End of week six. Quite a few of the upper fan leaves turned crispy around the edges, not sure what caused it, possibly a combination of too much light, too much water due to having to fill the base tanks before going on holiday and kelp added too late, causing K deficiency. It still looks like it will be a fairly decent haul.
I'm not growing the Blue Dream Haze again and unlikely I'll grow any Cali Connection strains again (I still have a Chem '91 seed, but probably not worth the risk). Not even sure it is a Haze, most of the pistils have turned brown already, calyxes are looking fully swollen and some trichomes are turning amber, much sooner than expected, maybe due to it being a hermie (like the Alien OG I grew), but haven't seen any pollen released. The Sour D x Key Lime Pie smells best, a bit like ZCube, yields will likely be poor, but quality beats quantity. AK-47 has the biggest, best looking buds so far, but the aroma is hard to describe. Ghost Train Haze upper leaves have faded a lot - light burn perhaps, with it being closer to the LED, smells like classic Haze and fresh lime.
Great grow!! I do suggest you making hole around the pot, so the roots become more oxygenated, it's very important!!!
Wish you a great grow!
Have a shroom11!!!11 π
@Sybarite, cool, I'll follow along. Both AK-47 and GTH are amazing. Check my Somali Ghost Train diary, if you like. It's not like anything else I've ever grown before!
@Shijo_Kingo, Thank you. No, I'm not too worried. I left them in the small pots for too long (I'm on a tight schedule), so they got excessively root-bound. They are perking up now since the transplant, plus a few yellowing lower leaves in veg rarely causes any issues during bloom. I will probably be removing some of the lower fan leaves eventually anyway to improve air circulation and prevent mildew.
