Only one photo. At this point feeling great about the Budgrower soil directions. The equipment not so much. All 4 plants look similarly healthy. Watering with 1 tsp each per gal worm tea, clean Kelp, Salmon fert.
Big week. Found my GG4, Blue Dream, Strawberry Bananna and Blackberry over ran my 2 × 2 set up. After watering could not lower humidity. End of week 4 moved into a Gorilla 5x5 with HLG 600R at 60% range at 33". Tips were yellowed in the 2×2 originally. Saturday - Sunday EXPLOSIVE growth. Weekly watering 1 tsp each Alaska Fish Fertilizer, Clean Kelp, Worm tea.
Flowering beginning on Guava Kush shorty. GG4 shorty near end of vegging. Large GG4 showing Purple veins and lower leaves yellowing. Leaves are strong and hard to pull off plant. Some yellow tips without curl. The green of this plant was much darker last week. Back off Nutes or add???? Blue Dream still a bright green, slightly yellowed tips, but now bottom leaves fading in color. Growth not as explosive as with all listed today as week 4. Blackberry which started fast continues to be a slow grower and is now losing yellowing leaves on bottom along with yellow tips. This plant seems weakest of all. Slower flower development from plant that started fastest of all. This plant has always been a bit of a light green. Strawberry/ Banana which started the slowest is looking healthiest of the 4 but is starting to show yellow tips. Yellow tips on all plants are not specific to high or low areas. The Cafe Racer and the Gauva Kush, and one GG4 being late adds (Late seed sprouts, wife wanting own plants) are just bonuses. Cafe Racer looks healthy but the Guava Kush bright green and small. This week's daily feeding was Sun - Tue 1 tsp Bloom City Worm Tea, 2 tsp Bloom City Clean Kelp, 1 tsp Bloom City Alaskan Salmon per gallon of water. Wed 2 tsp Clean Kelp per gal. Thursday based on my most likely poor description of issue told to add Cal Mag and an Organic Bloom Boost. 1 tsp Gen Organics Bio Bloom, .5 tsp Cal Mag, 2 tsp Clean Kelp .2 tsp silica per gallon water. Friday 1 tsp Fish Shit, .5 tsp Cal Mag per gallon. Original Soil .6 gal California Hot soil 2.4 gal Ocean Forrest. Watering until bottom of bag pot is moat and pot does not feel crunchy. Watering is more hand feel than measured. Issues beginning to show not sure which way to go as my experience is not there yet on reading teh tea leaves.
I am starting to see yellow veins or purple veins yellow leaves and tips. Is this Ocean Forrest plus California Super Soil short nutrients? Am I seeing MG deficiencies, potassium deficiency, over water.... you know the typical 1st grow issues. How to correct?
the problem is not big for you. don't worry. there is no deficiency in plants. on the contrary, some have a slight overdose of fertilizer. which manifests itself in whitening and then in drying of the tips of the leaves ..
As for the yellowing of foxes, during the beginning of flowering, it is normal when the very first lower leaves turn yellow. This is mainly due to the fact that they simply do not get light and they do not vip their function .. also during watering they are often given vada and they can burn a little over time .. as for purple stems: this can be caused from low temperatures or even from a chemical overdose of fertilizers .. in any case, the plants wiggle normally. do not overdo it with fertilizers .. it is better to give less than more ..
Not sure how to judge my progress. Flowering looks good.... but could it be better? Plants range from dark green to light green. Cafe Racer continues to surprise as she had a poor beginning. daily water schedule with a good amount of nutes. Hopefully I have not gone from too little to too much.
When in doubt flush it out. Flushed all plants and seeing increased weight and better color. Getting close to reaping the fruits of my labor. GG4 3 gal, Strawberry Banana, Cafe Racer Full TPS daily. GG4 2 gal, Guava Kush 2 gal, Blue Dream and Blackberry Bloom City with TPS Silica Gold, TPS Organic Cal Mag, and TPS Signal Daily with Humic acid once a week. Round 2 will implement continuous improvement. Suggestions?????
Looks like plants will be ready over different intervals. All have greened up from previous week. Still seeing burnt tips on Blue Dream Auto and Guava Kush Auto. A miscalculation early in the week on the Bloom City living series. A bit over on Humic Acid and Salmon. GG4 in the small pot stayed good. All were watered with only worm tea and Kelp through the week to clean a bit. Cafe Racer Auto slowing on water intake and is now only receiving worm tea/ kelp water. Leaves look like a Coleous. Seems will be ready soon. Blue Dream Auto although having some brown tips keeps packing on weight. Much greener than last week. Blackberry Auto and Guava Kush Auto which appeared to be over watered and over fed to a point of no return two weeks ago actually are making a come pack and even adding some weight. They will still be small but am happy to see the ability to get a plant back to health. GG4 auto plants and the Strawberry Banana Auto continue to take anything you throw at them just keep adding weight and Trichomes. The GG4 Auto 3 gal pot, Strawberry Banana Auto and Cafe Racer Auto all follow full TPS nutrient schedule. It's a light daily mix. Hard to over do. All others use Bloom City Living Soil. These mixes can be hot but adjusted right work well. Go light on the Bloom City!!!
Cafe Racer Auto a day or two away from harvest a couple of amber trichomes about 50% still clear. Leaves fading fast. Only Worm tea/ Kelp / Fish Shit for all plants other than Blue Dream Auto, and the 2 gallon pots Auto Guava Kush and Auto Gorilla Glue. 11/20 leaves finally beginning to fade on the 3 gallon pot Auto Gorilla Glue and Auto Strawberry Banana. Auto Blackberry plant continues to quickly add weight in spite of a poor start. Auto Guava Kush and Gorilla Glue leaves showing some yellow but still growing. Gnats maybe? seeing a few but not a lot. Maybe the swarm is below.....
All plants now water only. Blue Dream Auto and Blackberry Auto still gaining weight. Probably a week or two away. Strawberry Banana Auto and the GG4 in the 2 gallon pot are only days off.
Blue Dream Auto, Blackberry and Guava Kush Auto still showing growth and white pistils. Green leaves are few at this point. Strawberry Banana is almost leafless but Trichomes being stubborn and not clouding up. Would really like to harvest as 2nd grow is very advanced already.
Getting to the end. Since I am writing this late it is a week away from the end for grow 1. Still have a small bottom portion of Blackberry Auto finishing some slow to mature low buds. Estimate final weight from my 1st grow to be between 10 and 12 dry ounces of bud.
