Hello again growmies! My previous grow was a decent enough success that I've decided to carry on producing my own medication . Today I Planted a Forbidden Runtz seed from @FastBuds. I am extremely excited for this one, I have read all about it and followed quite a few diaries on here which have made me want to run this as my "Main plant" My main restricting factors are space so I am putting this in a Square 10Litre Fabric pot inside my smaller tent on its own. I have another tent with 4 Smaller pots of plants that are a random mix just to include variation to my flavours and different types of medicinal properties. Here is some key info about the strain straight from Fastbuds: An Indica-dominant hybrid that can reach up to 130cm, skillfully selected and bred to offer growers of any level the top-quality traits that made its parents so popular in California; This high yielder can produce up to 550gr/m2 in just under 65 days, making it ideal for those who are looking for high-quality buds in a relatively short amount of time. You can expect a delightful and flavorful blend of aromas that thanks to the impressive 26% THC results in a cerebral high that hits you between the eyes and slowly turns into a strong corporal relaxation Taste Earthy, Fruits, Sweet THC Up to 26% CBD < 1% Harvest EU Indoor 450 – 550 gr/m2 Harvest US Indoor 1.5 – 1.8 oz/ft2 Harvest EU Outdoor 50 – 150 gr/plant Harvest US Outdoor 2 – 5 oz/plant Size XXL Height 90 – 130 cm Height US 35 – 51 inches Flowering 9 weeks Room Indoor/Outdoor Gender Feminized Genes Sativa 35%/Indica 65% Genetics Forbidden Runtz Auto Autoflowering Yes Thank you for having a look at my grow. Hi guys, My Forbidden Runtz seeds has successfully germinated and is now in the seedling stage 🙂 She is showing slightly less growth than the plants in my other diary: https://growdiaries.com/diaries/116130-grow-journal-by-ukpersonal420 But she was also planted a day or two later than them. I have just today (Friday) received my new larger tent that I will be growing this plant and the other autos in. It also means I now have 3 tents but only 2 lights 🙄 So I will be using the larger tent for flowering and the second biggest tent for veg/autos. Just need to get all the timings correct on my next run 🙂 And the smallest tent for drying. Not much to report about the plant this week she has made it past germination and is just settling in now and hopefully creating her root system 🤞

It's very unfortunate so far, she really is acting like the runt of the litter. Every single plant in this room has the exact same growing contidions. She is growing... Very slowly now. It's too bad as out of all the seeds I purchased I was looking forward most to this one. Hopefully she picks up more this upcoming week. I am currently running another diary for the other plants in this tent which are being more interesting at the moment so please feel free to check that out. Peace

Not too much to report on, in the last couple of days she has packed on a small bit of growth but she is still really struggling to grow as you can see compared to the other plants that are just a few days older. This is a shame also because I put her in one of the larger pots that takes up more space. Oh well.... Other than that she looks pretty healthy, some very light leaf curling but mostly just a nice green colour with fat Indica type leaves slowly forming. Not going to give up on yet jut yet because I am really just interested in what the smoke is like.

Hello peoples This week has been far better in terms of growth. I decided to switch to a more organic root as I realised I was already using a good enough soil to do so. So I bought some of living soils organic dry ammendment feeds, and decide to create a mulch using dried up parts of trees and plants in the garden, also any leaves I defoliate go on the soil aswell. Had a small problem with fungus gnats on all the plants and wanted to take action to having some seedlings around. I bought some predator nematode and some yellow sticky pads to help. I have been very happy with this girl so far! She has clearly liked the switch from liquid fertilizer to dry organic 😁👍 Much more growth I believe this will be the last week before she kicks into flower. So I managed to top her on her main stem and did some light defoliation and LST to get the most light to her growth sites. She has a very nice sweet smell emerging which you can get a smell from defoliated parts & stem rub. Looking forward to next week of growth as I will be adding more of the dry ammendments from the living soil range 😁 Thanks for stopping by Peace ✌️😎

