Chose two seeds from the Purple Haze Auto Fem as freebies from Seedsman and 1 Lemon auto that was paid for, to start another auto grow as my Jack Herer soil grow finishes. 1 of two sprouted of the Purple Haze Auto. On package of S. Ltd (whatever that means) Purple Haze Auto Fem and i cannot find this anywhere except here(GD). Just saying. Impressed with Seedsman so far. I'm also on week 3 of a bagseed strain I'd recieved from a buddy who'd been saving these for a very long time! It's something wicked because it's growing quickly and stinks of high hell! Not even the jack has a smell yet and its on week 7 flower! Anyways, this being my second diary, it will be much more detailed and hopefully more informational. Might have to invest in a trellis this grow..

Has anyone ever grown two autoflowering strains(different or the same strain) in one container? Other than root entanglement, what issues did you have? I assume feeding will be an issue..

Hi! Yes, I’ve don’t it—- one always grows a bit bigger than the other and they finished at different times. I would only do it again in 7 gallon pots with living soil—- it’s hard to get them on the same feed schedule. Now I just plant autos in smaller pots

Lemon auto transplanted well and showed no shock. My purple haze is doing well and is already showing its pheno just under cotyledons. The Purple Haze Auto planter popped up another seed indicating the other PH did in-fact, germinate. I'm trying to go back in time in my head because I did try to germinate a Strawberry Punch and I believe another Lemon auto but had issues with soaking and with paper towel methods(I'd thought). Still have a few weeks left in my Jack Herer Soil grow#2 so I have room for these three seedlings to grow, even though I have yet another bagseed strain I'm thinking is some kind of Haze in its 3 weeks of life. I will probably install a trellis net to keep growth under 3ft and also attempt FIM in the next week or so. Other than that, everything is going well, cool temps, no strange growth or stunting, no pests other than some fungus gnats here and there.

Seedlings are growing fairly quickly and have not seen any slowing down on transplant days. Bagseed plant is vigourous and also growing quite well. Showing signs of being male and leaf blotch, i may have to remove mango tree and clean after this grow.

Everything is going well and seeing strains abilities to fight off fungal leaf blight that has plagued my room but other than that, all is well! Happy to see a male in the bunch and such healthy, strudy, indica features too! After his balls progress and show more, I'll have to move to another location to live out the rest of his life with tomato plants but will be using pollen to cross with fems. I have also started to water the lemon and purple haze autos. I figured a good dose of root innoculant, immediately soluble Nitrogen and carbs in right away so made a quite strong mixture and PHd to 6.6 (2500ppm in 150ppm RO) night before and today see quite vigorous growth! Love fish emulsion from Lilly-Millers Alaska brand! Grow diaries should include this line of fertilizers because imo it works much better than any other big name brand fert! Their blooming phase fertilzer Morbloom spanks it too when it comes to effectivness! 5stars I miss my hydro grows and once this room has gone to harvest and winter sets in...heaven..going back to cold weather swc growing. Maybe with a cross of this bagseed and lemon auto? Lol 😆 3rd day of week 3 I decided to FIM my purple haze auto in thought that the other lemon auto can grow upright and hopefully stay in line as far as growth with the other. Might FIM the other in a few days, we'll see. I might start FIMing my autos from now on because the growth on the Purple Haze Auto is much more vigorous than than the Lemon Auto, more so than the Lemon in its own pot as well! Might be genetics though, have to think long-term in this instance. Rethinking my fertilizing amounts. Have I been too conservative and missing out on huge, dank buds!? Each feeding I've been gradually upping amounts of my veg regimen for these plants, waiting to see overwatering/nute burn and so far have notice neither. Next week I will be almost doubling fertilizer to RO water...might even splash some municipal well water in the mix to even out PH. Time will tell.

No issues whatsoever especially since outside temps have come way down this September! All four plants have no issues growing, I'm going to have to make room by the end of this week so i can transplant into larger pots but i do like the squat nature of these cultivar. I have added cal-mag w/Iron & Macronutrients, Sweet Raw, along with upping amounts of veg ferts and have lowered the amount of water per day, essentially concentrating the solution because I feel that I have been far too conservative with my feeding schedule. I have also not witnessed any lockout, toxicities really ever in my grows SO, I'm ramping up amounts and every other watering it PHd RO H2o to clear salts. I'm really starting to get into Seedsman's strain vitality and vigor. Bagseed plant has to be a male but not 100% as I have noticed pistillate growth at one node. It has awesome traits and good resistance to my abusing it. I have only completely watered this plant once since week 2 of life but the implications if this plant is intersex but predominantly male? I may have to keep this to breed.

