Week 7 17/2/22 D43 Well, what can I say other than she's a miracle, if you go back over what I put this one through you'll be shocked that she didn't kick her roots a long time ago, she has fought, been pushed to edge, fell over the edge, landed on a wooden spike and then got drowned in toxic waste, ( nutrients ), burnt, battered and had more haircuts in her 7 week life than my granpappy did in 70years. But, hey presto, she's back for more, this time, no stick, just carrot and lots of TLC. Gotta mind my baby, dunno if I'm gonna get a call from the canna social services or not. But all her bruises are nearly gone and no more neglect. I'll do her justice. Sorry little one, now let's help you get to the next stage of your life, leaving preschool heading to high school, (flowering stage), soon. 🎶She's all and packed and ready to go, hey, hey, please don't go, you got at least 2 more weeks to grow🎶!!!! Man the stuff im smoking now isss gooood🤪 18/2/22 Well, she's still growing maybe we will see our 2 week goal before she starts to show sign of flowering, hoping that won't happen yet, if anyone has any thought at just continue growing and not flowering. Maybe I should take her off all the bloom boosters for starters lol. 21/2/22, delighted to report that all nodes are still in veg and growing at an alarming rate internodes, all growing very well, nicely spaced apart for only 5 nodes. Going to start LST and training her upwards and outwards to take the light to lower sites. Atm she's all covered up, but at this stage there only leafs and continued growth from the energy the leafs left on the nodes are taking in. Most of node leafs are exposed to light clearly not some but there pulling in power. 23/2/22 Sry missed a day. She has really changed a lot, starting the flowering process, didn't want it to happen this quick, but by right it should have started 2-3 wks ago I tried keeping her away from sugars, small feeds but since she's started I'm going to be giving her the works. Let's see what happens, fun times ahead! Thanks for reading. Happy growing.

Grow Questions

gottagrowsometimestarted grow question 3 years ago
So, I've an idea. With this plant I'm doing mainline right! Sooo, to get quicker growth with her being an auto will it be okay to take the 1 set of nodes off, and whatever grows after until I've reached the nodes I want to mainline, this wuld be ok and speed process right?

Each fan leaf is food. If you strip the small growth that happens between the main stock then yes. But keep as many leaves as possible. Once you strip that growth the energy from the fan leaf gets diverted to the next node

Read D. And see what I've tried 2do wit lacking exp. So, as you see, de node I have marked is on the 2nd set. I removed the lowest fan leaf to promote growth on 2st set of underdeveloped nodes. 1 worked great for one but there has been no change in this one at all. Read down

Just leave it as is. Its an auto, striping or removing it may stress the plant to much on top of the other things. I would avoid removing any other fan leaves/stems and just tuck them under branches for now. The plant is still small and if its now in flower it will not put on much new growth. Over all its a bit stunted but if you get a harvest out of it, it will be a great success for a new grower. Good Luck and Happy Growing!

Oh I'm glad I found this diary! I'm growing Tangerine Dream Auto as well... I'm going to follow this grow - it'll be fun to compare notees! I'm glad to read you've put your lady through hell and high water and she still comes back swinging... I just had a reall scare with mine - soil became TERRIBLY acidic - still don't know how - but I flushed her and she doesn't seem to have noticed anything was wrong... I just didn't want to lose her - she's a monster! Can't wait for harvest! Good luck with the rest of your grow!

@GrowingGrannie, wow, just looked at yours holy crap. What a strain she is. I started her out in compost then added full programme of nute, clearly I was one of them growers who thought you planted q seed and start of from.12=12 from start to finish lol. Oh, how silly, and if some ppl say they also thought that wouldn't surprise me and when I first seen 500g per plant, doesn't poxy say that's the whole plants weight haha. Yeah she's a hardy little bitch. You have treated her right I just wanted to see how far I could push a plant in them conditions cause wanted results so I could be careful with my organics, so much love for this strain, very easy to learn from and very forgiving. Thanks for dropping by man.

You see I go absolute other way, I love to harm them, but in times when they are ready and big, I ussually even if do huge LST , never top. No harm till week 5 if I veg 6-8 weeks. If it's autos I harm only on 2-3 week of flower. Will I harm at day 40-45 of flower always depends on how my plants are supported, can I move them, do they really need it, will I have time ... Good luck in your transporting grow ;)

gottagrowsometimecommented3 years ago
@AsNoriu, well you can keep autos on 24hr light if you wanted and they still flower on their own. Reason why most don't 12-12 from seed is the light gives it growth. But with autos it doesn't really matter, most stop and change to 12/12 cause they have limited space height or whatever. Just don't change the time say from 12-12 to 18-6 start from 18-6 But autos will flower and fully grow all the way to the end might take a little longer but no you won't harm them. Happy growing friend.

@Mz876, yeah, they are a good breed. Fastbuds seems to be for resilient, and forgiving for beginners. But, Barneys are good too, reliable. Anyways thanks for dropping by. I'll check in on your recent grows in a couple weeks. Happy growing :-)

Fair grow for a first time. I looked through a few veg pics, didn't see the N tox you mentioned, but the eyes are better than a photo. 75 dry grams is a decent haul, enjoy Thanks for helping grow the community with your GOTM answers