This week she has shown some good growth, considering she really was a runt for the first few weeks. Very small pre-flowers have started to emerge today 😎 I have now given her a 50/50 mix of the grow and bloom organic fertilizer along with some worcast and mycoboost. My technique is unusual and completely made up by myself 😂 I think, haven't seen any others much like it? Idea is to try and separate and lower all potential growth (much like any other LST/HST but I've gone about it in a weird and very stoned manner 🤣 I'm hoping it works out... Again it's all still about learning and getting some nice personal medication at the end. Thanks for stopping by Peace ✌️😎

Hey growmies This week has been mostly about LST and making sure I have as much bud sites exposed as I can. Got myself a peony ring from eBay and start to weave and bend stems outwards, and for the first time ever... I didn't break anything lmao 👍😂 Her organic soil is coming to life more now as the vegetation is being composted and the organic dry ammendments are taking effect, she looks real happy all the time and can take some punishment from my clumsy ass hands. I believe that now she really is in the last days of veg, and I think the fact that she was a runt and grow very slowly has enabled my to tune my training method to a good standard before flowering. I will keep doing what I am doing in the early flowering stage but I will also soon after just let her do her thang. She is now starting to give off some nice smells, mostly like forest fruits. These smell are not yet really noticeable until you start moving stems. Very very excited to see her flowering! I've been looking at lots of diaries on here of people growing this same cultivar and can see the potential this plant has 💪 Thanks for stopping by, I really appreciate it! Please feel free to check out my other diaries on here 🙂 Peace ✌️😎

Hello again growmies, hope you are all well and get to enjoy your weekend 🙂 Think I can safely say she has started to flower now! This Forbidden Runtz has again been very happy and healthy this week. Good leaves, plenty of nice growth and node development. I have tried to keep as even a canopy as possible but some stems have overpowered the pins and LST. However I am still very happy with the amount of heads it has produced. Doing all of this plus topping and the fact this seed was a runt/possible mutant is probably the reason for the extended veg period but im not complaining at all considering she is looking like she will be a beautiful plant!! She now is producing a very deep, dark berry smell with a sweet undertone... Very very nice! Put some cover crop seeds and barley mulch on her to help with the water evaporation during this heat plus many other benefits of organic matter ✌️ Thank you for stopping by and having a look, I appreciate it, Alot!! I have other diaries on here too if you want to check them out 😀

Hi growmies! Happy Friday and I hope you all have a lovely weekend 🙂 This week with the Forbidden Runtz from Fast Buds has been great! Got abit of stretch going and also buds already starting to fill up on their stems. To add to this organic grow I added some live composting worms! Very excited about that. She is looking very happy and healthy with noticeable growth every day, she is plenty thirsty now too during this stage of flowering. Luckily the temperatures have settled down a bit this week so the soil isn’t struggling with drying up, Which is also thanks to the mulch and cover crop which have both settled into the pot and are both working like a dream! In fact some of the cover crop is almost getting too tall already 😲 Very very impressed with this plant especially seeing as she was an actual runt/mutant at the beginning. She has still been able to withstand my clumsy hands grown plenty of bud sites and is looking healthy, couldn't ask for more really. Her smell is now beginning to get abit more prominent and especially when leaf tucking and stem rubs 😁 strong smells of dark forest fruits and a lovely sweet creamy vanilla back round it's truly incredible and will only get better from here! Oh and she has started producing more resin and is slightly sticky already. I'm looking forward to what this next week brings that's for sure 👍 Thank you for stopping by, really appreciate the support and getting to talk to some amazing people on here! I have other diaries currently active too so please check those out of you want. I update my diaries every Friday afternoon (UK) Peace ✌️😎

