Germination
Germination was a combination of glass of water 14 hours, paper towel 12 hours then into Happy Frog soil. All were in water starting October 30 with sprouting spread over November 1 - 3. Put an extra Bruce Banner and Blue Dream In water November 8 and they sprouted November 10 in Happy Frog Soil. Germination light is a Root Farm 45 watt with partially covered pint starter containers.

Transplant week. Some plants in 5 gallon pots with Ocean Forrest or Coast Of Maine Stonington. All 3 gallon pot plants in Ocean Forest. Will use the Coast Of Maine dry product with their soil. Will stay with TPS and Bloom City with the Ocean Forrest. The Strawberry Banana Auto leaves have been twisted from the start. Will wait it out and see. Bruce Banner Auto, Strawberry Banana Auto and Runtz Auto vegging under 2 Root Farm 45 watt surrounded by Mylar Whole Foods bags. Others vegging under Mars Hydro TS1000. Plants under Root Farm doing every bit as good as those under the TS1000. It is a surprisingly good light for early vegging. Watering every few days adding Fish Shit, Worm Tea and Clean Kelp.

Tried LST training on a 4 plants, Runtz Auto, Sour Maui Auto, Gorilla Cookies auto and Cafe Racer Auto. All plants gaining size rapidly. Bruce Banner Auto did not seem happy under the big light and was moved back to smaller light along with a light feed of organic liquids from Bloom City. Gorilla Cookies Auto and Hawaiian Fire Auto added in some dry nutrient as nutrient depletion hit fast and hard on my first grow. Strawberry Banana Auto may not ever turn into a full plant as leaves are majorly twisted and some new growth is tracking the same. This plant looks like a genetic nightmare. Not so impressed with Strawberry Banana Auto on second grow. Tough to germinate and now a deformed plant.

What is with these leaves on this Strawberry Banana Auto? Ever since Cotyledon leaves had a difficult release from seed all leaves look deformed. The only plant of 9 to perform poor. Been waiting for a bounce back but not so sure it end up correct. Is this plant just a non-keeper

Just looks like you’ve got yourself a mutant plant, you never know if you flower her you might get some interesting bud. But I would definitely say she a mutant. It happens every now and then. In my last run my gorilla zkittles did the same thing… still yielded. Good luck 💪

Bruce Banner Auto still wilted and stunted. a real shame as she started strong. Either does not like the Coast Of Maine Soil (doubtful as 8 other plants do) or when moved from 15 watt lighting to 600 watt lighting it has been stressed ever since. Strawberry Banana which had malformed fan leaves is looking much better this week. LST training and removing bad leaves slowly seems to have turned the plant to a positive. Flowering is under way on most plants. Hawaiian Fire just about to flip. Bruce Banner Auto and the young Blue Dream Auto and young Bruce Banner Auto not mature enough yet.

3 plants showing ill effects of an overwater. Need to pay attention on 3 way meter as to what is being measured. Leaf discolor on both Cafe Racer Auto and Hawaiian Fire Auto but still moving along. All others in the fast grow stage. TPS nutrient line working very well on 3 gallon pots. Strawberry Banana Auto which was showing signs of being a loss early with mutated leaves is especially strong with the TPS. The Hawaiian Fire Auto leaves yellowing baffles me. This is a Coast Of Maine soil and dry nutrient organic grow following the same routine as Gorilla Cookies Auto and Sour Maui Auto. This plant should neither be deficient or overfed. The odd part is the leaves became blotchy and are now staying the same without the yellow advancing or tips getting burned. One Bruce Banner Auto continues to look wilted still with less water. The Bruce Banner Auto under the Mars Hydro TS1000 is moving along fine but far slower in maturing than the Blue Dream Auto planted at the same time. The difference is the Blue Dream Auto is under the HLG lighting. Although different stains both are strong growing Sativas that should track similar.

Runtz Auto, Strawberry Banana Auto, Blue Dream Auto and Bruce Banner all in 3 gallon pots using TPS nutrients all continue healthy growth. 5 gallon pot plants fed following a Coast of Maine Stonington soil and nutrients are a mixed bag. Cafe Racer Auto leaves very yellow with small Brown spots. Could this plant already be finishing up? It seems too soon. The Cafe Racer Auto on the first grow was harvested in 74 days. Either way it is too far into the grow for drastic action. it will be what it will be. Gorilla Cookie Auto has grown few leaves almost like an auto lollipopping plant. Hawaiian Fire Auto had a serious Magnesium issue and is recovered but ugly now. The Bruce Banner under the TS 1000 is growing very healthy in the Stonington though. Both Bruce Banner plants seriously behind in development compared to plants potted at the same time.

