It's AGAIN time for some DELICIOUS EXPERIMENTATION 🔬
Second year as grower and first time with this strain.
🙋♂️For those that don't know me, I'm a 100% OUTDOOR grower from Italy, great supporter of efficient and simple things; I love experimenting and always learning for my errors and this what I do also when growing 💪
⚙️ For this grow I'm going to use a small greenhouse I purchased this year.
The GREENHOUSE is fully passive. The SUN will be my only source of heat and light, nothing artificial and 0 watts consumption 🌞
Inside there's also a water barrel that should work as heat battery and helping to mitigate night temperatures.
🌱 The candidate for this new diary is a "Gelato Auto" by Weedseedexpress
I would like to thank @Weedseedsexpress for sending me these seeds for free and for supporting my ideas/plans 🙏 I'm really curious to see how this strain reacts to suboptimal weather conditions 🤓 .
❄️ This is a very very very late grow. I basically already know they're going to die, but... what if they don't 👀
I will update the diary once a week and in particular the first day of each week.
"Day 0" will be assigned when the first leaves will come out from the soil.

17/10/2021 - Day 0 - First day of the 1st week.
The journey begins. Babies alive! 😍
Okay, this was definitely the biggest "germination to sprout" period I've ever experienced.
The plan was to germinate just one seed.
I've put it in the paper towel, after 3 days there was just 1mm or less of root out. Put it in the soil and after almost one week still there were no sign of sprouting,
So I decided the germinate two more. Same behavior.
I said: "It's ok, it's too cold, I leave them there, if they want to come out they will"
One week more and they actually came out almost all together 😅
The first one is the one in the small pot since I considered him dead! Now I have to find a decent pot also for him 😅
I'm sooo curious about the outcome of this experiment!
Thanks again to @Weedseedsexpress for giving me the opportunity to try this strain in the worst conditions possible 😂💪

Someone was hungry?
Woke up and one baby disappeared while the elder one had some leaves missing.
Because the cold was not enough 😂😅
Moved the one and a half remaining babies in the greenhouse with the bigger and older sisters.
We go on, without expectations, even less than before 😂

16/01/2022 - Day 91 - First day of the 14th week.
Small one being "eaten" by WPM [see snow video], not much I can do, RIP
Big one still on the grind, confirmed that it's like she has been topped, there are two main stems but she did all by her self.
She is suffering WPM, too, of course, but being a little bigger and stronger I'm removing as much as possible.

⚰️ RIP small one.
🌞 Sun showed up during these last 2 weeks and the "big" lady got brave, stretched as much as she could, and finally started FLOWERING! 🌺
Please, compare with the last update of the diary and appreciate THE STRETCH amount! 😍
She is still suffering WPM, of course, but I keep removing as much as possible.

24/04/2022 - Day 196 - First day of the 28th week.
She is now living in the small greenhouse outside.
She may suffer some cold during nights but this way she can ALSO take as much SUN as she can, from sunrise to sunset.
Also this protects her from rain and wind of these days.
Also starting feeding today, let's see if this can help improving the yield somehow.

08/05/2022 - Day 210 - First day of the 30th week.
Ok, particular situation:
- First of all I have aphids(?) problem
- Second one is that the "big" bud at the top is not growing but lower branches seems to appreciating the nuts
💡Probably the plan is:
- One week flush
- Harvest the "big" ones on top and remove aphids somehow
- So leaving lower branches there free to grow

15/05/2022 - Day 217 - First day of the 31th week.
Flushed and hervested upper part.
Sad part of the story is that I have to throw away most because of mites/aphids (idk what they are) [see pictures]
As planned I left the lower branches, they still full of life and seem to be free from pests.
Real HEAT and SUN has come, time to shine 🌠

From the photos it looks like dirt caught in the buds not pests. Some chunks do look like they resemble aphids a little bit.
If you water and its splashing all around this will happen.
Look up bud washing or try and get in focus pics if it is a pest with legs eyes and it moves.

@KingSalomonsWeed, you are right, I should appreciate the small progress ahah. About winter, I would say probably the coldest day would be -5°C min- 5°C max, on average I would say 0°C min - 10°C max