Had noticed early this week brown spotting on one plant, closer examination determined damage from green leaf spot type insects. Sprayed with high concentration neem oil, bugs and spotting gone. I also notice stunting from nutrient lockout and underwatering. I went too high last couple rounds with the nitrogen, magnesium and sulfur, ultimately leading to a very mild calcium-magnesium lockout leading to fan leaf necrosis. Each three plants have had a day or two delay/stunt but each have come out of it today after a good flushing. I need to remind myself to go easy on the nutrients now as the lemon autos are in preflower while Purple Haze auto is still in veg. Bagseed plant is just ticking away, not growing vertically as I'd though and the branching structure so far....very strange if you ask me! Through all the abuse I've put each of my plants through, this plant is the strongest and have the genetics for another round of my Frankenstein crosses like my Hulk Buster (Bruce banner kush x NL#5 x back x) strain. Also, even though this plantbis more than a month old, I still cannot for 100% + that this is male or female orrrrrrr....shim? Lmfao but on a seriousl note now, please refer to Bagseed photos for up close of bracts at 6.5 weeks. We'll see how this week goes with the cooler weather. Just fed with fish fertilizer tonight but went lighter and used PH'd 6.5, water after adding 1/2 mL cal-mag... nothing else. Lemon Autos are in full preflower stretch but are staying compact, win so far...quick and compact w/lots of bud sites already! Purps? Plant kinda took over 2.6Gal pot and has fully reformed after my FIm job, beautiful growth but I think this and the bagseed plant will out grow my 3.5x5x6.5ft space! It's still vegging too!! Have also monter cropped Bruce banner outdoor and my first run at Taranchula Genetics Strawberry Dream plant came out of the rigors I put new strains through by germing in water and abusing as soon as cotys show! This one I started Kratke and realized this plant is fertilizer needy...water wasn't going to cut it. I should be doing separate diaries for these...I just might actually 😉

Lemon auto plant is having some issues. Purple Haze Auto and other Lemon Auto are doing fine with zero issues. I've noticed that the Purple plant is now starting it's preflower phase, just a week a or after the lemons🍋 and that calyxes are slight pink to a purple! I've also realized I've been watering with Reverse Osmosis but not doing slurry tests as previous cultivars haven't needed to have PH up or down, I have almost 5 acidic water with EC 20, PPM 15. I was feeding 2ml cal/mg before I had toxic symptoms on all plants except bagseed. Anyways, my ph is too high and my soil reader is old at and saying 6...i feel like this plant has both Geranium Rust Fungus and mg deficiency. I will PH my water to 7 and add 2mL cal/mag per Gal and let sit 24hrs before watering. Bagseed plant, so strange but has the center of my attention. This has to be a landrace strain from back in the days when brick weed and schwagg was still hip(I still love brick weed myself!) as it isn't expressing alot of hybrid vigor. Branching and frame of this plant is very Indica and I see no definitive example of plants true sex...this being almost 60 days into this grow. That and the sex parts aren't showing balls or spikes either, just crab like growths, almost like a premature leafset at the middle of a axiom but smaller. Weird. I removed these plants stand which gave an extra 12" off the ground, lowered lights 4", bam..within 2 hours all plants were "praying" like to say "thank you for moving me away from that hot ass light, shit!" Lol Could be light burn for the one lemon auto. Will keep you updated.

What do taco'd down single leaf from the set mean? Most other leaves are fine but there are individual leaves that appear weak, bend and then flatten out. This plant has had issues for the past couple weeks, did the roots find a hot patch and get nutrient burn?

Hmm when leaves are drooping it usually a sign of overwatering along with the tips being light that indicates something isn't in balance in your nutrients and if your getting small branches theres likely not enough silica in your feeding schedule silica is not a needed extract but it helps build strong plant cell walls which helps build stronger larger more robust branches. I would double check your feed she maybe getting too much or too little of something. it could be an overfeed and most likely is but if it is. its very slight and I dont think would impact growth that much with a lower feed im sure it would sort itself out. to know an overfeed for sure the edges of the leaves will turn orange from the edges inwards being a dwc grower overfeeding is something I am used to lol anyway best of luck brother :)

Took out the smaller Amazon 144 mixed spectrum light and installed a :) Mars Hydro TS600 and dang, what a difference it's made on my mango and the purple Haze Auto! Purps appears to be well into Veg mode but the other Lemon Autos are both a various stage of flower, one stretching badly with nutrient deficiencies and one that's a big, single cola, drowned out by the Haze plant. I was told this would happen but I'm stumped as to why these plants are doing the best of all my plants. Have alot of other details I could ramble on about but don't want come off obsessive, these plants see me for 20 minutes every day and don't need much except water.

