Surf Purp (Malibu Pie X Ninja Fruit)

Week 5 Veg This week the Surf Purp siblings were given some minor LST on their main two tops. This will create a nice 4-top canopy for each little bush. The spread of the auxins will promote even growth from all four tops now that they're level in height. Auxins are hormones, and will go towards the highest point of the plant for the fastest growth, so spreading them out by evening the canopy will encourage even growth from each top, keeping a flat/level canopy for flower. I've also been increasing the nutrient strength to see how they're affected. I'm currently sticking to Remo's level ratio, but still not as strong as his chart and probably never will be. It's only a guide and will be affected under different conditions and lights, so find what strengths and ratios work best for your conditions and strains. They're looking very happy and healthy so far with no issues or burns. They'll be vegged for about another week before finally going into the flower tent! Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺
