I’ve used Fox Farm for several years and continue to get great results. Over time, I’ve learned, as many have commented, to use less than recommended, and I only did one flush during this grow, with no apparent negative effects.
Grow highlights:
I’ve cut down the Wedding Cake mother plant, as shown, and after a little leaf trimming have hung it for initial drying with a wet weight of about 500 grams. This was a somewhat challenging, but very fun grow experience. My friend “R” is an experienced grower and started me with two clones in early January. It went well until I transplanted them into 3 and 5 gallons canvass pots. I overwatered and killed the 5 gallon plant, but learned a lot (for one, to use some vermiculite to loosen soil mixtures). Mites also we’re a minor problem, but I was able to keep them under control and they appear gone, at least for now. The second and third generation clones off the mother plants are continuing to do very well, and are actually a bit larger than the mother plant I just harvested.
I have tasted a bit of sampled, but not fully cured, flower and it is tasty. I will post an update when curing is largely done and I can give a thorough review.
Cheers!
Plants are about 8-9 weeks in, ready to flower soon. Noticed spots yesterday. FF nutes once a week + a bit of Neptunes and ICT. No pests seen.
Any suggestions?
that's not what nutrient burn looks like or calcium/magnesium issues.
It looks like some larger beads of water or maybe something else was left on the leaf and it burned it.
Only spray at lights out. or before they turn on when it can fully dry.

Hey Buddy nice grow but the headbud on your harvest pic looks like it has budrott so watch out! I hope for ya its not but for your own safety be aware!
@Foxylove420, yep, you are right, I found some on a couple of the top buds and thank you. My dehumidifier died, and I put another in the room yesterday.
Regardless of the issues you mentioned, this gal turned into a MONSTER! Holy cow, this thing is a mad science experiment gone right! Absolute beast mode. Love it. Look forward to the smoke report 🙌