Hi growmies, I hope you all get to have a good weekend 🙂 This has been another week of decent growth. I think she has stopped growing vertical now and she's starting to bulk up. Resin production has kicked in abit more now and she is getting sticky & smelly 👍 Gave the cover crop a much needed haircut lol. I reckon I'm going to be having abit of trouble with temperatures and humidity soon as unfortunately I haven’t been able to afford the proper equipment yet. Few weeks of saving up and hopefully being able to keep on top of it manually is what’s needed for now. If any of you could recommend a good dehumidifier for fairly cheap that would be awesome! 👍 Some slight leaf tip burning which I believe was due to the switch of lights and me not getting the height and dimmer dialled in straight away or maybe a possible deficiency? Let me know what you guys think. The very tips are brown/grey-ish with a small yellow line across the leaf beneath it. Reckon I am due for some popcorn buds because of my "freestyle" LST lol 🙄 Oh well I just got me a Trim Bin for an absolute bargain so they can go on there. I expect her to create some wonderful extractions 😀 Her smell has most definitely increased this week and she is stinky now! Beautiful dark berry, candy & vanilla cookie scent is incredible! Anyway my friends that is it for now. Thank you for stopping by and having a look I do appreciate it! I also have some other diaries going on aswell so please feel free to check those out too if you like 👍 Hope you all have a nice weekend. looking forward to the next week of growth. Peace ✌️😎

Hi growmies I hope you are all well and get to enjoy your weekend. Another good week for this girl 👍 She is fattening up quite abit and getting nice and sticky all over. Gave her a light feed on Monday as I finally got the auto version of the living soil grow & bloom 😀 The burnt tips on a couple of leaves unfortunately are here to stay but other than that she is looking nice and healthy. Plenty of activity going on in the soil. The worms have now settled in and all the cover crop and mulch are definitely doing the job. I will be re-using this soil after this grow as it's had nothing but organic inputs plus I wanna keep the wormies going. She is smelling very very sweet right now. Like putting you nose into a fruity candy bag with a nice smooth bakery smell still running in the background . Definitely smells like a good mix of her two parents but slightly more on the Zkittles side 😎 Next week I expect I will be seeing the buds fattening up even more and some more resin... Although she already has alot 😀 Thank you for stopping by I really do appreciate it. I have other diaries running aswell if you would like to check them out too. Peace my friends ✌️😎

Hey growmies, This week I finally chopped this beautiful plant! She was showing some incredible colours but no more signs of growth. Amber trichomes at around 15-20%. Smell it absolutely incredible, mostly a very sweet dark fruits and bubblegum smell with a nice vanilla background I cannot wait to see after the cure. This seed turned out to be a runt (literally) but I decided to keep her as I really really wanted to grow some Runtz. She certainly has produced the amount a perfect seed would. But I'm still very happy with the buds I do have and cannot wait to have a proper smoke. I will create the harvest page once she's had a couple of weeks in the curing jar so I can give a better account of this cultivar. Thank you for stopping by and having a look at my diary I appreciate it. ✌️👍

Happy Harvest Day!

Despite being an actual runt from the beginning, she has actually provided me with a decent amount of personal smoke that tastes incredible! Very fruity and candy like, i think mine came out as more of a sativa dominant in effect as she does definitely have a mental "boost" for the first half of the stone while the rest (the bit I enjoy) is alot more relaxing. Thankfully the guys at Fast Buds re-sent me another forbidden Runtz seed which I am very much looking forward to growing again soon.

