Hi growmies I hope you are all well and get to enjoy your weekend.
Another good week for this girl π
She is fattening up quite abit and getting nice and sticky all over.
Gave her a light feed on Monday as I finally got the auto version of the living soil grow & bloom π
The burnt tips on a couple of leaves unfortunately are here to stay but other than that she is looking nice and healthy.
Plenty of activity going on in the soil. The worms have now settled in and all the cover crop and mulch are definitely doing the job.
I will be re-using this soil after this grow as it's had nothing but organic inputs plus I wanna keep the wormies going.
She is smelling very very sweet right now. Like putting you nose into a fruity candy bag with a nice smooth bakery smell still running in the background . Definitely smells like a good mix of her two parents but slightly more on the Zkittles side π
Next week I expect I will be seeing the buds fattening up even more and some more resin... Although she already has alot π
Thank you for stopping by I really do appreciate it. I have other diaries running aswell if you would like to check them out too.
Peace my friends βοΈπ
Another great update brother. The leaf tips issue is usually a sign of ph or toxicity to something being dealt with. If it continues up the leaf then the issue is more serious and will need sorting. Once the tips have took a hit the colour never returns so it could be from a previous feed etc.. if it is just the tips.
Humidity is our kryptonite in the UK sadly. Been an ongoing battle for decades for me until I got the dehumidifier. It helps with raising the heat in the grow room too. Keep an eye on Facebook marketplace. I got mine for Β£15 with 2 oil radiators and another heater. They thought the dehumidifier was a basic fan. A common error on selling sites !!. Happy hunting. Could try used on Ebay too. Lots of used equipment that has come from ex growers and auctions too. Worth a look.
The girls look damn good too. Golf ball buds cant be a bad sign. Might need a mini lawn mower for that cover crop or a goat too. Lpl keep up the great work mate.will pay dividends very soon.
@Ganjagrandaddy, Hey brother, thank you again for the kind words and the advice it really helps! π
That's an excellent idea actually, I don't really use fakebook but I might as well have a look.
Yeah you are right about the golf balls but I was going more for donkey d*cks lmao π
Yeah the cover crop got abit out of hand, it was abit of a test for when I start using bigger pots. Now I know to use alot less π
Thank you again my friend I'm really looking forward to harvest
@Mr_Pgrow, Yeah mate I canβt wait till she starts smelling more. Love smoking runtz atm but itβs not the same as homegrown . Very excited to smoke some
Good luck with your grow I hope you get the best taste of buds and healthy plants! Take care and stay lit! I will drop by sometimes to check on your process! Say hello if you ever visit my page!
Peace & Love - L.S.T ππΌπ
@Legendaryseedthumb, Thank you, I really do appreciate that mate, got my fingers crossed for a nice harvest π I will be following your grows too. Peace
but why 18/6 shcedule, eveyone with 20+ has much better grow speed, more yield and much more frostier buds. 24/0 schedule all the way, just look at dafunk420 grower or others who use more light on auto's. it's unethical how fast they grow and buds develop, autos don't need dark, just give them light as much as u can and they'll grow all the time. If they had 6hours more of light everyday, just imagine..
@Mandarina, Well spotted. This girl was actually on a 20-4 light schedule. I think it was lowered for a week or two during veg when I had it in the same tent as some photos. Must not of changes it back to 20.
Thanks for stopping by growmie ππ
Loving it UK. Cover crops are a brilliant method too. Lots of bio life and myco too. So much missed about how important fungi are to the planets plant network communication. I have been considering using ecothrive large beds instead of the pots for a more permanent forest floor type of base. Lots of comms between plants to balance the whole forest. Love your ethos and work mate.
@Ganjagrandaddy, Yes I am really liking this method so far! Plenty of microbiology going on in this pot π added live worms now aswell.
Yes the beds look really amazing I've been looking at the GrassRoots ones aswell as the eco-thrives but I think that set up will be a couple of runs away.
Wow and wow. You are nailing the training ring and grow. Looks top notch for a great flowering crown .
Those rotting leaves need removing really , I run l.o.s too and understand the need for bio life but it is a knife edge using leaf alone as infection can be rapid if catches the stems as the flowers thicken out. Could become a stem infection and also attract gnats ect. Bud rot is very easy to allow in when the buds start getting dense and it always starts deep in the bud at stem level . Different if part of cover breaking down as mulch on the surface I feel. Nice diary entry too. Needs some promotion on here I reckon. Some really useful info . Glad you restocked your equipment ect.. what a great comeback. Be safe brother.
@Ganjagrandaddy, thank you so much for the kind words and the advice my friend I really do appreciate it!
Yes they do need going and to be honest you are exactly right that I wanted to raise the bio activity. The leaves really do help I believe when they are still green, especially after a water.
I have since ordered some mulch, cover crops a 39 litre grass roots living soil pot (they look amazing) and also some worms from Yorkshire farms π (money is very tight so I have to save up and buy a few items at a time instead of the whole lot straight away)
I have a plan for my next run after this tent is empty to use the 45 litre living soil kit from ecothrive along with the above items plus living soils fertilizers dry ammendments. Only got a slim choice of photos to choose but im saving up money to get a better selection.
Thanks man, I don't really have any idea on how to get promotional stuff?
Anyway my friend thanks again for stopping by much appreciated I'll be following your diaries closely π
Peace βοΈπ
