Probably leaves will show symptoms of potassium/nitrogen deficiency. Plant will react anticipating the maturation. The yield is compromised, less bud's quality. Probably all these spots have been caused by heavy roots suffering and/or eenvironment imbalance.

Wow you’ve done well with your Jack Herer. Well yeah you’re turning down the final stretch here and your plant are maybe a little hungry. This yellowing is actually pretty normal. It is the plant’s way of getting the nutrients it needs to make sweet bud. I’ve had the same problem with Jane and it came on a lot sooner than yourself. No need to freak out. Your buds are all in great shape and that’s the prize not fan leaves. Keep on your feeding regiment and set yourself up for a good flush. You’re just around the corner. When you initiate the flush the fan leaves will start to yellow even more and it’s completely normal. Happy grow man 🤙

I believe my plants reaching their prime harvesting point in just a couple days. I was late on my first flush, just two days ago, going to flush on the next day. Question; is it more important to get a full flush (10-14 days) or optimal harvest point in about (5-7) total.

You still got quite a way to go, at least another 2-3 weeks, perhaps more. Start flushing when she has about 90% brown pistils and harvest when there are around 95-98% brown pistils, for prime cannabinoids and peak THC, and with a mind bending head high. If you prefer a more drowsy, couch locking stone, due to degraded THC levels and elevated CBD and CBN levels, start flushimg when there are about 95% brown pistils and harvest when there are 100% brown pistils. I flush for about ten to twelve days, meaning I give just plain water, nothing else for this time. Making sure your plants are at peak maturity should be your prime focus, but having a decent flush is vital for a smooth smoke, so both of these things are of equal importance. It is easy/ok to flush a bit longer, as maturation can be drawn out, but timing the two together is a matter of experience and being able to "read" your plants. If you follow my suggestions regarding pistil colour and harvest timing, you won't be disappointed. I have been judging my harvest according to pistil colour for more than three decades and find it simpler and more reliable than the "trichome colour method" which has many flaws in my opinion, as some plants will never develop amber trichomes and some strains will have 75% amber trichomes after only 4 weeks of flowering, with both situations being not ideal for deciding when to harvest. Remember too, flushing does not involve drowning the bejeezus out of your plants, just give plain water in normal amounts, this is all that is needed. The idea is for the plant to "use up" any residual fertilizer salts in its system, not drown your plants. Hope this helps, Organoman.

Don’t forget to flush those ladies before harvest. Don’t want to put all that work into making sweet bud and having it contaminated with nutrient build up in the plant. I would also consider doing a dark period before giving it the chop. Food for thought. Do bit of research on that and you’ll find it’s beneficial to do. I’m gonna do a 72 hour dark period before the chop but most say 48 hours is more than enough and others will not believe in the dark period and just give her the chop. It essentially tricks the plant into a fight of flight response when the light doesn’t come back on and she gives a last ditch effort at terpene production as a defence system.

Well there’s trade offs. So trichromes are clear still not ready. Trichromes start getting all milky is peak potency. When they start going amber potency drops but flavour ripeness increases. So it’s really a balancing act and what you prefer to harvest. I see it this way. There’s a week and half harvesting window to pull it and there’s really no right or wrong and I accept that my weed will be what it is when I smoke it and nothing is going to change the true outcome. I’m not gonna notice one or two percent of potency changes because I didn’t wait or hurry up by one or two days.

@Papa_T, Awesome! Will do!!! Thanks for the heads up and sweet nugs of info! I was thinking I'll start the flush at the first sign of amber trichomes, as there seems to be no definitive way to find out when she is only a week out from harvest. As far as I can tell she is still all clear on the trichomes.

@Miss_Greenthumbs_Garden, Thank you! I think my problem was that I didn't immediately change my nute mix when she started showing preflower, so there are some chlorotic lower leaves... Her way of yelling at me for not giving her the needed NPK she wanted, hehe. The next weeks pictures should show a big transformation I've been so happy about, so far.
