Well the gold leaf in the back hermed so she got the chop. The blue dream did not like the cha ching and got a little seared so had to rebalance nutes and reconfigure an EC of 2.0 give or take. Other than that nugs keep getting denser and some of the branches are starting to bend over due to the weight. At week 5 not bad. Only a few of the plants pistols are starting to turn and may add another week of flowering.
Doing the same phenos as you right now in the same week. Very similar however ive scrogged and filled out a 5x5. Definitely helped with the good leaf stretch. So far i like the gold leaf more than the others. Getting more frost, nug development and stem thickness. Yours look awesome though 💪🏼
Well can’t see the floor anymore and it’s time to give them a mass overhaul before it’s too late. Took off probably a good 50-60% of their foliage and clipped any low hanging branches that weren’t getting any light or were just plain week. I know heavy defoliation in flowering is a hot debate and I don’t know if this makes a difference or not or if it’s damaging to the harvest. I use this technique 1. Because it stunts the stretch on large fems and sativas 2. I don’t like chancing microclimates for mold to grow. It’s worked in the past and the buds come out nice and dense. So far lots of bud sites and surprisingly one of the blue dreams has a smell.
Howdy. Nice grow man.. sucks about gold leaf, I ran about a dozen ILGM strains and herms were a consistent trait.. as well as crazy pheno variation.. for $15-20 a seed it’s unacceptable to me. Anyways.. I loved the blue dream smoke. Looking to grow it again soon but from another breeder
