Had to split this diary just to keep track of this one now that we’ll be flowering em to the end. New dutch bucket recirc system took a minute to put together but now that she’s purring, the grow is practically on auto pilot🤟. First run of clones got decimated by aphids that came in with the strawberry cuts. Second run of cuts was taken from the mothers when six (yes 6) weeks into flower. Honestly - 90% success rate on rooting is pretty damn good. I thank the homemade aerocloner. She’s been very reliable. As a result of such a late reveg. They’ve had a hell of a time figuring themselves out and are just total mutants. Alls good - probably another couple weeks to launch… errrr, re-launch of flower. Special shoutout to Druid nutrients for providing the go-juice. Can’t wait to see the results👍. Background This ones tied to part 2 of the pollen chuck. They were supposed to be a clone run for pollination but the mothers all reveg’d due to a timer incident and high stupidity. These will be the inaugural flowering run of the revamped dutchy system. Growing made easy😉. Shit ton of finagling and setup but once she’s ready - sit back, relax and watch em grow😍😎. Thanks for take’n a look.

Didn’t take long for these ones to root out, especially considering that we’re in flower. A total of 8days and we only lost one👍. All we have to do now is wait until they get some additional reveg. Week 2 of veg. - transplanted pretty late due to vacation away from home. Dutch system all charged up and @druidnutrients do’n it’s thing to keep all the clones happy. Now it’s all waiting for these girls to straighten themselves out so we can launch flower…. Again…. We should at least be able to adapt and roll with a couple of issues we noticed during the mother grow that should offset any more unexpected events👍. The system is officially leak free which is nice to see and the arrangement fits like a glove within the cabinet. Only thing we really didn’t leave any room for was space for a scrog net on the table. This could prove troublesome in the future depending on how big they need to get to show veg. Maturity. We’ll see what happens 🤞. Background This ones tied to part 2 of the pollen chuck. Week 3 of the reveg. And theyre all now firmly trying to regrow - some a lot faster than others. The white widow amd northern lights are well ahead of the curve. Had to trim the top branch on the widow just to slow er down a bit so the others can catch up. A couple of em are lagging but is what it is. We’ll probably start some training in a few days once the side branching on each gets some more legs. It’s really funny to watch em grow. It’s kinda like watching a plant develop in reverse. We really weren’t expecting to have the same strains on the grow for this long so it’s nice to finally be back in recirc hydro where maintenance is much much easier. All is extremely well this time around and let’s just hope there aren’t any more stupid hiccups👍. Background This ones tied to part 2 of the pollen chuck. Week 4 of the reveg. And we’re almost there👍. We could flip half the plants to flower now but the others are gonna need another week, maybe 2 before they’re ready. This weeks mostly been about chopp’n out the old buds at the base of the stems and spreading branches. About half of em are still workn on branching while the other half has shown vegetative maturity and remain ready for flower at any time. Kinda predictable - the white widow is again, on beast mode next to the others. Northern lights and SOG Lookn good too. Blueberrys got a little more work to do and the boogie nights still needs to find its way as well. Other than that - the system is still purr’n like a kitten and the plants seem to be loving the Berkana nutes. Hopefully not much longer n the veg. Cycle so that we can finally bring these strains to a full flower close.👍 Background This ones tied to part 2 of the pollen chuck. Week 5 of the reveg. And no more than 1 week left to launch!👍. They’ve all taken off over the last week with the boogie nights finally bursting into mature veg. Same goes for the Blueberry which has been the slowest to date. They’ll need the rest of the week for sure. Funny thing is that it’s starting to look like this reveg. Run was unnecessary. The mothers have recovered from the light cycle disaster and are now looking like budding winners once more. I’m too far in to this run to pull the plug now which is frustrating. We’re anxious to get into a few reg. Seeds next cycle for another pollen collection so this has slowed the sched. Considerably. Despite such it’s been a great test for the dutchy system and our new nute line from Druid Nutrients. I don’t shout out shit unless it’s truly doing something good and Druid is proving a remarkable component. No issues or deficiencies. Even with one particular strain (the Skywalker) where a calmag def. was expected to be a certainty. U folks keep up the good work👍. Not long now y’all - think we’re gonna have some more untameable monsters🤟🤟🤟👌. Background This ones tied to part 2 of the pollen chuck. 6th week of veg. Is finally in the books and all systems are go for the flower show. As they’re revegged clones, their branching structure is just ridiculous. Sucker branches everywhere pulling nutrient flow away from the winners. Right before we flipped and as per videos - we gutted every single plant and crushed it down to no more than about 7 tops max per plant. The whole goal is only to flower select, top shelf bud with every opportunity (and space) to grow to its fullest potential. So far, Druid nutrients has fit the bill for every one of em and they’re all extremely happy on this system👍. We also couldn’t resist and snipped another run of clones off each one but the Skywalker. Not sure if the boogie nights or blueberrys will make it but u never really know do you🤷. That said, the diy aerocloner has been a beast for us and minus an aphid issue last round - she puts out a 100% success rate😉. We’ll use the best of these as complimentary to reg. Run of some spicy bitch we’ve got coming up. Even