Very happy with this strain. Really nice stone; strong, but not overwhelming. Extremely delicious with hints of sour cherry and vanilla along with fuel. It's most prominent flavour is that is tastes like more π
Love the Remo Nutes. Stopped using the VeloKelp and Natures Candy since discovering they are not all that helpful in DWC. Rest of the lineup was great π
The Cake Stomper was a really easy grow compared to the Strawberry Dawg Pie that was growing beside her. Really trouble-free and relatively low maintenance. Her compact structure was really well suited for this small tent.
She produced some nice frosty and chunky buds. I can really smell the Wedding Cake in her, she has a nice sour cherry fragrance. Can't wait til she dries and I can give her a sample.
Dry weight and smoke report to come.
Thanks for tuning in βοΈ
Smoke review
Really happy with this super delicious strain. This Forum Stomper/Wedding Cake hybrid is a match made in heaven.
110 grams was a decent haul considering the small space she had to grow in; and when combined with the 150 grams I harvested from the Strawberry Dawg Pie that shared the space wit her, 260 total grams is by far my largest harvest from this tent.
I dried her slowly - 7 days - and was diligent (for a change) about keeping the humidity in the tent above 50%. Very pleased with the results. She just gets better and better as she cures; almost 2 weeks now.
Although some of the bud was a bit light and fluffy, everything is very well frosted. I'll definitely grow this strain again.
Looking good mate!
How you like Remoβs VeloKelp? Particular kelp beneficial contains ascophyllum kelp and it is reported to work as a biostimulant also can be used as a βnatural PGRβ in higher doses.
TLDR; have you noticed the difference if plants growing more compact and bushy when supplying Kelp?
@Verbalist, Greetings! Funny you should mention the VeloKelp...
I visited my local hydro supply store to refill on nutes the other day and the person I was talking to really discouraged the use of VeloKelp in DWC. She said the potential harm it can cause outweighs any benefits - there's stuff in the mix that can't be absorbed in DWC and the fallout that clings to the roots can attract nats, promote mold/fungus, etc. I'm going to stop using it.
TLDR; to answer your question, no I don't notice the plants growing more compact and bushy using VeloKelp. π
