Week one: Started out with 4 of the ILGM Classic Auto Mix (1X Blueberry Auto, 1X Amnesia Haze, and 2X Northern Lights) in Coco Loco. I did not start this grow being able to properly PH the water as I had 2 PH pens bite the dust on me. By the end of week 1 the Amnesia Haze was ripped out entirely by my cat while I left them unattended and was transplanted back in. I'm really surprised its made it through all of this. 1 of the Northern Lights didn't sprout so I was down to 3.
Week 3 was all about LST. I topped the Northern Lights around node 5. This halted her growth and the 2 nodes sprouting from it took way too long to recover making me super nervous! This week I started to find little gnats flying around my tent. Turns out this was from over watering so after I let the top inch or so of the medium dry out between watering the problem fixed itself, they were completely gone.
Just coasting this week. I'm following the fox farm nutrient schedule every other watering at half the recommenced dosage. Each plant is reacting differently to the nutes. Blueberry and Northern Lights are taking them in strides while the amnesia haze had been showing signs of getting too much.
This is the before picture of when i went on vacation for a week to what I came back to. Needless to say I was ecstatic! My very first buds grown all by myself! I am germinating a 4th plant be this week as I had an 0/3 on germinating Gorilla Cookies from Herbies. I'm starting to grow 1 more Amnesia Haze in the tent this week as well.
Heavy defoliation taking place this week as I am trying to expose the bud sites to more lights. I am taking out most major fan leaves and leaves that are blocking bug sights. I also somewhat lilipopped these plants to remove the larfy bud sites that we being produced at the bottom of the plant to focus more top bud site growth.
Blueberry: This one has stopped stretching and is focused on bud growth. I did a pretty heavy defoliation over the past couple of days and did a flush on day 44.
Amnesia Haze: This is turning out to be the biggest of the 3. She is starting to bud and stretched about 2 inches from the light. I found some brown spots on the leaves so I am assuming its from the light. Unfortunately I do not have the room to raise the grow light so I will have to come up with some other solution.
Northern Lights: This one is surprising me all things considered (extremely slow start, then I chose to topped it around the 5th node, which in hindsight is a mistake.
Humidity has ranged from 59%-67% all week. This is a little higher than I would like. I bought a small cheap dehumidifier that doesn't seem to be helping. I can either hope for the best or at this point invest in a dehumidifier.
This week Blueberry is packing on the weight. I had to buy a dehumidifier, humidity was ranging in the high 60s with the recent wet spill I've had here in VA and I was worried about bud rot on her. Since then I have been able to maintain around 55% humidity.
Northern lights is just now starting to throw pistols. She is trying to grow to the top of the tent on this grow apparently. I'm not going to defoliate this one I want to use it as a comparison against Amnesia Haze
Amnesia Haze is throwing pistols everywhere and starting to focus on bud growth. I expect this sativa dominate to have an incredible yield. She is pretty big for an autoflower. I did another heavy defoliation on it this week it was getting extremely bushy.
Blueberry: I flushed this plant this week to prepare for harvest within the next couple of weeks. I'm checking the trichomes with a little jewelers magnifier i bought off amazon (works pretty well for $10). They are still mostly clear.
(update) chopped blueberry this week. she is currently drying.
Amnesia Haze: Still feeding nutrients everything looks really good this week. This plant is showing a lot of bud production progress over the last week.
Northern Lights: Still feeding nutes and watering about every other day.
This strain is a hard hitting indica. If couch lock and sleepiness is what then this one is for you. It definitely doesn't smell anything like the random bag weed I grew up with.
The flavor and smell is a mix of sweet and sour
It grew incredibly fast and took a ton of training in strides.