Next time I do an auto run, remind me not to mix strain varieties please! After much research, I'm but a handful of people with these Seedsman Limited Purple Haze Auto and that they have an at least 5 week veg stage. There was a reason these Lemon Autos are so cheap too, their genotype variation is quite astounding and is not very stable genetically. Anyways, I have two autos in early flower including the one Lemon auto in the same pot as the Purple Haze auto. I also have two photo strains in the room. Playing a game of wait and see plus sea of green, hope I have enough room! I had to note that I was about ready to cut the Purple Haze auto this morning as it just appeared droopy and sluggish compared to others in same room with same kinda conditions. I knew I watered yesterday with notes, felt medium and felt somewhat moist but in back of my head knew I watered and don't need root rot. Gave her a good drink of non PHd water, straight, 2 hours later, perky growth again! I feel like the purple haze needs a huge pot with alot of dry notes and not a tiny plant next to it pulling away alot of the phosphorus, iron, potassium and a zinc out of the soil. The Lemon Autos, are weird to say the least. I just hope these yield a small amount of lemony smoke. I don't need one-hitter quitter but zesty, smooth smoke as I love real lemon smelling/tasting strains. I have a very light infestation of white thrips in my room. Have used neem with good success. Found out 2 days ago they and a previous fungus gnat infest that cycles were coming from Mango tree. Tree was removed and during investigation, found root aphids and thrip larvae. Whew! No more trees for me except smokable ones! As this week closes, these plants have gone through a rollercoaster but have come out just fine. Next weeks journal should be fun.😉

This last week was hellish for all my autos and the bagseed plant and had a what I've concluded to be a lockout in part due to hot transplant soil/dehydration and light burn. All conditions have been remediated and we are back on track with strong, healthy growth all around. Lemon Auto by itself is showing nitrogen deficiency in old leaves, indicative of this plant using old fan leaves' N reserves as it didn't get enough and is now full swing flower. Lemon Auto with P. Haze Auto shows zero issues, it's just tiny but the buds are very dense and frosty. It just doesn't look like the other lemon, like at all! Now the Purple Haze auto on the other hand. Seedsman claims it's a 70 day strain...I'm thinking this particular seeds has Photoperiod on her mind as it shows no stopping to the veg train she's on! I focus on this purple haze auto as I only had 3 seeds and it's my first true purple pheno I've decided to grow out(besides outdoor plants that turned purp from cold) but seeing how Seedsman just informed me this is true Purple Haze crossed with straight up Ruderalis...bound to get a few that lean photoperiod here and there, right? Anyways, all I know is that she does not like being underwatered at all! Two or so times I've seen droopy leaves and piss poor growth, to me indicative of overwatering so what do I do? Wait, to no avail. Water a cup of water and an hour later, perky, vigorous growth again! So now we live on an emergency watering globe along with daily floodings. Never have I had a plant that thrives in soggy soil!! I also wonder when to feed her seeing as other plant is in full flower..

What can I say, I think I might not have the room...lol! That and with elevated light amounts 19 hours a day, with great soil, I've been spacing out watering...BIG TIME! I came from Jack Herer autoflower both DWC and soil, neither were as aggressive of feeders or needing of water as much as any plant in my garden right now! Like seriously, as long as I keep the soil soggy there's awesome growth! My stunted Lemon Auto has now fully overcome its issue and is full swing flower. The other Lemon Auto with the PH auto is now 90% crowded out, I'm not worried about that plant as it has never seen any issues and cola has developed nicer than any of my Jack Herer flowers. Once most leaves on Lemon autos have yellowed, I will defoliate but until then I want all the stored nutrients to be used by the plant first. Purple Haze auto? This has to be one of my more challenging strains to grow as it just doesn't want to flip, despite obvious preflowers. Last night I'd added an 8 watt far red COB led w/carclo lens to simulate a changing season. I realize the emerson effect isn't supposed to work with autoflowers but you explain to me how a 60-day autoflower strain can be grown 4.5 months and still be flowering?(Current outdoor autoflower). Today you can see the difference with using this supplement all day in small amounts. This week I will also be going a little higher on the bloom fertilizers and wean a bit off the Nitrogen. Bagseed plant? This plant was absolutely chosen by God for me to breed with. Most males would have stretched and would have been trying to go to flower already, not this plant! Definitely wasn't meant to be indoors but he's managing but will only get very mild ferts from here on out. Lots to talk about here but am kind of worried about this Purple Haze Auto not flowering. I wouldn't have grown out this strain if I knew it was a very slow flower, my sea of green plan isn't overlapping like it should but FIMming this plant may have given this plant an extra 2 weeks? Or maybe this plant took after Photperiod Purple Haze mother? Thoughts?

Just wow is all I can say! I bit off more than I can chew, I'm not even to flower with my photos and I've run out of horizontal space with these plants! I will be doing alot of manicuring but with light being fought over, i will let all of these plants keep healthy leaves until autos are finished and photos are that much closer to flower. For now I am using 20watts of light to illuminate the underside of canopy to make up for shade areas. I also added an end and beginning of day 30-minute spurts of 690-710nm far-red to further hasten the flowering process. Purple Haze auto (which is growing photo) loves this little 8watt led and has 8 main flowering sites and is still working on more terminals. Bagseed Indica also seems to enjoy the IR. Things appear out of hand, especially the Lemon Autos but I assure you all is well. Yeah, that 2nd Lemon Auto is 99% covered by the Purple Haze but it still has huge buds for such a little plant and its purple! Lots to tell here but have alot of cleaning up and ordering of flowering items to be done..

