chee_52 👉🏽Day 2 (8/27): Seedling emerged late in evening of 8/25. Light height at 1 m with intensity set at 50%. Will be trying TaNg's easy auto feeding schedule, adding, Voodoo Juice/Mammoth P, Great White mycorrhizae (top-dressed bi-weekly), and Cal-Mag (when needed.) Total time to break soil surface: 36 hours. She was the first out the gate and is growing like a monster. 👉🏽Day 4 (8/29): First watering B-52, Voodoo Juice, and a top-dressing of Great White. Raised light intensity to one notch above 50%, and all's well. Next watering: Water, Voodoo Juice, and Great White, depending on pot weight. Next application of Great White: around 9/12 (bi-weekly).

A really vigorous plant. Couldn't be happier with her. 👉🏽 Day 13 (9/7): Watered with nutrients for the first time (1.5 liters). Drooping a bit (about 15% runoff), so I'll just water with 1 liter next time. Looks good otherwise. Next watering with Sensi Bloom A&B, Mammoth P, and (maybe) CalMag. Watered with first dose of Mammoth P. Held off on CalMag. Recovering well, and she just hit pre-flower. Will monitor to see if Sensi Bloom A&B can be stepped up to .75 ml/l due to some lightening on lower leaves. 👉🏽 Day 20 (9/14): Watered with higher level of Sensi Bloom A&B (.75 ml/l), first dose of CalMag, and second dose of Mammoth P for the week. chee_52 👉🏽 Day 22 (9/16): Will water on Day 23 with the higher level of Sensi Bloom A&B (.75 ml/l) and second dose of CalMag, holding off on next dose of Mammoth P until the watering to follow. Looking happy, with some minor N, Ca, & Mg issues. 👉🏽 Day 23 (9/17): Watered and did some minor defoliation of 50/50 leaves and cotyledons. The pot was bone dry, so I'm hoping for a quick recovery. 👉🏽 Day 24 (9/18): Switching lights to 20/4. 👉🏽 Day 25 (9/19): Normal watering with Mammoth P. Slowly but surely starting to stretch, and the leaf tucking is helping with stretching her horizontally. Unsure if I'll use a clip to supercrop the main--depends on how much she stretches. 👉🏽 Day 27 (9/21): Normal watering. Healthy and vibrant. The lights have been turned up to 2 notches above 50%, and everything's happy. 👉🏽 Day 31 (9/25): Watered, adding Great White top-dress and keeping Big Bud at .25ml/l. Now fully transitioned to 18/6 light cycle and is definitely less stressed. 👉🏽 Day 33 (9/27):Watered, defoliated lower leaves, and removed lower bud sites not getting light. Also removed inward-facing leaves. 18/6 working well so far. 👉🏽 Day 35 (9/29): Watered and continued defoliation, especially of lower bud sites. chee_52 👉🏽 Day 36 (9/30): Steady at 13" for the past three days and seems to be on the same schedule as the Orange Diesel (Mephisto) growing in the same tent. 👉🏽 Day 37 (10/1): Watered, with some minor defoliation and culling of lower bud sites. 👉🏽 Day 39 (10/3):Watered, with very minor defoliation. She's producing stigma left and right, but no visible trichomes yet. 👉🏽 Day 41 (10/5): Watered and defoliated to start clearing the canopy in earnest. She's pretty squat, and I want to make sure air circulation is top notch. Next watering with CalMag, Sensi Bloom A&B, Big Bud, Carboload. Will be adding nutrients with each watering. Did a little light training to expose the lowest branches' bud sites--nothing too crazy this far into flower. 👉🏽 Day 47 (10/11): Watered and noticed a bit of nitrogen burn on new growth, so I'll probably dial back the Sensi Bloom A&B to .5 ml/l for the future. Destroyed my (cheap) pH pen, got the (cheap) backup pen calibrated, and ordered a new Apera pen. No pH issues 12 hours after watering. 🤞 👉🏽 Day 49 (10/13): Apparently, my old pH pen was off +.9 in its readings, so she's probably been getting 5.6 pH waterings! She looks like she'll power through, though. Watered with Mammoth P. Bulking up. Next watering with CalMag, Sensi Bloom A&B, Overdrive, and Carboload. Will be adding nutrients with each watering. chee_52 👉🏽 Day 50 (10/14): Responded well to the first feeding with correctly pH'd (!) solution. This is the second fastest plant in the tent. 👉🏽 Day 51 (10/15): Fed, tucked some leaves, and removed a few 50/50 leaves. The new growth isn't showing any burned tips, so the lower Bloom dosage and correct pH seem to be doing the trick! 👉🏽 Day 53 (10/17): Fed and did some minor defoliation, including removing a small bud site not receiving light. Back on track and thickening up. 👉🏽 Day 55 (10/19): Fed and made sure to take a "before" picture of some trichomes; I'll be scheduling two 15-minute periods--four hours apart--of UVB light tomorrow for an initial run. The UVB light is hung at 36" above the canopy. 👉🏽 Day 56 (10/20): Responded well to first dose of UVB light, and I'll check the trichomes tomorrow to see if I can notice any denser growth. She's not showing as much damage from the previous pH issue, and the trichomes are about 40-50% cloudy. Responding well to UVB. 👉🏽 Day 59 (10/23): Fed, including a top-dress of Great White. Just letting her get on with it. The compact buds are some of the densest I've had the chance to grow. 😌 👉🏽 Day 61 (10/25): Fed with added Mammoth P. Not really doing anything with her right now--the strongest in the tent. 👉🏽 Day 63 (10/27): Fed and rotated. She's at about 70% cloudy and has turned out to be the fastest in the tent. Forgot to cut a sample bud during this watering. She's probably 10-14 days out. 👉🏽 Day 67 (10/31): Fed, rotated and cut off some larf to sample. Steady as she goes. 👉🏽 Day 69 (11/2): Fed and rotated, removing some 50/50 leaves. The larf was great, actually, like a more cerebral GG#4 that I hope will mellow as the trichs get cloudier. Maybe a week more? 👉🏽 Day 75 (11/8): Fed and rotated. Lowered the dose of Sensi Bloom A&B to .25 ml/l and raised the Overdrive to .5 ml/l. She's getting close. chee_52 👉🏽 Day 78 (11/11): Fed and rotated. Decided that will be the last watering. I'll be harvesting and wet trimming all four plants in the tent on Day 80 before placing them in the HerbsNow. Really excited about this one. 👉🏽 Day 80 (11/13): Harvest day for this 2-gallon experiment! Removed fan leaves before taking the photos included above. One of the stickiest plants I've encountered, but the wet trim was quick and easy. (The pooch loves this plant, maybe because it still smells a bit like bile and pine!) Wet weight: 135g. chee_52 This 4AM was a solid plant, even with pH issues, and only needed minor defoliation, lollipopping, and LST. I was surprised that this 2-gallon grow produced 1 oz. of dried bud, but my previous 3-gallon grows produced 2-2.5 oz. yields. The buds are pretty compact but not the densest--maybe 8/10 on that scale. I can imagine the 2-gallon pot being perfect for a SoG grow, and 6 plants would fit comfortably in my 2x4 tent. (The max in my state is 6 flowering plants.) Note: I traded for this seed with another member of the Missouri MMJ Discord group, so this is from seed stock sold in 2019-2020. (I just purchased from the new November 2021 4AM batch and will be interested to see how consistent the phenotypes are with the next grow.)
