Glass of water for 24 hours, then into a wet paper towel for another 24 hours, then into a 3 gallon pot for the rest of the grow. Simple (and lots of credit to the genetics of course) but I get about a 90% germ rate so far, in my young growing life. 😁

Trained with garden staples, so I set them up, let the branches/shoots turn up and pull up the stakes then I push them down with a little more force the 2nd day. After that I leave them and just leaf tuck, almost daily until I'm ready to defol in wks 7-8.

Responded really well to topping and training. 6 big shoots around the outer ring, 4-6 getting lots of light in the center... Just enjoying the stretch (this WG is already as tall as heat-stunted, but still full grown Blue Dream and Gorilla Cookies right next to it) Amazing structure- can't wait to see how she stacks! 😍

Stretching nicely, but I'm still wondering why all my autos top out at 14-18in max. It's consistent across multiple strains so for this WG I lifted the light in week 4 a couple inches and lowered it from 100 to 90%. I don't want to blame the light, now that I have 400w in a 3x3 and the temps and humidity have been normal as well so I don't know. I just don't see the stretch in mid-to-late veg. My Double Grapes were normal, and I don't expect a bushy indica like CDLC to get super tall but something's off. More nutes sooner? I've had flawless grows with this system but when every strain stops at 14-16" iIt's enough to make me experiment next run with something else (I'm trying amended soil concentrate in 1 pot, and topping with D2E amendments in another when I run two Barney's Farm Runtz in Feb.). If you've got any advice, or information that would help PLEASE leave a comment. I can google my way to predicting and fixing problems that are typical, but I've struggled to find reliable info about this. They're not stunted, just short. You can see my nutrient info here, which was the same for the Double Grape (which would've been perfect if I had another light, and chopped 2 weeks later). Thanks for stopping by and good luck growing!

Trouble in paradise this week. Came out to find leaves with brown spots, yellowing. I think it's Cal/Mag and maybe Nitrogen deficiencies but more generally I think I've got to feed these plants more (every watering in flower- that's my guess) now that I have double the lights and I'm running them 24/7. If it gets any worse, I may flush, or add some liquid kelp fertilizer. Whatever works, it still raises questions about what was lacking about my feeding schedule, why my plants were usually pretty short, and under-performing. I've got a couple of Gorilla Cookies and a Blue Dream (all autos) showing the same yellowing and crispy-ness later in flower. In 2 weeks I'm stepping away from liquid nutes completely. I'm going with Down To Earth's line, amending the soil with Worm Castings, Perlite, etc. and I'm expecting to top dress maybe 3 times. If anyone has any advice about the brown spots, and yellowing please advise! I upped the Cal/Mag and added a bloom booster with a good amount of P and K right away. I'll try feeding her every water now (at the end of Week 7/start of Week 8), plus Bloom Booster. Really hope I'm not slowing her down, she was growing so well up to this week.

I'm guessing the yellowing and brown spots (in Wk 8 pics) are related to Cal/Mag and maybe a lack of N? Would love some advice from someone who's seen this before Thanks! I'm seeing this in all my grows to some degree- using FF trio and FFOF but not for much longer

I think it looks fine man. There's gonna be some fat budded colas. It's alright if one or two of the lower leaves die as long as the buds and their leaves look healthy. If you see it progressing up to other leaves you know you need to do something though. I think of anything you're over feeding, make sure you do a feed, feed, water, feed etc. Or something similar, they won't like getting nutrients every single watering 👍🌱

After Cal/Mag issues (and probably under-feeding) I changed my schedule to FxxFxxF for flower and upping the amount each time by about 75% too (after going FxWxFxW and not increasing nutes or water in flower- big mistake). She seems happier but still a little pale, but she's stacking and looking a lot like the Double Grape (shape-wise) - I'm excited this time to see the difference with 2x the light. A friend with exp stopped by and seemed troubled the light was so far away. It was a problem I didn't even know I had. Following the suggested manufacturer setting may be useful as a guide, but the plants are much happier after I dug around this site and found much more experienced growers using this light at 14" in flower. It looks like I was lucky to lower it when I did, in week 7. Lots of growth and stacking since I upped everything (light intensity and feedings). End of Week 8: I cut out Fish Shit (I ran out, and probably won't buy it again) and Grow Big just to cut back on the N.

No changes. She's still got weeks to go so I'm looking forward to seeing just how chunky she gets. Probably my last time using FF trio. The two other girls were top-dressed every 14 days starting in Wk 4 and may have some minor issues but just look so much happier, greener, taller, and I'm not sitting there mixing 6 liquid nutes multiple times a week (partly my fault for so many staggered harvest and feeding scheds but still). Still experimenting so I might come back to it, but I've already changed soil to Coco Loco and for comparison I'm running two plants (just sprouted 3 days ago) using the Flora line of liquid nutes, and watching how the bottom right girl with the fluffy white flowers compares with just top dressing Down to Earth Veg DtE Bloom + worm castings.

After growing 5-6 diff strains (all FB and Meph) all my grows top out at maybe 13-15" tall. Are my lights (2x Maxsisun PB2000 pro) holding me back? Or is 3-4 too many? I'm in a 3x4 in 3g- total 430w or so. Added a 2nd light but still growing bushes. 😖 Add another 100w+? THANKS!

Don’t listen to these guys.. it’s autos. Ruderalis never grow past what you have already. If you want to have bigger plants you need to run photos. As for the 24/0 cycle. Some swear by it other say rest is needed. Me personally for autos I run 20/4

Last day of Week 11 - flushed and just about ready. I stopped feeding so just ph'd water 2-3 more times before I put her in the dark for 48hrs. Probably my last run with FF trio after top-dressing- also planning to use the Flora series to compare with a FB Gorilla Glue and BF Runtz. Anxious about the potency after a couple of weak runs. I'm not too concerned about yield- within reason but the potency's got to be there if I want to keep growing autos (and looking at my overflowing seed drawer - I do).

11 weeks chopped at day 82. Dried for 8 days and put into a glass jar with a boveda pack. Only burping a couple times a week because the rh was a little under, so maybe I over-dried. Not by much though. 3 wks cure- still waiting but I've got a system that (roughly) works now. 👍
