The three plants are, oddly, in three different stages of "readiness" ... I'll probably be harvesting the first plant towards the end of this week unless she continues to bulk up ... in about 2-3 weeks, the second one will most likely be ready - followed by the third a week or 2 later. Very odd... but at least it will spread out my trim jail time!
5/29 - finally got a decent loupe to use and took a look at the trichomes.... omg! The first plant is ALMOST too late to harvest so she's come down and is drying. The loupe also confirmed my assessment of the other two - it's going to be another week or two for them...
That's a good tip with the towels for the ambient moisture - I use this stuff called Oasis, which is a weird crumbly sponge substance, but a towel seems just as good and costs a lot less!
👍
@GrowingGrannie, Hi!
The grow questions I usually close in 24 hours - I think I've asked about... A seed shell that was really thick, an auto strain that went a bit funny, the same auto that went funny again, and recently I hoped someone might help me with another auto in an Aerogrow thing that I burned by forgetting to put on the pump...
These two I thought I would leave longer, as the seed companies of course don't want you to use seeds from plants you pollinate and it's good to get some answers about these things - all the grow questions are about fixing problems rather than "other; other" open questions about stuff like making autos :)
I'll remember to close them, yes ma'am! :D
What's also interesting, grannie, is that the big plants in the big pots, from the same seeds in the same conditions that my buddy has - the ones in the big pots have the least developed roots..!
The little pots have thick, full roots all over the place, but the big pots have very thin and much shorter root systems..!
It must be as much to do with the watering and access to the underground world, as much as anything! :D
@@Teh_Saccade, That's just plain WEIRD!!! It's counter-intuitive to say the least... you'd think, given more room to grow, the larger pot would have the most roots... Once I harvest these ladies, I'm definitely going to check out the root systems and will be back at you about it!