if the pollen chuck is a failure - we won’t be losing any of the elite white widow or blueberry genetics🤞🤞🤞🤞. Other than that - it’s all wait’n on the buds now👍👌👍. Until next week. Background This ones tied to part 2 of the pollen chuck. Week 1 of the flower/transition is in the books and so far, so good. After chopping out all but the best branches from each plant we flipped the light cycle and dropped some more clones in to the aerocloner. I am so done with this run of genetics but still can’t deny quality cuts when they’re available. Again, if there was a run to test out this new system with it’s definitely this one. We’ve been plagued by calmag, nute burn, nute def. across all of em at some point over the last 8 months. But since incorporating the Druid nutes - all of Em have been perfect👌. This should be a prefect opportunity to see exactly what kind of buds each of these strains throws out👍. Background This ones tied to part 2 of the pollen chuck. Through 2 weeks of transition and everything is running on straight auto pilot. It’s been more smooth than expected to be honest. Flowering on these reveg’d clones has enagaged faster and our res. Top offs are about 10L every 3-4 days. Gave the res a full empty and clean + changed out the pre-filters. A lot less grungy than the last run with a different nute brand too. Gotta keep say’n it - Druid nutrients has an amazingly simple component in their Berkana base nute and I’m incredibly impressed that this hasn’t yet required any real modification in terms of solutions ratios. These guys aren’t too well known on GD but I assure you they will be making serious waves with this product in short order (no - I wasn’t paid to say this 🤣). Alls well and as long as we have no unexpected screw ups, we’ll get to see the true glory of all these strains in very short order👍. Thanks for tune’n in and I’ll throw up a quick vid next week when we’re on to full bloom👍. Background This ones tied to part 2 of the pollen chuck. Week 3 of the stretch is in the books and as with last week - smooth sail’n. We defoliated extremely heavy at the end of the week to try and turn out the overall final structure of each plant - 3/4 mains and only the best of the top shelf bud will be spared on this run. Still dealing with WPM issues on the NL but the environment is regulating big time now that we have the heat on in the house. A full 20% drop in RH should do wonders to combat the WPM. My patience has been tested having to run these plants again after the last cycle but I’m glad I did. Too many good strains in here not to make sure we got the grow right this time. The dutchy system and Druid Nutrients will go a long way to that end to. It a like the system and the nutes were made for each other to be honest🤟. Alls good this week - looking forward to some big time bud stacks so we can finally start taking the pretty photos 😉. Until next week😎. Background This ones tied to part 2 of the pollen chuck. We’ll, we’re through the stretch and the girls still pushed out that little bit more on top of it too. We’re dangerously close to the light now but I’ve gotten away with this before. The structure is still airy and light which is a very good thing. Despite regulated RH (which I now think might’ve also been related to too much volume in the res🤷?) the WPM has persisted on the northern lights and shown a touch on our best blueberry and the boogie nights as well. Been treating and defoliating where absolutely necessary and it’s keeping these stalks much thinner than I prefer. But again, yield isn’t the goal here but rather, perfectly harvested buds to make up for the last round. The nutrient system by Druid Berkana continues to impress and all systems are leak free and purring like kittens. She’s on auto pilot and I quite like only having to pluck a leaf here or spray some h2o2 there. It’s mellow and chill in terms of maintenance. If only I didn’t have all my other shit on the go constantly it would be a dream come true 😂. Either way - shits been great and the buds are really stacking in now. Two weeks from now we should have some real sweet photos as they mature the way they were meant to👍. Til next week✌️, Background This ones tied to part 2 of the pollen chuck. Through 5 weeks of flower now and update as follows: The good - bud development is on pace and they’re all really taking shape and entering maturity. The smell has kicked up substantially as well👍. Lil a bit of individualized calmag def. On the NL which is real strange. Wondering if it might be a transport issue with the plant. All other systems doing what they should👌. The bad - keeping up with the WPM. Really limits what foliage we can leave on at times and it advances like crazy. Treating it every day now with a 25%-30% ratio of H2O2 and that helps. Just means a bud wash in the end which is still a real pain in the ass. We were gonna keep these real light and airy anyways but still - I don’t like being forced to it by this bullshit either. Meh - we’re in the middle of upgrading the vent fan size to pull a little more anyway, so that should help dramatically. We’ll see. The ugly - there is none…. But the grow ain’t over yet😬🤞. Until next week✌️ Background This ones tied to part 2 of the pollen chuck. They were supposed to be a clone run for pollination but the mothers all reveg’d due to a timer incident and high stupidity. End of week six of flower and things are moving as expected although the WPM is taking a toll on their resources. I’m also moving to a ph’d water only on the next top off as theres a little hint of burn across all of em. Inconsequential with the WPM issue though. We moved to a sodium bicarbonate solution as a foliar in lieu of the h2o2. The peroxide helped but I do wonder if it impacts yield due to the harshness factor. It’s all mitigation at this point regardless. Don’t expect a huge impact and again - goal isn’t yield so we’re roll’n wit it. It’s was worth the effort - juuuust now starting to see some colour coming off the blueberry. The way it was meant to be for that full fade🤟😎.

