26+ main budding sites now...
- Flowering and the stretch has begun
- Performed more minor trimming (may need more before week ends)
- Adjusted nutrients for more aggressive flowering
CO2 CHANGES:
-----------------
- Sealed the tent
- Dropped filtered ventilation to minimum
- Added dehumidifier <50%
- Added runoff hose for dehumidifier to dump to fertigation runoff bucket
- Changed fertigation runoff to pump out to waste instead of recycle
- Added CO2 from tank and regulator
- Infusing .5 CuF CO2 for 30 sec then off for 10 mins (monitoring to find balance)
- Accidentally broke/bent one of the cola stems and taped it with duct tape :-(
- Performed a major defoliation now that the flowering has begun and the height is good. This makes me feel sick to my stomach but it's worked well so far. Wish me luck!
Brown straight tips is potassium deficiency. I just grew this strain In coco. Your ph is likely drifting over 6.3 as well because she is really hungry. Feel free to check out my results. Was pretty neat. 👍🌱🌱
@CleverName, yes there is a balance in coco for sure. Nutrition too strong ph goes down. Not strong enough ph goes up. I have grown several plants in it. Once you get dialed In more of what it wants when during grow it helps with fluctuations in levels. You are still looking good 👍
@Roberts, thanks for the feedback! You're right, I had some pH and EC issues. I thought I had enough solution running through the coco on my watering schedule but I hadn't been checking the runoff very frequently due to the way I had the system set up (it was a pain to get just the fresh runoff or assess how much was running through). While addressing that design issue, I found that EC had gone wild and pH was off too. I assume that was due to salts getting trapped in the coco due to insufficient volumes running through. So, I have each schedule running substantially longer now and recirculating back into the reservoir instead of to waste and the numbers are back where they're supposed to be. I'm also checking the numbers going in and coming out daily now. I think she's recovering now (buds are still growing) but some damage has been done. We'll see how it plays out. Learning as I go :-)
I'll check out your grow now too. That should be a helpful reference. Thanks again!
