My gal is growing like a BEAST💯She’s starting to put on flowers, this so cool!! She averages about an inch a day in vertical growth. Wish I’d of done this a long time ago🤦‍♂️🏻🤣 Thanks for all you guys help!!

I’m giving this girl about 3/4 gallon of water and FoxFarm liquid fertilizer 4ml 6-4-4 twice a week and watering once in between. Is that enough???? Or is that my problem? Busting my cherry with this one so help needed!! Lol

An EC of 1.6 in veg is a bit high to me. I would lower that down and confirm your nutrients has everything the plant is going to need. micro and macro. I'd also lower the PH by .5 down to 6.5-6.8 for soil grows. If you keep with heavy feeding the salt buildup in the medium will cause lockout issues in the coming weeks. Best Of Luck!

Lime works on the soil to raise its PH Sulphur works to lower the PH These are more long term options for soil. PH 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-11-12-13-14 1 acid 7 neutral 14 alkaline. I would be more likely to use a PH down product for this. Phosphoric acid is a great, nice buffer period as well. Some other PH down products use citric acid, and it does not last as long in the medium and the PH will rise again within 24-48 hrs. Also coffee grounds will tend to lower your PH vs raise it. To many coffee grounds can cause some issues. Good Luck!

I’m not opposed to using the PH down at all. This my first rodeo. The FoxFarm soil was given to me along with the liquid and the plant lol. Really just wondering and trying to learn some different methods from other growers and to have the more seasoned vets let me know what 💭

Aluminum sulfate to acidity ph down. Dolomitic lime to alkaline ph up. Ph levels are just another spectrum, like all spectrums its better to enact change, although each strain/plant has a preferred ph, going to far off will cause lockout/sickness. On the flip side keeping the ph religiously static has its own set of less known problems. Minerals/Nutrients have varying preferences that effect uptake rates through the rootzones. Manganese for example hates Temps below 67 and uptake levels will drop. Trying to produce "purples" using temperature drops too early ar the wrong stage of development will destroy yields as is vital for flower formations. I have a small diagram on one of my diaries somewhere I will lookup and link when I'm home. Each nutrient has a preferred ph also. What nutrients uptake well at a ph of 5 is night and day from the levels at 7. The curves are drastic. Like all things in nature ... the seasons driven by eternal change. This is the secret of life. Provide your plants with any old range between 5 and 7 and stop ✋️ working about being perfect. I personally cycle between 5-7 uptown shake it all around. P.s go organic. Nature always knows best, There is a multi billion dollar industry that wants you to feed your plants cheeseburgers and pretend it's all cool. NPK

That big bloom is very low concentrate. I would use every other watering...build up the dosage of the big bloom over time, don't give it full strength right away. Once you see flowering I would switch to fox farms Tiger bloom...also starting a low dose and building tolerance over time. Happy growing!

That is a lovely looking plant. No need to scrog at all with just 1 plant it's mainly done to control height and make a canopy of bud. With just the 1 plant you'll get more out of it by training her upwards and if you want top. But even then, she looks so nice and healthy I think left alone for at least another 2 weeks then come back to it. Happy growing. Good luck.

I don't think it needs it. Your could skip and be fine. Maybe some LST to help get the light down in there if your worried. Good Luck!

Why is my center buds calyx turning brown and the fatter buds closer to the light look fine. Still a few weeks from harvest or should be. I mean all the others all have long white calyx with a orange one every now and then but not curly like the pic, Help!!!! Lol!!!

to help pick out a previous answer -- most likely just senescence... pistils turn orange-ish and retract until they are little nubs or curl up small etc... As the plant nears end of life (senescence) it will go through some inevitable changes... and this can vary by plant a bit - e.g. canopy may turn a different color. pollination can have the same effect on pistils and slow bud development.. do you have any male or hermie plants in the room? yet to hear of immaculate conception in plants... usually, but not always, happens top-down (parts with potentially too much light/heat speeding process), so maybe look around for nanners but i wouldn't worry too much... should be doing that alreaady, anyway. It's only going to pick up and all over plant. It is one of 3 metrics you should use to determine harvest window -- trichome color, pistil color, bud density.

Hey friend, Looking nice is that a closet setup? Would it be okay if I offered you some advice to help out? So cannabis plants love heat and humidity. It is the buds that hate it. We can get much more vigorous and quick growth in veg and early flower by exploiting this. Temps of 79-84 MAX lights on and no more than 9 degrees less with lights off. We cannot allow for too large of temp swings in veg and early flower or we will make our plants stretch a lot. So keeping the temp gap between lights on and off nice and tight is important at this stage. Once your plants have finished growing vertically by weeks 4-6 of flower we then want to open up that temp gap to more than 10 degrees less with lights off. This will now signal the plants to send extra energy into the budding process and resin production. By weeks 2-3 of flower we want to begin to taper our temperature down with lights on to around 77. If we grow buds out at too high of temps all the way through flower we will get big buds, But they will be very airy and prone to foxtail. We do not want this, Size is good but we get our weight from density. Anything over 81 will grow bigger buds but they will lose a lot of cake and density. Temps of 77-80 MAX with lights on and slowly widening the gap to more than 10 degrees less with lights off each week until harvest. If you have not done so already get yourself a PAR meter & A thermal laser temp gun to better read your plants and grow to their needs. Also check out VPD, Vapor pressure deficit and how it relates to growing cannabis. All new growers should learn this from the start. @Mule420, Look up PH explained there are some good charts to show and explain its workings. The basic nutrient function can be a bit complicated but it is fairly simple once you understand it. Go with a simple program first of all and get the hang of feeding properly PH'ed feeds consistently. Then add more to your program as you begin to understand it. Green planet Grow/micro/bloom Medione Rootbuilder Massive Resin is a great simple program that will yield good results. Make sure to get a digital PPM & PH meter to help make sure you arent burning your plants, a lot of new growers will overdo it in the beginning and that is the one thing to watch out for. Less can be more as we learn about the plant life cycle and its needs.

@LegacyMarketFarm,i willl take all the advice I can get lol!! Yes it is a 5x4 closet set up. I will definitely check out your channel. The temps have been staying between 74-80 so far. I had a couple nights where it got down in the 60’s but so far so good. I’m still figuring out this site as well. My humidity has been staying around 50. I’m EXCITED to say the least but it’s a learning experience for sure!! Thanks for your help!!! I’m still trying to finish the room it was kinda of a quick plant adoption lmao 😂 I’m really needing to understand nutrients and intake there of a whole lot more and when and what to give
