Hello Diary.
The flowering phase for Sweet Skunk has begun.
The plants reached a height of just over 45 cm so it is obvious that they will stay lower in growth, branches and leaves grow densely so at the end of the week I did defoliation to slightly improve airflow through the plant itself and potentially improve yield.
Sweet Skunk # 1 is slightly taller and the distance between the branches is slightly larger than with Sweet Skunk # 2, but they are more or less very similar in structure.
The flowers are slowly evolving so I have more motives to take photos.
Watering has become a little more frequent, as expected. I replaced Easy Grow Booster tablets with Easy Bloom Booster tablets and for the first time I put an Easy Plus tablet with micronutrients.
Their roommate Blue Cheese is slowly catching up with them, and it is good that all three plants are similar in height.
Here’s a review from last week.
05/01/2022 - Day 22.
Watering. In 5 liters of water I put one Easy Bloom Booster tablet and p.H. I regulated it to a value of 6.4. I watered both plants with that amount.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 24 degrees and 42% humidity.
09/01/2022 - Day 26.
Watering. This time I added one Easy Plus tablet with micronutrients. p.H I dropped to 6.2.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 24 degrees and 42% humidity.
11/01/2022 - day 28.
Photography and defoliation. I cleaned the lower branches on the plant a bit and thus allowed it to have better airflow.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 23.5 degrees and 41% humidity.
That’s for this week, see you soon.
@ButterfliesLittleFarm your plant has used up all of the available Nitrogen so it is now cannibalising the leaves
to get what it needs .
Despite the misinformation on the Internet your plants DO require nitrogen throughout the entire growing cycle
Again, so refreshing to see your great photos; I might have to rethink using my iPhone, focussing alone is a nightmare with young plants.
All the best with your little Lady & happy growing!
Some plant eat more than othere I think a good bloom fertilizer is all you need flush to reset root bio mass might not be a bad idea but for most part they look great
