After a short soak in water they have been moved into soil. Fingers crossed they all emerge. Using a plant heating pad to keep them happy in my New England basement.
And we’re off!
3/3 on germination- no issues or bumps yet.
Going to repot them in the next few days, not their final pots, just something with a bit more room.
They liked the move to the bigger pots. Just under a gallon (0.7) I’m already noticing roots peeking out of the bottom of the pots. Introduced nutrients.
Made a few mistakes last week. Lights were too low, looked at the wrong feed chart- major damage to fan leaves. Raised lights, feed with pure water, and fed again at the correct introduction amount.
That being said I skipped an update last week as I did damage control and tried to beget a better handle on environment.
Things are looking better!
All 3 of these lovely ladies and definitely looking a bit better this week. They all got topped 2/3 days ago, so starting to see a bit more side growth. Still tinkering with the lights, got them pretty high about 28 inches over the canopy.
Chugging along. Bouncing back from their topping and growing quickly. Another two weeks (ish) till they get the flip.
Looking forward to seeing what the next week brings.
Really starting to push out side branches and have a more bushy appearance. Things going pretty smooth. It’s starting to warm up a bit so temps are in a better range.
Really happy with how things are looking. 2 of the 3 plants have gotten some benders added so I can hopefully score a few more bud sites in the next few weeks. Keeping feedings low and steady- should have probably increased them a bit by now, but I’ve got some burnt tips and I really don’t want to throw things off. 🌱 👊🏻
Bummed up the feeding and I don’t think they liked it. Waited two days and feed again with just ph’ed water- hopefully that balances it out. Rearranged the plants in the tent a bit to give everyone a chance at the center locations.
Chugging along. Basically just waiting for the flip- which should begin in exactly one week! Colors a bit yellow- upped feedings a bit, added in 1.5ml of calmag with feedings. All 3 of these have been topped- so all plants are pretty consistent in height.
Starting to see pistols. Today is day 6 of flower. I had to remove one plant from the big tent because I was just pushing my luck trying to keep 10 plants in there. Luckily I’ve got nothing going on in my small tent- so now one white widow is blooming solo. 🌱
Photo dump. I took everyone out of the tent- gave them each their own personal photo shoot- and checked out their parts. So far so good. Lots of pistols showing. A few formed calyxes and most importantly NO balls.
That said things are going nice and steady. Officially day 13 of flower.
One plant is alone in the small tent under a unit farm light. Which I love btw. The other two are in the big tent- 9 plants total in there. It’s starting to get questionably tight. So we’ll see
Plants have gotten so big that I am now using two tents. I have moved all 3 white widows into my 30x30- while leaving the other 3 seedsman strains in my larger 48x48. 2 plants are shaped vary similar ( they were both topped) and the third plant has a bit more natural look. It has a weird mutant stem, that is both wide and has a triple top. It will be interesting to see how that cola finishes.
Today is officially day 20 of flower.
Officially looking like cotton balls and beginning to see trichomes forming at bud sites. Seeing a little bit of burnt tips after my last feeding and upping bloom nutrients.
Halfway through flowering. Took everyone out, removed some yellowing/dry leaves from the bottom- checked for any signs of balls or bananas. Everything looks good, and buds are starting to stack up nicely.
One plant has a wide flat stem on one cola. It has 3 bud growths at the very top. So bizarre
Calyxes really starting to add some bulk to bud sites. Nothing major to report. Pushed dressing again this past week. But will beginning lowering in the final weeks. I’ll have to find that feed chart again.
Entering eighth and hopefully the final week of flower for these girls. I’ve needed to feed them much more frequently- every two days. Loosing yellow leaves- but the sugar leaves remain healthy looking.
So begins flush week, if I go that long. I moved some girls around this week. I found a bananas on my peyote gorillas, not a ton, but they seem to need another two weeks. So. I moved the 3 white widows into the big 4x4, and put the peyote gorillas in the smaller 30x30. The plan now is to check trichomes every other day along with watering with just ph’ed water. They when I feel it I’ll kick the lights out for a 24 hour period then get chopping.
Ultimately it was a smooth grow. Seems to always be the case with seedsman. Plants grew well, and finished just on time. I’m really looking forward to trying this legendary strain once she’s dry enough.
Resinous rock hard tops. Lower buds under developed, but still worth it. Smells fantastic. I honestly can’t wait. Grew these because an older co-worker told me this was his favorite- these seeds were freebies- I can’t wait to give him an ounce 🌱 👊🏻
