sooo it has been an amazing week! looks like all the training and long vegetative stage is paying me off with interests! ππ€―
I managed to take the whole grow space (didn't think I would be able to make it since it was my first time using scrog and topping techniques.)
They seem so hungry! I don't think the alternating only water and water with nutrients is working out for my babies. I have been giving them nutrients with the last 4 waterings and they still have low ppm values!
I'll keep giving them nutrients untill they are happy.
Also I had thrips,I got tired of stressing myself out over them so I sprayed a lot of diatomeaceus earth on my whole grow room and then I removed it from the flower sites. I think this will help me fight them at least a little bit. I know it is not ideal but I couldn't get anything official to do it I had to use what I already had. I did that 3 days ago and today I saw all the thrips on 1 leaf that didn't have diatomeaceus earth on it.
I'm happy with the results! nothing much else to say.
p.s. I'm always giving half of the recommended dose of fertilizers anywayπ₯.
Ive always grown photos and am just now reading about autos so im considering the opposite switch you made! This is my first grow in 12 years so honestly there weren't even autos out there when i was in the game and no one called regular plants photos , they were just plants π. Do you think its worth trying a few autos? Or think if im already running photos to just stick with those for consistency?
@olli0420, to be honest ive always wanted to jut didnt have the time, space, or reason to with medical and recreational. But now that recreational has destroyed the medical which has destroyed overall quality in the industry, im forced back to the garden and i love it.
I have some space in the rooms for a few autos, but ill have to wait until i figure out which of these bagseeds i want to keep going. Ive cloned two (during flower) of the 7, and will cull some more of those clones soon to make space for some autos!
@Posterboy, thank you so much! amazing you turned back at it!
by photoperiods I mean feminised photoperiod seeds. Now regular seeds are seeds that are fifty fifty female and fifty fifty male.
yeah it is definetly worth a shot if you never did them! I personally love to train them so I had problems with autos since they are way more delicate than photoperiods as they don't have time to recover and If induced to too much stress will flower. I think I'll do photos in my growroom and put some autos in my room as decor LOL.
Definetly try them if you never did. they are ready in 2 months/2 months and a half.
