Nov 17 (day 78): Start of week 12. Looking really well and healthy, fattening buds with lots of trichomes and resin. Pistils are still mostly white, mainly on the lower buds.
Nov 18 (day 79): All looking good. Humidity is keeping within the right range now that I am using the syringe to remove excess water from the tray and not spilling it in the greenhouse 😂
Nov 19 (day 80): Looking good and healthy.
Nov 20 (day 81): Still looking very well and continuing to fatten up her buds. Took more photos with the microscope. First signs of some trichomes beginning to transition to cloudy on the bigger buds, but majority fully clear. Have decided to feed 1L less as I am getting about 1.5L run off in the tray. Fed with 5L of water and week 8 of the nute schedule, microbes and Calmag. Got less run off, around 0.5L.
Nov 21 (day 82): Looking good and healthy.
Nov 22 (day 83): I have now finished drying Ophelia and Wendy, so I am moving Orla and Wanda into the grow tent indoors. It's beginning to get very smelly in the greenhouse with just the two plants and I am nearly out of my second tub of odour control gel. To save buying more, I may as well move them into my new tent with the extractor fan. Also means I can try out my new Spider Farmer 400W light for the last few weeks and see if I can get those buds any fatter 😍 Its also getting really cold and snow is forecast. Temperatures are dropping to below freezing now and the heater is having to work really hard to keep the temperature at 22C even though I have the thermostat set to 24C. Will also save me going out to the greenhouse in freezing temperatures and just down into the cellar instead. She's looking good today, so let's hope the last few weeks in the tent continue to keep her that way.
Nov 23 (day 84): End of week 12. Wow its pretty hot in the tent with that new light! Damn, its hitting 29-30C when the light is on. I have a mini fan in the tent and have now added a tower fan as well, so will see if that makes a difference. Brought her upstairs to water in the sink as its much easier than using the tray and syringe. Turned my back for a second and found my cat chewing on her leaves 😱😰😻 She was clearly fascinated by the scent. Maybe she thought this was a huge catnip plant just for her! Bloody hell, lets hope it doesn't affect her in any way. She didn't ingest any of the leave, so hopefully just a taste 🙀 Fed with 5L of water and week 9 of the nute schedule. Took more photos with the microscope which I can now prop up easily whilst she was in the sink. No shaky hands involved, so got some really nice clear pictures. Trichomes slightly cloudy on a couple of buds, but majority are still fully clear. All in all a good week and lots of bud growth.
NOTE: Nutrient amount is the total amount of nutes given during the week.
It seems like your tricomes are mostly cloudy but you’re the person in the best position to make that visual inspection.
There’s a big distinction between clear and cloudy tricomes.
When they’re milky you’ve reached peak potency. Once they start turning amber potency is declining but flavour profiles will increase during this time.
I personally like to pick my bud when there’s around 20-30 percent amber tricomes.
Anyway there’s really no right or wrong. You’ve got a nice harvest coming your way. Good job 🤙

Nice grow. Close up pics are just beautiful. I'm doing my first grow now too. Nice to see everything went well. They say you're supposed to screw the first grow but then the Internet came and some people learned to read 😂. Have fun with future grows. May they wipe old-world crap right from face of the Earth 🌍. ✌️

Después de agregar microbes se sube mucho el PH y la EC, es normal?
@420DeepGrow, Hi there. I add them first, then balance the PH afterwards. You are right though, the PH and EC jump up when you add the microbes, its pretty much the only time when I have to add PH down so its normal in my experience. As you get to the later weeks and the nutrients are higher, it evens out a bit and you don't see so much of a jump.
