I was going to run a Tastebudz Peanut Butter Cookies plant this run but that seed was a dud so I went with this strain instead. Germinated after 3 days in wet paper towels. Planted in a 1 gallon fabric pot filled with FFOF and 25% perlite with some dynomyco mycorrhizae. Really looking forward to this run, this plant is going to be going alongside a Kosher Kush photo.

Not much to add this week, she has a couple sets of leaves now and is about to start taking off in growth soon. Hoping she’s not too far behind the Kosher Kush plant she’s sharing a tent with.

So far so good with this girl. She’s really starting to grow fast now, it’s almost about the same height as the kosher kush plant that she’s sharing a tent with and that one started a week earlier. Probably going to top her once this week now that she has a few nodes. I started a couple of new seeds from square one genetics that will join these two in the tent until the autos in the attic finish out. Really excited for those strains so be on the lookout for those diaries soon!

This girl is really hitting her stride now. There’s been a lot of growth over the last week. I topped her on Tuesday night so she’s a little stressed and droopy but the lower branches shot up overnight. I did accidentally pinch off a bit of the small tops at the node where I topped it so I’m not sure how that’s going to end up but we’ll see. I’ve been supplementing with some cal mag every few waterings but otherwise both plants are really thriving off the FFOF soil. I should probably hit them with some recharge next watering, it’s been a couple of weeks since I last used it and I want the soil biology to be thriving when I flip to flower since I’m trying to use mainly organic inputs for this grow and minimize the bottle feeding. I’m really digging the structure of this one, the top leaves aren’t as big as they are on the Kosher Kush plant she’s sharing a tent with so the lower bud sites are getting enough light without crowding so badly. Once she bounces back from the topping I’m going to repot her and hopefully flip these two plants to flower next weekend. Hopefully by that time I can move the BBC and Nana Glue seedlings up to the attic tent while the Northern Lights auto up there finishes out. I could veg these two a bit longer to fill out the canopy a bit more but I’m trying to time it so they finish and are dry by the time I need to go out of town for a week in April.

Repotted this girl into a 5 gallon fabric pot this week and had zero transplant shock and she’s really thriving. Loving the structure of this plant and how easy it is to train. It bends so easy I’m afraid I might’ve brought the main top out too far too early. I’m going to have to flip to flower soon because of how stretchy she is and the limited height in this tent. Super bummed that I only had this one seed for this strain because I have a feeling I’m going to like this plant a lot but I’m going to take some cuts for sure before flipping. I was planning to flip to 12-12 this weekend but I’m thinking I’ll give it a few more days to fill out.

This girl is doing great. It’s not as compact as the Kosher Kush plant that’s sharing the tent and all the tops have pretty good access to light. I topped the tallest top to level out the canopy and because I wanted to take a clone. I’ve defoliated a bit but honestly barely need to with the structure of this plant. I’m moving the two square one genetics girls up to the attic tomorrow and then this plant and the Kosher kush plant are getting flipped to flower this weekend.

This girl is thriving, I flipped to 12-12 on Saturday and she’s already stretching at a crazy rate. This one is a week younger than the other plant in the tent and it’s taller by a couple of inches already. I accidentally snapped one of the branches while training but it didn’t fully break so I taped it together and it seems to be healing. I’m really hoping I didn’t veg the plant for too long, at the rate it’s stretching I won’t be surprised if it triples in height before it’s all said and done. Overall I’m loving how this grow is going. These are probably the healthiest plants I’ve grown to date so I’m hoping I can maintain that through flower. The stem rub on this plant is really odd though, it almost smells like wet ash. Hopefully that’s not indicative of how the buds will smell and taste. Hoping to see some more signs of flower by this time next week. She’s popping pistils at the top nodes so I assume they’ll start showing up throughout the rest of the plant soon.

Holy stretch Batman this plant is going absolutely bananas, it’s growing an inch or two every day and is now towering over the Kosher Kush plant. Even with that one elevated ~4 inches off the ground, the tallest tops on this plant are a solid couple of inches taller than that plant. I’m hoping the stretching stops soon bc I’m running out of height. The top sites are definitely starting to get that flower look so I think the end is near. Im about 10 days into 12-12 so I’m hoping she slows down within another week or so. The plant is healthy as a horse too. I’ve only really been adding some cal mag to the watering since our tap water seems to be lacking. Other than that the FFOF has done most of the heavy lifting. Next week will mark ~30 days since transplant so I’ll do my first top dress with some build a flower then. I’ve been increasing the light too and I’m running at about 80% and will keep dialing it up day by day until I’m at 100%.

