Saw this strain do some amazing things on Cali Green's YouTube channel so I wanna see if I can get her to do the same! Planning on training her to 40+ tops. I'll likely be vegging this one out for a month or two to make sure I can do that. I'm going to be running her with terp tea duo and bs molasses for calmag supplementation. I'll also do a few recharge feedings just to nail in the microbiology.
Cheers fellow growers! Super excited about this one 🤑☺️
Got her started off with a nice little topping. I'll post an update once there's visible recovery.
Update 2/6/22: Alright, she's long since recovered and her two new tops are up and at em'. As soon as they've developed just a bit more, she'll get another topping! But that's all the training for this week. :)
Got some hygrozyme and hyshield to use with all of my plants. Should definitely help with performance overall. This little plant got its first dose yesterday, and I also began her first bit of top-fed nutes. 1 tsp of grow to start off, then also fed her the compost tea and hygrozyme/hyshield mix. She started to develop a deficiency, so hopefully I caught her in time. ill also be transplanting her into a 1 liter nursery pot sometime this week as well.
I decided to also use ph perfect trio as main nute from here on out. I'll use the compost tea as an additive/microbe enhancer
I definitely wasn't hitting all the right nute levels up until last week. But I think I've gotten her figured out now. Nothing but green growth since the week started, after starting to feed with pH perfect. Think I mentioned last week that I was going to transplant her, but I've just been to lazy to get around to it. So this week will be the week she gets the transplant - and REAL training. This will be a really long veg cycle, because like I said at the beginning of this journal, I want her to have a solid canopy. So as soon as she's transplanted she'll get another round of topping. A week later, another. A week after that, another. And so on. All the way up until a total of 40+ tops
Looking good so far 👌
No defoliating or topping yet, just going to lst and let her do her thing this week. Her last round of topping will be next week. I decided then, just because I think it'll be wise to let her get a bit more vegetative growth b4 introducing her to more stress.
Sorry the pics are so dark! It was hard to get detailed pics while this plant is in the tent. Mostly because she's just so crowded. But it's alright, all of these plants except her will be moved into my flower tent by the end of the week. She'll have plenty of space to stretch her fans as I prep her to mother up once that happens.
Cheers growmies! I'm just as excited for this girl as the bandad I'm running. Seen it do awesome things 😎
Pulled clones from this lady last week as I said I would. Now she's a mother! Didn't grow much the past 4 days since taking cuttings seemed to put a bit of stress on her. However, as you can see - she doesn't really mind it at all.
I took 7 cuttings from this plant, with which I only intend on keeping the 2 most vigorous. The rest will be sent outside for the outdoor season. May or may not track those here. May just use a journal. This site acts whacky on some weekends and I need consistency. When I took the cuttings I did so in a way that 4 of the shoots cut will work as a topping, and 3 were shoots that didn't seem like they'd ever get enough light.
Sorry for the awful white-balancing ahead of time. I was rushing these pictures a bit.
Really happy with this strain's performance! Yet to have any of her clones root, but I've been diligently misting them every day so it's only a matter of time now. Started off the week with a heavy defoliation and then her final round of topping. Only decided to top 2 more sites as I'm really happy with her spread overall. When she goes in the flowering tent solo, she should be easy to train into a Scrog.
Cheers growmies! 😎

Alright! A bit of exciting news to share with you all this week. My clones have begun taking root, strongly at that! So ive begun giving them compost tea and nutes(very light amounts to begin with). Quite a few bandad clones have taken root, and then I can tell a couple sweet zombies have too- it's just that the roots haven't reached the side of the cup yet :p (pictured is the first bandad clone to root)
I'll keep 2 of each strain to stay in the tent then send the rest outside for a light dep run.
As far as our main sweet zombie girl, her life will remain in this tent for the foreseeable future. I may even do some really harsh training on her to get her shaped as rigidly as possible. But since I'm counting down 2 months, a week from now, I'll have a lot of time to train her. I may send this plant outside once we reach vegetative levels of daylight hours outside. That would be optimal; to train her to be ~3 feet outdoors then move her into my 3x6 alone once I'm done with the bandad run. Guess I'll just RunWithIt and see what happens 😅 sorry that was cheesy
Anyways, cheers growmies!

Alright, so she's starting to show light burn on one of the tops. Pretty big issue given that this girl has about 2 months to remain in here. So I plan on hitting her with a main-line. Hopefully shorten her up and let her re-grow during the next 2 months.
I've been thinking that I've fed this girl too many nutrients as of late. But I'll let the plant tell me that, rather than assume. She seems great 👍🏾!
Cheers growmies!

Had to take a hiatus for about a week or two. But now I'm back in full swing! The girls are all swimming along great! I believe in my last update I discussed wanting to main line this plant. But instead I'll do some lollipopping and topping. I figure that would be less traumatic than performing a main-line this late in it's growth. The one sweet zombie clone I got to root is coming along awesomely. I've been feeding compost tea to establish benis and now their growth has really picked up. I'm really worried about how crowded it will get in this tent, so I may end up putting my clones outside once we have vegetative conditions outdoors. Either way, I'll just run with it lol.
Cheers growmies!

Good luck!, fantastic strain chosen & Cali Green is awesome, as Bill Wards. For me the two best organic growers.
I'm running for the 2nd time this strain too, I love it.

@@Outdoorbeast905, Thank you brother! That stuff is an actual game changer, you weren't kidding at all. Lmao I feel like some kind of marketing spokesman or some shit. But I'm just that impressed with these products. Hyshield and Hygrozyme. Absolutely.