Week 7 of flower and a couple of notable developments following the last update. The WPM issue of course remains but, after only 2 treatments with the sodium bicarbonate the plants have really responded well. That aside, we are seeing some early and potentially progressive signs of nute burn. We’ve topped off the res. Twice with just plain water but history suggests that you gotta be real careful with this to avoid having the opposite problem as well. Closely monitoring for signs of other issues as were really close to the finish now and do not wanna fuck this up… er… again 😬. The colours are starting to show nicely on em now too which is making Id on the burn a little more difficult to discern. Can’t wait to get this one done and finished so we can move on to the next adventure. Based on bud development, we should have no issues with cross-pollination as the males in the other tent continue to mature. About 2 weeks there so should be safely at the finish with these girls by then.🤟. Alls well in paradise yall👍😎👍.

Through a full 8 weeks of flower and everything is rounding out very nicely. Not getting the colours we’re hoping for quite as much yet and trich development is pretty much spot on for all of them. We’ll take it another week probably just to get a little more chunk in em where possible. That said; we’re good to chop any time I reckon. They have ripened considerably over the last week and as expected we have some dense, hard, top quality nugs grown to full perfection👌. Only exception is that One of our blueberry’s just up and died in the last 24hours. No idea why or how and we got real lucky that she was juuuuust ripe enough to chop anyway. Surely enough, when I broke down the bucket I found that the drip emitter was clogged with a huge piece of root sludge and the pot was bone dry. So she starved to death essentially. It shouldn’t of even been possible for the root pieces/sludge to make it past 2 pre-filters and through the pump but it managed to find a way🙄. Again, super lucky she was still good to chop. Due to the limited sizes on this grow we’re hand trimming on stem for a longer dry and better terp. Profile. We then sprayed down each stem/bud with sodium bicarbonate to kill off any lingering WPM and rinsed well under tap water. Can’t wait to sample any differences between these and the mothers from the previous run. It’s been such a great test run for the Druid Nutrient system and I dare say it’ll be a sad day when we run out of go-juice. It’s so good I may actually have to use actual money and buy more😒. We originally set out to create a prototype system that would grow small batch runs of multiple strains with a focus on bud quality and maximum strain diversity. Mission fully accomplished here👍👌😎. Given our current stash - we’ll run the next fem cycle on this system for similar results. All is extremely well this week and hope the same for all🤟.

Finishing out at a full 9 weeks of flower for the rest of this cycle. All of em are at various stages of doneness and now nothing left to do but chop em up and see what we got. It was a generally flawless run, save issues with WPM, a bit of nute burn on the northern lights and one leaky pot. The seals cracked on all of em again and we’ll mod the outlets to uniseals next run and see if that is the final missing piece to this hydroponics puzzle😎. The 5ml/L baking soda solution did wonders to keep the WPM in check and it’s also a much cheaper option than h2o2. We’ll draw about 1/2oz per plant when alls said and done - pretty much exactly what we were trying for with this grow of clones. Nothing but top shelf, rock hard bud🤟👍. Really happy to get these strains dialed in. The nutrient system was nothing short of phenomenal too. We could’ve jumped on the nute burn issue with the NL a little earlier but for a first run of this one component system, this is a fantastic result regardless. Proof that you can get a hydro run to scale on a recirculating system that accommodates multiple strains (with the right nute system)🤩🤩🤩. As much as I’m dying to give the whole thing a go with straight fem seeds that’ll have to wait a couple months. We’ve got bigger fish to fry and a new cross to start drilling down on. The layover may be short lived if we end up with multiple fem cuts on that grow. We’ll see what happens. Harvest details will follow shortly and until the next one - thanks to everyone who stopped in for a look👊.