Nothing real special this week. Plants keep moving along with Gorilla Cookies Auto seeming close to done. She never developed big time and the remaining leaves not in great shape. Cafe Racer Auto still looks bad but is growing. Both Bruce Banner Auto plants do not seem to want to flower. Both are healthy and green and growing like crazy. These will be 15 week plants easily if not more. The long development will prevent me from implementing UV light on this round. There will be far too much variance in plants finishing.

2 Bruce Banner Auto plants from Rocket seeds. One plant sprouted 66 days ago and the other 59 days. All other autos planted at same time close to finished. What is taking these so long to flower? Did I possibly receive photo period seeds?

Could be, or maybe not. In my last run one from 17 autos started to flower on week 9 only, sometimes it takes ages, but sometimes it needs small kick, try to give 15 hours of day, don't drop to 12 , if after week no result, most prob it's photoperiods. I had semi autos, some needed 20 hours + of light to keep in veg, one wanted 15 just to start flowering. You can bring lights back to 18 slowly after if she responds or keep up with 15. Hope it's not photos, my lateflowering autos were insane by weight, last one - 240 g in soil ;) Good luck !

you got photoperiod genetics, not the worst, but not what your expecting. can happen when some cross pollinating occurred that they "breeder" don't know about before packaging. or it was miss-picked. Autoflower is recessive in genetic markings. Autos will flower no mater the light schedule, 18/6 or 20/4 are the top two best options followed by 24/0, so if its not showing sex or preflower its photo. Let the breeder know and maybe they will offer a solution, a good breeder should keep their customers happy and contempt, plus seeds cost next to nothing. Best of luck

it's possible that you got a photo period, or possibly the photo genetics are just stronger in that particular seed. did you switch to 12/12?

Harvested Gorilla Cookies this week at day 66. No photos as the maybe .5 oz not worth showing. A very poor result. This one never really got started. Cafe Racer Auto is a definite never again grow. Out of 5 seeds 2 germinated. The first grow was zero bud density and this grow, the photo speaks for itself. Runtz Auto Trichomes very close along with having some very nicely formed buds. I guess less than a week. Although Blue Dream Auto still looks a bit immature in the pistils its fading fast and should be ready soon also. Strawberry Banana Auto also showing a good deal of cloudy Trichomes. This one is close too. Sour Maui Auto still packing on weight with only a few Trichomes clouding. Buds look big and dense. Hawaiian Fire Auto in spite of being smoked with an overwater that turned into a MG deficiency is going to produce some nice, tight, however smallish buds. Oh, what could have been on this one. Both Bruce Banner, what was purchased as Auto are turning out to be photo period plants. Not a total disaster as once the Autos are done, I will flower these two photos. Not ideal as hitting the flowering Autos with UV can't be done with the photos still vegging. As far as which growing method was best between organic dry and TPS bottles, the jury is still out. Overall, the Auto's in 3-gallon pots which were on the TPS system produced completely trouble free with good results. Runtz Auto, Strawberry Banana Auto, and Blue Dream Auto will all produce nicely. The dry Coast Of Maine nutrient schedule looks like the Sour Maui Auto will have excellent results. The Hawaiian Fire Auto will do OK. The Cafe Racer Auto and The Gorilla Cookies Auto however, were never able to recover from an over water. The Bruce Banner using the Coast Of Maine looks very healthy even with an attempt to feed flowering nutrients in week 5. Going forward 3-gallon pots and bottled nutrients looks to be efficient enough on Autos. The additional 2 gallons of soil did not drive better results.

This plant looked like a mutant with poorly formed leaves early in the veg cycle. Well.... it turned around and has some good-sized buds. If the density is there grow 2 should outweigh grow 1. This is an excellent strain from all angles. It grows strong, smells great but most of all produces a strong, great tasting smooth smoke. Weight to be determined after drying is complete.

At the end of the veg cycle this was looking like it was going to be a monster. An overwater at the worst time possible when transitioning to flower created an MG issue that stunted the plant. 32.95 grams of dry popcorn. This is on the grower and not the strain. An early sample shows promise. Popcorn is not always pretty but is still good smoke in many cases. Bud density is decent for a plant that was treated poorly. I would not call her recovery fantastic but decent. Early in the cure the smell is leaning berry.

