Started another grow and I am pumped to get more Durban in the ground. I had two more Durban seeds and they popped real fast and got out of that soil quick. I am very impressed with Mendocino farms and how I was able to germinate all three seeds from them. These Durbans are my favorites and I am excited to watch them grow into good sized plants. I threw these seed right into the soil and added about a shot of water. It look around 4 days for them to pop out of the soil and they came out the same day.
Very Happy with the first week here. She is growing nice bid leaves so far and seems to be happy with the growing conditions. No nutrients at this point just nice Ph balanced water every two days. her Leaves looks a bit heavy for one day but she perked up overnight. She is moving along like my first Durban and it makes me happy. Not much to say this week as I am not doing much but watching her grow. Happy growing everyone.
This little lady is behind a day or two from its other Durban sister; but she seems to be happy...I think. She has some heavy leaves and I am not sure why. I am not over feeding her and got the fan circulating hair around and through her. She is getting fed every two days like the other ones and only got nutrients once this week. I am going to keep an eye on her and see if there is any other issues present throughout this week. I am going to start training her this week to see if I can get her to stretch more of her underbelly. She seems to be doing good and is growing fast. I am really excited to compare her to the other Durban when completed. She is starting to get a nice smell to her as well. Hope all is well growers! Happy Growing!
She seems to be a happy plant at this time. We started to do some training with ties but mostly leaf tucking at this time. She is starting off like the Durban #1 I did so i think she will get taller over the next week or so when I think she will start Stretching. She is enjoying the light help with getting some light to the lower branches and is slowly creeping taller. Same with the other Autos i am not sure if its to much nutrients or a Cal-Mag problem but I am going to keep an eye on it and try even a smaller amount of nutrients to keep her happy. Over all I think she is happy and going to do some good growing in the weeks to come. Hope all is well! Happy Growing!
This little lady is acting more like the Durban Auto #1 I did. Her stretch isnt as strong as the #1 or even near the Durban #2 but the pre flowers she started to produce this week look the best. She might be a little short at this time but she looks like she is going to blast off any day and stretch hard. I think she might produce bigger buds that #2 just because I see bigger pre flowers on her but what do I know since i am so new at this lol. She is a very happy plant at the moment and taking the nutrients very well. I kept up with LST but not as hard as I probably could have before she started getting pre flowers. I cut 3 fan leaves off to help and she seems to be doing ok. Air flow doesnt seem to be a problem at the moment but i am going to keep an eye on this. I am going to keep pushing this little lady and I hope I can get another 6 inches of height on her. Hope everyone is good! Happy Growing!
This little lady looks like she is going to have some big buds just from how she looks now; i could be wrong though lol. She is different than the Durban #2 and about 10 inches shorter. Bud structure seems to be different as well too. She is still doing some stretching and seems to be very happy. I was hoping she would be taller and more like the first one I did but she seems like she is going to be shorter with big buds; which i am ok with. I took some leaves off to giver her some more light and im sure more will need to be removed this week. Overall Im happy with how she is doing and how she looks. Hope all is well! Happy Growing.
Not a super heavy defoliation on this lady this week but she needed one for sure. She started to plump up throughout the week and started to get some crystals going. She seems to be moving faster than the others which is strange because I though she was behind the tall Durban. She is looking great though and I am excited to see how big her flowers get. She is likely done stretching but she seems like she will produce a good amount. She is shorter than the Durban #1 I did but similar growth pattern. Some of her fan leaves are definitely not taking the nutrients to well and I see the side effects of nutrient burn. She is on water every other day and nutrients every other day as well. She seems to be happy so i am happy, hope all is well! Happy growing!
This little lady is definitely showing signs of to much nutrients but also showing some pretty natural colors as well. She get getting thicker each day and smelling stronger as well. She is going to be done before the other ladies she shares a room i think. Its possible she only has two or 3 weeks left but I havent busted out the microscope to see what she looks like up close. She seems to be a happy camper and is producing really good flowers right now. She is starting to get super coated in crystals and im seeing around 35% of her hairs turning to orange. Not much to say about this one as she is impressing me with how big her flowers are even though she is a smaller lady next to her Durban sister. Excited to see this one though. The Durban number two is a fat little lady with great bud production in the works right now. Its possible she is going to be done sooner than the other but its hard for me to tell at this time. She is covered in trichomes and smells super strong. I am checking her daily with the scope but the cheap one I have so ordering a new one is in the works. Slamming her with nutrients and some of her fan leaves are showing it with some burning going on. No straight water this week and it seems to kick her development into high gear. This lady went in the dark almost 72 hours ago and was the first to finish and show me she was ready. I am actually surprised as the first Durban Auto I did took 11 weeks to finish but also had a lot more amber when I decided to chop her down. After that experience I decided i want to see what she is like a her peak TCH levels and if she would give me the Durban high I enjoy. She is smelly and seems to have good density to her. I havent touched her buds much but she looks like she is going to be one sticky lady. I plan to chop her down tonight and get her all set up for drying. I have not decided if I want to chop her at the steam or cut her down branch by branch at this time. She was some days ahead of her roommates so I am happy I was able to get her in a different tent for her dark period. Hope all is well! Happy Growing!
This little lady was the first to finish and the first to get cut down. She is almost 3 full days ahead of it tent mates and looks and smells great. She is super sticky and glows when you look at her. I decided to cut her down and dry her as a hole and see if it turns out different from the other ones. I decided to see what she was going to look like a little and trimmed one of her small branches and i am excited to see how she smokes in a few weeks. She still needs around 5 or 6 more days to be done then it will be time to weigh her out. Hoping for better quality of buds! Hope all is going well with your grows! Happy Growing!
Sticky - easiest of all the plants to trim. Massive buds make it easy to clear out all the small leaves and fan leave. Trichome production turned out to be great and kept my scissors nice and sticky. Happy with how she looks and how she is going to taste.
