This was initially supposed to be Cracker Jack but after getting all 3 seeds to germinate the seedlings would die after 2-3 days every time so I went with the Grape Ape seeds. Soaked in water for 12 hours then placed in a moist paper towel inside a ziplock bag. Once germinated she was placed into a solo cup with Fox Farm Happy Frog soil.

Week 3: She was transplanted into her final home in a 5 gallon pot. Pot was filled with Fox Farm Ocean Forest mixed with perlite, alfalfa meal, kelp meal, bat guano, worm castings and 4-4-4 Vegetable garden. She’s been growing like crazy and I wanted to get her into a home where she can pull nutes from the soil. I also watered her in with a high nitrogen compost tea made of worm castings, bat guano, alfalfa meal and kelp meal. Late Week 3 Update: She’s over her transplant shock growing nicely. Decided it was a good time to top her so I did. Top removed at the 6th node.

Week 4: Start of week 4 and she’s doing well. She’s going to be a bushy one as she’s stacked with internode growth. Continuing to water to a pH of 6.5. Started to add Fish Sh*t to her waterings as I’ve heard good things about it and figured this would be a good grow to check it out.

Week 5: Another healthy plant, she’s doing great. Through 4 weeks this girl is living up to her name. She is short, squatty and has some big ole gorilla paw fan leaves. Very tight node stacking that is loaded with aggressive growth. She’s been very difficult to get any type of training done due to the fact she’s so compact. For such a small plant she has 4 massive fan leaves that almost block out all undergrowth. With how well she’s been growing I expect to be able to do some aggressive training on her later this week to open up the lower canopy.

Week 6: Halfway through the week and I was finally able to do some more aggressive LST after I did some defoliation. She’s really healthy and would like to veg her out another week or two but since I have no room to put her and I don’t want to wait any longer with the two sativas going I really have no option. I will be flipping the lights to 13/11 this evening.

Week 7: Two days post flip to an 11 on and 13 off light schedule and she is already showing pistols. She is loaded with bud sites and had zero issues bringing her into flower. I added a trellis net to the tent to help even her keep and even canopy. 8-9 week flower time so the next two months should be fun.

Week 8: Through 7 weeks and she continues to do great. There have been no issues this entire grow and she is healthy and growing like crazy. She was planted a week behind the other two plants in the tent but you wouldn’t be able to tell as she’s every bit the other twos equal. Waterings with fish shit regularly and have been giving her Re-Charge and now Cal-Mag once a week.

Week 9: Start of the third week of flower and she is loving life. After her waterings her leaves are “praying” big time to the mars hydro gods. She is on her regular feeding schedule with fish shit at every watering and I have been adding re-charge and cal-mag once a week as well. Since this is the third week of Flower she was given 4 tbsp. of the Gaia Green Power Bloom 2-8-4 along with a cup of worm castings. 6-7 more weeks until harvest.

Week 10: Onto the 4th week of flower for this girl. She is happy, healthy and developing nicely. I’ve been sticking to my regular feeding schedule as I’ve seen zero reason to change anything. She wants a drink every other day like the other two girls in the tent. Each plant has been given a 1/3 gallon of water which leads to slight to minimal runoff.

29 days into flower and this continues to be an easy problem free grow. She has shown zero issues since day one. It’s safe to say that the stretch is done and now it’s time for her to start packing on some weight. I am pleasantly surprised by her trichome levels as she is frosting up nicely. The tent is also gaining a pleasant odor, hard to pin down the smell as there are three different strains in the tent now. No changes to the feeding schedule this week as I will continue to do what I’ve been doing the last 4 weeks.

Through 5 full weeks of flower and into week 6 and there continue to be no issues. This girl is adding weight everyday and is developing a very strong grape smell. She is the frostiest of the 3 plants in the tent with the Durban coming in a close second. These girls did get their final dry amendment feeding of Gaia Green 2-8-4 Power Bloom at a rate of 1 TBSP per gallon along with a full cup and a half of earthworm castings. I hope this feeding will carry her out through the last 3 weeks or so of her lifetime.

6 1/2 weeks of flower in the books and she is just loving life. Of the three plants she has the biggest buds by far, they are big, fat, dense and ultra frosty. She has a very strong citrusy grape smell, almost candy like. Like the other girls in the tent she is getting close to harvest and I would guess 2-2.5 weeks before she finishes out. Nothing but water from here until harvest.

We’re through 7 weeks of flower and into the 8th week. She is still adding on weight and her buds continue to get fatter every day so I think she will go a full 9 weeks maybe even closer to 10 weeks of flower before I harvest her. With that said I haven’t checked the trichomes on her yet so that time frame could change rapidly. The lower leaves are starting to fade which means she is now feeding off her own leaves which is just what I was looking for. Nothing but water pH’d to 6.5 for the rest of her life, I might stop watering in a week and let her dry out in the pot a little as well.

Getting close to harvest as 8 weeks of flower are now in the books. I was surprised to see her buds continue to get fatter over this last week as they were already the biggest of the 3 plants in the tent. Her buds are frosty, fat, dense and just overall fantastic. This plant will be the largest yielder of the 3 plants by far as she has the most and biggest nugs. She has a super strong grape citrus candy smell that find myself peeping into the tent just to grab a nose full. Harvest is coming in the next 7 days as her trichomes are mostly cloudy, just looking for a little more amber.

This plant was a joy to grow. I wasn’t sure what to expect with Pacific Seed Bank but these seeds all germinated and produced some great quality buds. For my first photo harvest and someone who has been growing for less then a year (to be fair I work with plants at my job everyday, so I’m not a total newbie to growing) I think the results speak for themselves.

@GODSGIFT_2005_JM, some nice mainlining there. This is only my second photo grow so I’m not quite ready to test out that yet. I planted this girl a week behind my other photos and she’s just jumbo everything. Fans leaves, stems, node growth, everything is just crazy.

@UKScally420, I’d day another 4-5 weeks. Supposed to be a 8-9 week flower. Shes got plenty of time left to add frost and stack weight.

@UKScally420, thank you. So far I would recommend it. She’s been a super easy grow. Topping, low stress training, super cropping all have her unfazed. She’s done well with everything I’ve thrown at her. I expect her to put on some major weight the next few weeks.