Blue Dream has been on favorite strain of mine since spending time in Colorado. This plant started strong and stayed strong through the grow. No issues with water or nutrient. However, the change from the first grow of adding Power Si in my nutrients seemed to have a negative impact on the stretch. My first Blue Dream Auto, had watering issues, was flushed , yellowing leaf tips from mid flower to harvest. Yet my 1st grow with many problems out produced grow two which only added Power Si to the equation. 1st grow and second grow on this strain both disappointed from the density side. Too much light, not enough nutrient? This round showed improvement in density but went backward in overall yield. Will a 3rd time be a charm? What do I need to get more density rather than only visual size?

My end result on this plant surprised me in a negative way. This plant was healthy end to end with large, what appeared to be well developed buds. The plant did however stay very short end to end. Each branch was a bud from end to end with LST training. With each branch being 8-12" long. Although there is plenty of frosty Trichomes, the density of the buds is very poor. For my next grow I may cut back on the Silica.

My best yielding plant yet. Great smell with lots of Orange color. I anticipate a very good smoke. The Coast of Maine product, which I struggled with on 3 other plants, was great for this plant. True dry weight remains to be seen.

I believe it has been three weeks on an update for these Bruce Banner plants that were planted with the idea that they were Auto Flowers. However, after their 7 sisters have been harvested and in cure, these girls are still in veg stage. It has been 11 days since they went on the 12/ 12 switch over, and they have not started to flower. Not a bad thing as my SCROG screens still have room to fill. The larger plant now in a 7 gallon pot was transplanted from a 3 gallon pot just before the switch to the 12/12 light cycle. I am actually very happy these seeds ended up being photo period seeds instead of the purchased auto seeds. The irony here being of the 9 plants I cycled on this grow only two were the same strain. Oddly enough the one strain I chose two run two of both ended up being photo. Liking the photo period experience a bit better than the manic experience of growing Autos. Especially liking the P CSROG system. Perfect bolt on to my 7 gallon square pots. Sturdy, adaptable, and strong.

Finally seeing flowering activity!!! These characters really doing well on the Coast of Maine dry along with some Bloom County nutes to cloud the daily water. The screens are close to fuIl with a lot of flower sites. I sure hope I can avoid the Cal Mag issues that hit me on about 50 % of my Auto's. Already adding Cal - Mag slowly.....

10 days into flowering with progress looking good. The plant in the 7 gallon pot that was replanted just before flowering looks especially good. The plant in the 5 gallon pot has been a lighter green from the start but there are some leaves clawing down. Seems to want more nitrogen. However, I have guessed this wrong before at the veg to flower transition.

Bruce Banner in 5 gallon pot had been showing some downward clawing and leaf discoloration. Rather than commiserate over cause, I went with the when in doubt flush it out mentality. This plant was flushed with 15 gallons of PH'd water. No need for water for the 3 days since. Plant did not wilt at all from the flush. The Bruce Banner in the 7 gallon pot is not developing flowers as fast as the plant in the 5 gallon pot. This plant is also a just a bit stretchy.

Not much to say as an update to the previous week. Both plants continue to develop in flowering. I would like to see larger buds on the plant in the 7 gallon pot and a deeper green on the plant in the 5 gallon pot, however 5 weeks into the flowering cycle leaves little time to change the course of these plants. Both will produce well but still trying to get to a near perfect grow as a goal.

Midway through week 6 of flowering and I woke up concerned that my plants were looking poorly. Especially the plant in the 5 gallon pot. Both are losing leaves and color. After commiserating whether another flush was needed, if PH was off or any other of a myriad of potential issues that cause dying leaves and color loss, I finally pulled out my loop. The plant in the 5 gallon pot is not problematic. It is just in is it's final stage with a few cloudy Trichomes and an amber here and there. The plant in the7 gallon is just a bit behind the 5 gallon plant. I would suspect the coloration to also be be normal here. The buds on the 7 gallon plant are not looking like they will be large. They did not fill out as well as on the other plant. Overall not sure I am tracking to harvest being double an autoflower with a much larger time investment.

Disappointing harvest weights. Lots of popcorn and density is so so. Neither plant exceeded 3 oz. In the end the additional time used did not produce than 2 auto flower cycles. Also odd is that both plants seem to be different strains as the smell and color is completely different. As it is these seeds were purchased as Autoflower seeds that turned out to be photo period. Will try Fox Farm nutrients on my next photoperiod grow.
