Gorilla-ish AutosMaking Feminized Pollen

Alright, here we go 2022 Season 4 on Growdiaries. Woohoo. This season will be the second attempt at commercial scale outdoor growing at 53N latitude in Alberta, Canada. Lots of sun if you time it right but the sun gets weak quickly after mid-August this far north. Because of that, mostly limited to autos. This is actually my first ever (serious) indoor grow (big thanks to Mars-Hydro for the great light and 4x4 tent). Up till now I’ve only ever started seeds indoor but all growing was done outdoor. I’ll be crossing several varieties of Gorilla Glue Auto to make feminized seeds. It’s easy enough and I’ve done it before, but it’s always a bit nerve wracking. Knowing how to make your own feminized seeds is very satisfying and way cheaper than purchased seeds. Knowledge is power even when it comes to pot, gnome sayin’? Starting (in water Jan 15) three seeds two of which will be sprayed with colloidal silver once they start flowering to make feminized pollen. In about 4 weeks I’ll start three different types of glue autos to pollinate. This should provide lots of seeds that I can grow out this summer to make another round of crosses. 👍😎 Cannabis breeding is easier than tomato or pepper breeding and the plan is to breed plants suited to short season outdoor. Mars-Hydro FC-4800 and tent were setup tonight. Everything was quick and easy. Very nice.
