Apr 6: plant is looking good recovering nicely from the first step of mainlining. I’m convinced about mainlining outdoors for photos and will be trying that this season. Butterstotch has some awesome outdoor mainlining diaries. Apr 8: got some floral tape from the florist at the mall as I couldn’t find ‘grafting tape’ at the usual places. Stretchy breathable tape is for support at the super cropping point. The purpose of the super cropping is so that the outer growth tips of the mainline are just below the inner growth tips. If the outer tips are higher they will dominate over the inner growth tips. There are now 8 growth tips that should form colas and since it’s still early in the year, I’ll go for 16 colas on these three outdoor plants (hash bud, bubble OG and Candyland). Hopefully they’re all medium to tall plants and not too short. Apr 9: sprayed with FPJ made from cannabis tops at 1mL/L. Hopefully that is not too strong because I remember last year it was quite potent. Foliar spray also had some Azomite and some kelp extract. This seemed to help Beast the other day with what looks to be zinc deficiency so I’ll try it again. Light schedule changed from 20/4 to 18/6 to more closely match natural light cycle.
