Planted the seeds directly in the medium and watered. Left in dark conditions for a couple of days but mood started coming up, so I turned the LED light on and after two days the plants came up. I used two spoons of carbon dioxide diluted in a cup of water and sprays the mold for two day, it was gone after 3 days.

I started giving nutrients too early, in fact I started having signs of nut burns early in week 2.

At this stage I realised they had nut burns and bought an EC meter. The tap water at home has 0.75 EC which is crazy high. Checked the run-off and was something like 1.2 EC, so I flushed the plants with just water, bought my self deionised water and started the fertilisation schedule all over.

This week I started some LTS only on 3 girls and I left one as a control group to compare differences in yield in the end.

This weeks I have decided to do some defoliation as the plants were very bushy and there were signs of beginning of flowering. This is my first time growing in coco, and also growing autos. In general this is my second time growing cannabis at all in my life, so I’m still learning new tricks. I did defoliate a little and adjusted the LST. Next week I will start introducing the flower booster and let’s see.

I do not understand why 3 of my plants look like are not flowering properly. They steel have light green bud sites and the main cola did not stretch. You can see the difference of these plants compared to the only one which is flowering properly. In fact, only one plant had a proper stretch of the main cola and leaves that are now dark green, I can see pollen starting to grow on the leaves too. I do not know what is going on to be honest, I am quite confused because all the plants received the same treatment. Also, the plants are very small with the tallest being around 35 cm. This week is also becoming hard to manage humidity in the tent, I am now expecting a slightly bigger dehumidifier hoping that it will help. Since winter is coming and it harder to keep the tent warmer, I did a major insulation work on Sunday. I wrapped the bottom and the first half of the tent with insulation thermal wrap which is working on keeping the temperature temperature warm. Please any advice would be highly appreciated.

Managed to keep humidity at lower levels thanks to adding two mini dehumidifiers. Although, the space in the tent is quite tight at the moment, I will use 9l pots next time 😉. Ps: one plant (the one from the video and the single one in the picture) it’s probably not HulkBerry Automatic, I think that Royals Queen Seeds sent me one wrong seed in the package. The plant is completely different from the others 🤷‍♂️🏼.

Hi there Fattorello, In coco, you only need to flush a maximum of one week, anything more than this will cause problems for your final product and your plant. Careful who you listen to my friend... Hope this helps ! 🚀

Seems that flowers are growing well, but one plants is a bit behind compared to the others. It could be because I did not apply LST to that girl🤔🤔. Last sprint with the fertilisers and then I will flush for one week/10 days with plain water to get ready for harvesting😊.

Hello, I hope some more experience grower would be able to give me a good advice. I’m in week 9 and planning to harvest at the end of week 11. Do you think that defoliating my girls would be a good idea? Should I take all big fan leaves? 🤔

Hey there Fattorello, when you defoliate, for the plant it's a high stress technique, so what will happen if the plant will lose leafs? it will make more, but if it's in flower it wont make normal leafs only it will make leafs inside the buds. this will give you leafy buds . it's much better not to defoliate or do any HST during flower. Hope this helps ! 🚀

Hello guys, do you think I’m good to start flushing the plants for like 1 week or 10 days and then harvest? Here are some video of how tricomes look like, sorry for the poor quality, I do not have professional equipment . Thank you 🙏🏽

If you don't have a magnifier i give you one tips. Use your smartphone and make a photo with macro mode. Like this you can zoom and see how your trichomes are. Good luck. Hope it will help you.

Can I do partial harvesting of the flowers that are ready and leave the other to ripe on the plants for longer? If yes, how should I proceed with flushing the substrate with plain water? I need to get rid of the salts before harvesting, even if harvesting partially. Please help.

Hello Fattorello90 yes you can harvest partially and let the rest longer. You need to flush before this and for brake the salts you can use an additive like florakleen or enzyme+ etc... You use it one or two times and then just clean water. Good luck. Bye

Hey guys, can anyone tell me what is happening with this plant? It’s turning yellow with dark spots on some leaves. I gave the same quantity of nutrients as the other plants but she is having some deficiency for some reason. Any idea what nutrient it’s needing?

Hi there Fattorello, so basically in coco you always need NPK , calmag, and additives, right now you have NPK and additives, but no cal mag. When you have a heavy light schedule the plant needs more Mg. So that's why you're seeing Mg deficiency like the yellowing of the serrated edges of the leafs. So what you want to do is reduce your light schedule and add cal mag. if you do this the problem will stop spreading, it's pretty severe so it will take a full 10 days maybe more to fully recover. Hope this helps ! 🚀

I think I will not use coco anymore, I’m going crazy as every plant is expressing a different problem with nutrition. Although the dosage is always the same, one plant has nut burns and another one has magnesium deficiency 🤷‍♂️🏼😩. I will go for soil and perlite for the next grow. Anyways, we are almost at the end of our cycle, I will soon start flushing with plain water and hopefully I will harvest at the end of week 11 😊.

What are the environmental conditions for drying cannabis? Temperature, humidity, and how much light can I afford to have on the flowers? I have one of those hanging net to use, can I put it in my bedroom or any room in my house? I may still need my grow tent for the others.

A good cures goes for 7 plus days . You want to slow cure as long as possible can cure in your closet or cabinet or even a big cardboard box(I’ve used homdepot hanger moving box an worked great) so you can utilize your tent it just be smelly. Make sure to use your humidifier to get RH 55-65 me personally aim for 62% on 7-9 day dry. With a 6in fan for air movement but not directly at the buds or you will get uneven dry. On the light part very minimal direct light, can turn lights on to check out buds. If you decide to use the basket make sure you flip the buds half way through cure to avoid one sided flat bud. Happy growing an enjoy the harvest looks like some killer buds! 🤙

I like my conditions to be 20deg and about 50% rh. I try not to dry them to fast and make it take week. Also best off in a dark place.

I had a lot of fun growing this plants, and at the same time a lot of challenges to overcome. Things like nutrient deficiencies, maintaining environmental conditions optimal, and find the right compromise of nutrients dosage. It has definitely served me as a learning experience. I also wrote a diary with all the dosages of nutrients used on each feeding day, and my observations about the plants responses, it will be useful for next cycle. I will see you in the next cycle my growmie friends, and I wish you all a good Christmas 🌱🎅🏾🎄💚
