She was tiny being that in doing this diary as a back log. I'm likely to skip uneventful weeks. I had no idea she would look like she does right now. The mother plant topped out at 27 inches.
However she only produced 25 grams of smokible flower.
She finally started hitting her stride. This week I went to high frequency fertigation 3x daily. And 9/3- 9/3 lighting schedule. And feel like it did wonders
Had a spurt over the 10 day period. I defoliated and took branches for cloning. Pinched stems and tied her her height is now close to the maximum it can reach in my 48×24×60
So whilst I waited for my flowering tent to open I let her veg and spread for another 2 weeks and ending this week she was transplanted to a 7 gallon pot
Got her in a 7 gallon now gave her her final preflower trim and tied the branches outward to give ample light. Dynomyco has had plants roots looking amazing. Preparing to flower
Removed well from her stripping. 2 day before the 12/12 flip started weeniing grow nutrients. Day of the initial 12 hr night started with bud ignitor, and spraying nodes with Bud Fuel will do for first 2 weeks til flowers are developing
First week and she grew 6 inches not much along the lines of flower development definitely developed a number of potential sights. Smell is picking up too
Still stretching seeing the first signs of flowering, funny how it took her longer to show than the mother plant but she is already taller than was at this same time.
Looks awesome finished the week at 34 inches. Flowers look identical to how mom's looked shape and look wise. And also notice this pheno of Gelato Cake leaves yellow and die rapidly
Smells and swells, Smells and smells
5 weeks down 3 or so to go nothing to really update watching the maturation and ripening of the buds. And twice daily I check and can see noticeable difference

So flower picking is me removing lower branches that appear to be maturing fast to stay small, and Weeks 3-6 I remove newly sprouting buds from. Low branches.
I don't remove the flower I'll force it to continue to grow from rockwool bubbleponic like and some begin to produce seeds
Entering the home stretch, it's all about Swells and Smells.
She looks better than the mother plant, lovely stench. And as for the branches in cubes I see seed development and hopefully as I go into harvest I can have pictures of almost ripe seeds.
This is the 4th time harvesting this Strain, 9th plant 3rd with the pheno,
So nothing outta the ordinary.
Won't flower this Strain out side October- April. Want that purple back.
I really enjoy growing and this strain is one I've spent a lot of time on. This is my largest harvest of Gelato Cake and it was only 1 plant, I have harvested 5 at once and just equaled what this one plant did. I feel really good about it thanks to the GD community for the support and diaries to learn from
