Soaked seed for 24 hr in distilled water in an ice cube tray (at room temp, I'm using the ice cube tray to do 4 seeds in smaller than using less glasses).
Then transferred to wet tissue paper that I kept in the dark, until the tap root is a about 3-5cm long.
I then made a hole just deeper than the tap root, place the seed in with the tap root extending down lightly cover with medium and water with spray bottle.
Cover with a plastic bottle, with some water sprayed on the inside to keep humidity up.
Currently only running the veg and bloom array on my light, don't want to use the strong array while they are only seedlings

She is coming along really quick, This is my first Mephisto grow and I am impressed how fast she is growing growing The medium is maybe a bit loose around her as she appears to shift when I water. I've been packing the medium down a bit around the stem and will also water more slowly,
The is some slight browning on the leaf edge of some leaves.
Day 18
I topped today above the fourth node. I also began LST tying down only the shoots aiming to get them growing horizontally to the edge of the pot. I'm aiming to emulate processor autoflowers LST technique https://youtu.be/whLBr78dr-0 . This is my first time trying topping, but I was inspired to try it by the technique in this youtube video.
Dose anyone know what could be causing this browning at the leaf edges? It is a bit dry and crinkly to the touch. This is only on the bottom two fan leaves, and only the very tips. All the newer growth looks fine. Nutrient Burn maybe?
Should I be worried, or adjust anything?
It's sounds like slight nitrogen toxicity, from your explation. Crispy leafs are early signs of leaf degradation. Still in early stages.Did it start of light green, then go that color brown color then turn to crispy dead parts. Because it's only part. I see your using coco so the light green before turned to crispy brown means slight tox. Or if it happened fast it could be a major problem to come up. Looks like early stages and looking through your diary. Here's my diary on heavy N tox but the fix is the same. Flush with distilled PH water at 6.2 max and then feed same watee for 2 days and start restart ur nute programme slowly. Try avoid N nutes or lower their dose and give nutes sep for a few days instead of doing a mix fixed my lockout on my zkittlez hydro. Happy growing friend. Check new growth them leafs will not heal. I topped her last week between nodes 4 and 5 and it might have slowed her down a bit but she is bouncing back now.
I'm training the main shoots only, I'm not bending the main stem at all, or any fan leaves.
She has already stated to put out some mild smell, and is showing first signs of pistils
Day 22
watered with 2ml Cal mag, 2ml micro, 4ml bloom 1ml karma all per gallon. Ph 6.3
Watered most of pot except far outer edge
I'll adjust the nutes up for next watering to what I have set above for this week and going forward.
Day 26
I bought an EC pen this week so have started monitoring my run off and adjusting feed accordingly. She seems to respond well to that and has bushed up. So that combined with the training , she looks a bit messy. But the training has the tops where I want them. Trying pony tail training to get those big fan leaves out of the way and more light to the lower tops.
Day 31, I removed all the ties trimmed some of the lower older fan leaves and nay that got in the way of light to the tops . Adjusted my pot so the edges were closer to the media surface. Then tied all the tops down as equal as possible and spaced them out
