This is my first time growing so I lack anything to compare this to. That being said, with a little automation on environment, this plant did wonderfully. She did herm, but that's likely my fault. I burned it in week 2 with nutes a little bit so maybe wait to feed when you would expect the soil to start being inert, and be ready for that stretch in weeks 2-4 after the flip. No signs of disease, deficiencies, pests in my indoor grow.
Germ date: Feb15. Veg for 63 days
Flip to 12/12: Apr20. Cut Jun21. Flower time: 61 days.
Total time grown: 124 days.
Tent works as it should. Zippers were my expected failure point, and they're doing just fine. My only complaint would be the Velcro wall that separates the 2 chambers. I had to tape over it with masking tape to prevent light leak when flowering in the main chamber. Really can't provide a solution though. Overall great quality that I expect to last many runs.
Alright, we made it! This is my first harvest. I'm proud of my plant.
I'm hanging her up to dry at 55% humidity until i get a good snap. Hoping for a good long dry.
I'll be updating this grow with final weights and pictures for trimming and curing.
I want to thank everyone who checked out the grow and offered encouraging words and tips. That really helps when you're struggling with a new endeavor.
If you enjoyed the grow, let me know what you thought!

Smoke review
So I learned a few things during the harvest. Shit will go wrong at the worst time. A day after cutting her and hanging, my ac went out and endured 15ish hrs of 80f+ heat and 95f heat for at least 4 hrs of that. Not great for my terps. Drying took about 8-9 days. Also realized why I had so many larfy buds. There were seeds in them... Yeah so something must have hermed out and I missed it. My guess is light stress from being in a 2in1 tent with veg clones in the other side. Luckily the good buds aren't seedy.
The high is what I remember from this strain from years ago. Hyper focus cerebral high. I have literally detailed my house in the past 4 days on this shit. This is fully functional stimulant weed. My mood seems to be overall improved as well. Feeling much more patient and empathetic.
The smell is undergoing changes in the jars right now but it's taking on a funky earthy cheesy note to the fuel. It's not my fav smell, but any pot smoker will know that's the smell of some funky shit.
So the seedy larfy stuff weighed in at 50g. The good buds came to 67.3g for a total of 117.3g, or 4.1oz. Seeds and lost terps aside, I'm feeling pretty good about getting a qp of really good smoke out of a 2x2 on my first grow.
Really hope anyone reading this journal found it informative or at least interesting. This has been a journey. I still have much to learn and feel out but I'm approaching round 2 with confidence. Take care for now!
they will evoporate fast. the quality will definitely suffer. a real bummer indeed. maybe google fridge drying for cannabis if it speaks to you it may help you in this situation. just an idea.
On the plus side, that is them finished stretching. Took me a while to get used to the stretch, but not all is lost and everything is a lesson. This will be epic, now following to keep up with your grow bro. Keep the faith! 💩✊💚💚💚
@Jobbie, It's been exciting to see the flip because ive been nursing a green plant for 2 months. I expected pretty much what's happening because of my research (watching lots of mr. Canucks & others on yt) but I do find myself just sitting and admiring my work here and there. And there's the excitement to seeing what kind of phenotype I have. It's like opening a kinder egg. It's a really cool plant because week to week it's so different than the last. Not looking forward to trimming, but you gotta do what you gotta do. Calling me bro is fine.
@pund3r, also apologies, I have no idea what gender you are and called you bro. I'm super excited for you, my first grow was a complete mess because I did not research and just listened to others. Has it been exciting? Better or worse than expected? I was surprised by the stops and starts where for a few weeks there is nothing to do, then there's hours of work in a few days.
@Jobbie, hey, thanks bud! This whole grow has been a learning experience, and thankfully I did a ton of research to not be a complete noob.
I planned to flip these nearly 2 wks sooner, but my clones kept dying off. If i had, I think I would have had a little more mercy from the stretch. rapid rooters took my clone success from 0% to 100%. next run ill have the knowledge of not only how much they stretch, but exactly how long they need to be flowered. If this is the worst of my failures in a first grow I'd call that a success. There's still time to mess it up though lol. I'll do my best! Thanks for the support!
@love_2_grow, Thanks! It's my first real go at it, so I'm trying to learn what not to do. Pretty sure I topped a little prematurely, and hit her early with nutes in amended soil and got a little burn. Hoping my mistakes are small ones in the future.
@DadGrowsTomatoes, you're telling me dude. I just had to supercrop the main branches 1 month in because they were touching the light. leggy ladies. Thanks for the kind words.
