A little weak on flavor, but this strain has a great chance to get frosty AF. One of 5 plants came out a bit funky and few trichomes, but the others were true sticky-icky. I've noticed a bit more flavor on this particular harvest, which was cut about 10 days sooner than the previous run. Nugs are denser, too. Could just be different seeds, but all the good ones were similar 2nd run, excluding the 1 oddball with ugly leaves and weak yield.

This is a great light for early vegetative phase, which will cover nearly 36"x30" for seedlings and young plants. It can also power a 2'x2' flower area.
We'll add more info later...
930watts? This site is just bad at math.. holy fuck.. The whole tracking per plant is retarded. A plant can be any size you grow it, within reason. There's no uniformity there to derive any useful information from grams per plant. Adding all the watts up? ffs, it's just set up so poorly. LoL... i'm not going to bother with any of the harvest stats anymore... they make no sense and i don't want to figure it out for a properly calculated g/watt or g/sq ft, which is useful apples-to-apples information.
So...
All plants have been chopped. 1 plat gelato was chopped few days before. I'm relying on multiple variable instead of just focusing on trichomes, which are only visible on the top layer anyway. Older trichomes, even if less air to cause degradation, are still very likely more mature than what is seen on the surface. After reading a best practices white paper, sticking to 75% rusty stigma, dense feeling nugs and simply starting to see cloudy and amber trichomes. Clear absolutely does not mean devoid of THC. that is an urban myth perpetuated by bro-science. Cloudy is first sign of degradation. The study also showed that peak THC% was 6-7week. Waiting for 9 week increased yield, but THC% was lower. Also, not a fan of couchlock.. I've always felt this was true, yet fought the idea due to inundation of misinformation. I'm going to follow the data and see how i like that for the next few harvests... I won't rule anything out, but i don't think i'll be waiting as long for X% amber or whatever.
Platinum Gelato -- Turned out well except for the funky plant, which is fine but noticeably fewer trichomes under scope. Still gets the hands sticky. The rest is a gooey mess handling. Even placing the buds into rack required a hand washing afterward. Potentially some extra flavor this go? These nugs feel denser than the first harvest, too. As they dry, this becomes more apparent. I may do a PG x PG if i can keep a couple plants stashed somewhere.. space will be tight very soon, so this is unlikely.
Garlic Storm -- fuck... fuck... fuck.. i really wanted more of this plant. It tastes great and packs a punch. It also has a very weak resistance to mold... Any plant near them got it. Any plant removed from its presence recovered. Fucking garlic storm... Had another plant like this from Anesia.. F#1 was a fucking moldy turd bucket that wreaked havoc in my garden too. I think i had a infected-from-seed plant that fucked the rest, but could be wrong. Still harvested a little over an ounce before i got sick of cleaning my scissors after each and every bud, because they all had a little bit except for a few portions of 1 plant -- not spots on leaves, but eminating from center stem and growing outward on 3 of them... which is why i thought it might be systemic.
Anyway... this has also made me rethink breeding project... using a weak plant as the pollen donator may not be best idea. So, we'll see how the CS application goes, then make a decision whether to go on with it or simply be happy with a small harvest to make up for some of the loss here. No signs of wpm. If i can't gain a benefit from starting other breeding projects earlier, I may still go through with it... At the least it'll be worth it just for experience and fewer bumps when it does matter with Blackcherry Pie and Blueberry Muffins
@@NobodysBuds, maybe you want to update mines after such draft ? ;))) No itchy fingers to sort out idiot with too many diaries ? ;))))
You'll love it !!! I have my own mini Auschwitz, just no gas chamber like at yours ;))) but I keep them ready and overcrowded ;))))
Never had i any fluffy with my 3000K, but got it in last run, looked more like outdoors ... High temps and size of plant was only differences ... will run cooler them, 27-30 was sh$t for me, 25-27 always worked fine, but in veg higher temps did magic ..
@@NobodysBuds, i have 3 old 3000k lm301b , 3k k and new lm301h with far reds, its i DIY, but manufacturer written on everything and i see bin, kelvins, diod type and etc written. From all my grow buys, those were the best investment ;)))
Still update air, pots, nutes , etc ... but lights work for 2.5 years and can't see any issue with them, if they will run 5 years, i will be over my preplanned duration.
Only because they run so nice i refused couple free lights offered here.
Hope your buy will be at least 2x better ! ;)