This plant is doing great. The stretch finally seems to have slowed. I love the structure of the plant, it’s pretty leggy but it doesn’t have a ton of foliage so the light penetration is great. I top dressed with some build a flower and a bit of craft blend. Other than that it’s just been getting tap water with calmag. Starting to see some trichomes developing on the sugar leaves, hoping to see some bud development next week.

This girl is kicking ass, she’s done stretching and really starting to develop flowers and the sugar leaves are starting to get covered with trichomes. I think this might be my favorite plant that I’ve grown and really glad I took a clone that I’m trying to keep as a bonsai mom. The pictures don’t do it justice, it’s such a rich deep green, especially next to the kosher kush plant that actually looks better in pictures than it does in person. Hoping to get some good bud development this week and I’m hoping the foliage just keeps getting darker and starts taking on some purple hues like I’ve seen in some of the photos online.

I’m loving this plant more every week. The pictures don’t do it justice, it’s such a dark green and it’s getting some purple hues around the margins. It’s almost opalescent in that it’s green from some angles but purple from others. It’s also been super healthy, living off the FFOG, craft blend, and build a flower. She got another top dress because the lower leaves are starting to look hungry and watered in a small amount of big bloom to help address the issue a bit now since the top dress won’t be immediately available. I don’t think she’s going to be a huge yielder but I think I’ll get a good amount to dense golf ball sized buds. I just have a feeling this is going to be a great strain and I’m very glad I have a thriving clone so I can keep her around.

This girl is easily the my favorite of the three I have growing right now. She’s not going to be a massive yielder but the buds look great they’re dense and compact like golf balls. The pictures don’t do it justice but it’s a gorgeous plant, it seems to be getting more purple every day. The top buds seem to be about as big as they’re going to get and I can see the lower buds starting to bulk up now. I’ve just been giving her water that’s been aerated for ~24 hours with some cal mag and molasses pH’d to 6.5. The craft blend and build a flower are doing the heavy lifting. We’re over halfway there now and seem to just be coasting now.

Another good week. This girl is still kicking ass. She’s starting to fade/senesce a bit earlier than I anticipated and the colors are absolutely beautiful but it’s a bit earlier than I anticipated so I made a compost tea with some build a flower, worm castings, and craft blend. I’ll probably feed her one more time with either a nutrient tea or just some big bloom or something, then let her run without any added nutrients for the last couple of weeks while she finishes out. I scoped some of the trichomes last night and we’re in a good spot. I’m seeing mostly cloudy heads so she’s right on track I think. Going to let her go a bit longer to let the lowers develop a bit more. Getting close to the finish line.

Don’t mind me, I’m just losing my fucking mind over how beautiful this plant is. It’s not going to be a massive yield but Jesus is she pretty. The fall colors are coming in hard and she’s losing leaves but we’re in the home stretch. I’m going to let her go as long as I can keep her alive. It’s supposed to be a 9-10 week strain and based on the trichomes I think that’s what she’ll take but if I keep losing leaves at the rate that I am it might not quite make it that long. The trichs on the buds are mostly cloudy though so it’s not the end of the world if she comes down a bit early. That would actually work out great bc I’d love to bring the nana glue from the attic down before it gets too much warmer. There might be one more post next week, if not I’ll update you guys after the harvest. Thanks for following along, this grow has been a delight and I can’t wait to run a clone next round.

Overall I loved this grow. The plant was beautiful, the buds are rock solid, they smell great, and the plant was healthy as a horse. Downside is it that it’s not massive in the yield department, but I’m a home grower for personal use so I’m not looking for pounds of flower. She did senesce a bit earlier than I expected so she got harvested at ~8 and a half weeks but the trichs looked ready enough to me — cloudy with a bit of amber. Ideally I would’ve let her go maybe a week longer to get a bit more amber but when she’s telling you she’s done sometimes you just have to listen. I kept some clones and have a mom if she turns out to be stellar once she cures. On the fence about whether I’ll run the clones again next round. I was hoping the effects would be more gg4 than gsc but it seems to be the opposite from the text bud I smoked, but who knows, after a bit of a cure that could change that.