I'm done with autoflower cultivar! That and trying to grow outdoor specimens indoors, no bueno. In this micro-grow area of mine will be from now on, limited to two plants and I will be much more selective of what plants to grow out! I've had a few autos turn out but with this grow getting so out-of-control, autos being photos, etc. It would just be easier for me as an individual limit the type of growing I'm doing to just breeding; one male, one female but with this bagseed male...we will see what the offspring are like at a later time but for now I'm trying to force this male to flower. Alot of growth from the purple haze auto, so much so it has crowded out both Lemon Haze autos and I can't even see one but can smell it!! Once I get to 12/12, growth should be completely focused on buds but for now I'm allowing all plants time to transition @14 hrs and EOD Emerson effect treatments. More soon. Also, something is off with my camera's contrast, everything in my room from my perspective is very green, light/lime yes but it appears yellow in my photos. I suppose I could go a bit higher in soluble N, an and Iron when I feed but as of today, Blood meal is making it's way to the top of my favorite amendments...quick! I've gone a tad bit more rich with feedings on the N side for the Purple Haze auto as it is not auto and kind of let the Lemon Autos finish, hopefully my 2 in 1 lemon isn't soaking up all the N in its last couple weeks...smoke might be zingy/zesty! Anyways, I've basically let the two lemon autos go and have focused on Purple Haze. Can't wait until flower!

Good week. Flowering like crazy Purps is! Same with the Lemon Autos...even though they are shaded completely out, plants are still very much alive and maturing. I might even get some seeds here and there as my Indica Male has been flowering for several days now. Lemon autos may have a couple weeks left. Sorry I can't get better photos...I have zero room in my space!!! :)

Another zero issue week. Purple Haze plant is getting N hungry trying to keep flower production up despite being fertilized and seeded all over. I use Floralicious plus w 2% soluble N to slow senescence. Having the male removed, temps have gone down and humidity levels have gone up during the days, despite temps staying same. The remaining Lemon Auto and this NOT AUTO Purple Haze will still produce quite a bit of smokable flower and as I look closer at the Lemon Auto, I don't see seeds. Cant wait to get the next generation of Purple Haze x Landrace Indica going!

Both Lemon Autos have been harvested, leaving the Purple Haze Auto that seemingly is Photoperiod. This plant is doing well and only suffered a little light burn as this plant has a very aggressive pre-flower stretch, trellis and more LST is in my micro grow area...I just don't have vertical space for lanky sativas! Kind of glad I FIMmed this plant early on! Other female sativa dominant in the room has far surpassed height restrictions since I never topped it and consequently has more light burn & malformed flowers. This purple plant has been heavily pollinated but is still forming unfertilized buds, I should see a qp of smokable medicine but will have next gen purple/Indica variant. I have plenty of meds from previous grows so I kind of want more viable seeds. Anyways, happy growing everyone! Started using Foop OrganicBioSciences aggressively December 14th at 5:30pm. I have also been Using PH up 1mL per Cup to get soil PH from 5.56 to at least 6 for the last month of flower. This Ph fluctuation is very typical with my indoor grows both in soil/coco/hydro during flower as root mass takes over and reacts to nutrients introduced each watering. However, this is my first grow watering every day, that and using recommended dosages or more each feeding(every day). Yep, there's light burn...not nute burn, okay? It's all good! Most of this plants fan leaves are merely food storage and if they fry up top...oh well. This one plant that used to be in a pot with another Lemon Auto has matured into a HUGE Bush that will easily yield a half pound flower-seeds and all! Stems are already stressed by flower weight and are beginning to droop...sugar leaves and calyxes are dripping with trichomes that give off a very Haze odor. Not fruity, lemony, earthy, pungent but like smelling the color purple! Purple phenotypes are very much in plant stems but flowers keep green hues....at least for now!

Super disappointed with this strain! Not happy at all with the outcome of this supposedly Auto Purple Haze! Smoke is going to be crap but I hope I get at least a handful of viable seeds. Meh, even if this plant wasn't exposed to a male, I believe it was destined to be troubled from weeks 5 and up. Oh well. I'll let shit dry and manicure it a bit but just by looks and smell, potency is going to be minimal and taste I assume will be harsh. We'll see..

Was kinda fun growing a male indoors! He served his purpose and fertilized females in space during its life. There will be no smoke review obviously! Lol Very, very Indica plant! Can't wait to see what it's offspring grow out to look like!
