Trying this again... A rogue fly trap destroyed my first seedling, so I had to restart the Wedding Cheesecake!
It is taking off and looking good so far and just getting into the seedling phase this week.
Tent has been dialed in with a mini humidifier and heater + 2-3 min. exhaust timer on the fan.
Seedling is getting bigger and starting to get more leaves. Still spray bottle watering around 3x the diameter to encourage root growth. Towards the end of the week I gave it a real watering with the other girls. Didn't bother switching the mix, so it got some low dose Fox Farm nutes and doesn't seem bothered at all.
Leaves are doing something funky in a few spots. Probably just reacting to the nutes given so early on. Doesn't seem to be effecting the growth, still getting new leaves each day. Started bottom watering last week. LST for a few days got it mostly centered in the pot as well.
Broke one of the branches while taking off an LST clip. It has bounced back fine and is starting to flower. Getting tall too! I jacked up the nutrients at the end of the week and moved her into a brand new 4'x4' tent with an extra light.
Getting tall and opening up some now. Expecting the hairs to start popping in more over the next week. Trying to offset watering a bit but she is sucking it up with no problems.
This girl was looking rough for a few days. I couldn't figure out if it was my new light, root rot, or some kind of deficiency. Her leaves looked limp and clawed. After letting the pot dry out a bit I hit her with two gallons of Fox Farm Bush Doctor Sledgehammer to clean up the root system and defoliated a bit too. As you can see she bounced back beautifully and has now gone into full bloom.
She is really bouncing back from whatever was stressing her out the last few weeks. I think the switch to the bigger light really threw her for a loop, but it seems like her leaves are happier and feeding has resumed normally. It's getting some nice pistils already too! Obviously the stretching is a bit much.... We'll see how it goes eh?
@fast_buds_jessie, Thanks for checking out my diary, Jessie. This was a fun grow! I'm looking forward to running some more Fast Buds stuff in the future.