Hi growmies, hope you are all well Despite the smallish harvest, these buds both smell and taste great. I vaped some of the buds before being cured properly out of curiosity and impatience 😂.. but who doesn't right?? Very candy sweet smell and taste with a nice hit of dark fruits! 50/50 stone of Sativa & indica atm. I will return to this diary soon for a more detailed break down plus better after harvest photos once they have cured more 👍 But for now, even though she didn't yield alot which I didn't expect her to after being a runt and also being experimented on with some different techniques I am overall very please with the buds I have 👍 I have another one of these seeds to sprout soon and I really hope I can get more out of that one. For now guys that's it for this diary but I will be coming back to edit it after a decent cure. Thank you growmies you are awesome! Peace ✌️😎

Another great update brother. The leaf tips issue is usually a sign of ph or toxicity to something being dealt with. If it continues up the leaf then the issue is more serious and will need sorting. Once the tips have took a hit the colour never returns so it could be from a previous feed etc.. if it is just the tips. Humidity is our kryptonite in the UK sadly. Been an ongoing battle for decades for me until I got the dehumidifier. It helps with raising the heat in the grow room too. Keep an eye on Facebook marketplace. I got mine for £15 with 2 oil radiators and another heater. They thought the dehumidifier was a basic fan. A common error on selling sites !!. Happy hunting. Could try used on Ebay too. Lots of used equipment that has come from ex growers and auctions too. Worth a look. The girls look damn good too. Golf ball buds cant be a bad sign. Might need a mini lawn mower for that cover crop or a goat too. Lpl keep up the great work mate.will pay dividends very soon.

Now I know to use alot less 😂 Thank you again my friend I'm really looking forward to harvest

but why 18/6 shcedule, eveyone with 20+ has much better grow speed, more yield and much more frostier buds. 24/0 schedule all the way, just look at dafunk420 grower or others who use more light on auto's. it's unethical how fast they grow and buds develop, autos don't need dark, just give them light as much as u can and they'll grow all the time. If they had 6hours more of light everyday, just imagine..
UKPersonal420
UKPersonal420commented3 years ago
@Mandarina, Well spotted. This girl was actually on a 20-4 light schedule. I think it was lowered for a week or two during veg when I had it in the same tent as some photos. Must not of changes it back to 20. Thanks for stopping by growmie 😀👍

Loving it UK. Cover crops are a brilliant method too. Lots of bio life and myco too. So much missed about how important fungi are to the planets plant network communication. I have been considering using ecothrive large beds instead of the pots for a more permanent forest floor type of base. Lots of comms between plants to balance the whole forest. Love your ethos and work mate.
UKPersonal420
UKPersonal420commented3 years ago
@Ganjagrandaddy, Yes I am really liking this method so far! Plenty of microbiology going on in this pot 👍 added live worms now aswell. Yes the beds look really amazing I've been looking at the GrassRoots ones aswell as the eco-thrives but I think that set up will be a couple of runs away.

Wow and wow. You are nailing the training ring and grow. Looks top notch for a great flowering crown . Those rotting leaves need removing really , I run l.o.s too and understand the need for bio life but it is a knife edge using leaf alone as infection can be rapid if catches the stems as the flowers thicken out. Could become a stem infection and also attract gnats ect. Bud rot is very easy to allow in when the buds start getting dense and it always starts deep in the bud at stem level . Different if part of cover breaking down as mulch on the surface I feel. Nice diary entry too. Needs some promotion on here I reckon. Some really useful info . Glad you restocked your equipment ect.. what a great comeback. Be safe brother.

UKPersonal420commented3 years ago
@Ganjagrandaddy, thank you so much for the kind words and the advice my friend I really do appreciate it! Yes they do need going and to be honest you are exactly right that I wanted to raise the bio activity. The leaves really do help I believe when they are still green, especially after a water. I have since ordered some mulch, cover crops a 39 litre grass roots living soil pot (they look amazing) and also some worms from Yorkshire farms 🙂 (money is very tight so I have to save up and buy a few items at a time instead of the whole lot straight away) I have a plan for my next run after this tent is empty to use the 45 litre living soil kit from ecothrive along with the above items plus living soils fertilizers dry ammendments. Only got a slim choice of photos to choose but im saving up money to get a better selection. Thanks man, I don't really have any idea on how to get promotional stuff? Anyway my friend thanks again for stopping by much appreciated I'll be following your diaries closely 👍 Peace ✌️😎
