When life gives a LEMON

Little ladies... these are by far the smallest autos I've had at this stage of their life but I look on them as little puppies - cute and oh so adorable. Still sharing a tent with a plant in flower so the humidity is not where I'd like it to be for them but I'm still wrapping water-soaked towels around them to increase THEIR humidity - and there's no way to measure that!

Little ladies are doing well.....

First of all, the color of the pics isn't right... they're a nice, healthy green! But I started to have some lockout with twisting, clawing leaves so I ended up flushing all three and they're very grateful. This strain seems to be a lot more sensitive to nutes than any others I've grown and so I will be gentle with them. I'm very pleased with their performance so far! I'll feed them again in a couple of days and go at it slower!

These ladies reacted poorly to my initial attempts at giving them nutes so I flushed them and only started giving them a wee bit this week. Again, my comments in my diary for the Glueberries about the consistency of autoflower seeds holds true here... consistency just ain't there yet but I'm not complaining! #1 is a very tall, lanky beanstalk that's done an amazing stretch and I've also done a bit of LST on, #2 is very bushy and both of these are in flower. Then there's poor #3 - the runt of the crew - she's only managed to get into preflower by this time but that's ok, I'm happy enough! I'm hoping with additional nutes this coming week, #1 will get a bit bushier, #2 will start doing a decent sort of stretch and #3 will catch up in all regards!

These haven't stretched as much as Glueberry so I've raised the lights hoping to encourage them. These three are a mixed bag and each one is demanding different treatment. Had a lockout issue with one that has since been corrected but she suffered terribly and may not give me much at harvest. It's all a learning game and each one of these is teaching me something different... gotta love it.

These ladies are having a rough time of it... had to leave for a couple of days and let a friend, who is also a grower, tend them while I was gone. Unfortunately, she read a deficiency as an excess and flushed them... they'll never recover well enough to give me a really good harvest, but they're putting up a fight and will still go all the way. Moral of the story: DON'T EVEN LET ANOTHER GROWER TEND YOUR GROW! She should have at least gotten in touch with some pics and ask me what I wanted her to do... oh well... c'est la vie....

The biggest issue this week is the temp... it's gotten very hot here all of a sudden and the temps in my tent were up over 90... so I've reversed my "winter schedule" of 24/7 lights and taken it back down to 18/6 with the lights off during the hottest part of the day - afternoons. I'm also opening up the tent wide during their lights out period to further help get the temps down and the humidity under control. I may actually take them outside to spend their days if I don't have any success getting the temps in the tent down - and I mean DOWN!! Ideally, I'd like to see them around 75degrees but even outside it's warmer than that however the breezes and the super low humidity we've got now would be a plus... Stay tuned!

Just like my Glueberries - I've got 3 seeds with 3 different growth patterns. My Lime Green Lady is looking the best so far and will be a good harvest. Plant #2 is coming along really well and starting to bulk up quite a bit. #3 is the poor one of the bunch and it's entirely due to some erroneous treatment of her early on in the game. Still, she's plugging away and will probably be the first one I harvest (if for nothing else than to put her out of her misery) and I'll get a modest harvest from her. No matter, they're all my ladies and I love them all! 5/24 - So I ended up deciding to harvest the one plant that just wasn't doing well... She took the brunt of the misdiagnosis my friend made - she was just kind of sitting there, not doing much of anything - couldn't see ANY growth in her buds and just decided it was her time. So she's drying now and will add her to the total when I harvest the others. I think I'm going to take #2 down in about a week or so, too - same sort of issue but not as bad. #3, my Lime Green Lady, surprisingly is outperforming the other two and so she will continue to live for another 3 weeks or so... Replacing my dead microscope today and will be able to track her trichs but she's stacking up nicely and getting pretty nicely fat.

I harvested half of one plant that had started to foxtail... all the others are behaving themselves but again I'll be harvesting these ladies one plant at a time since they, like my Glueberries, are in different stages of development. Maybe it's something I'm doing wrong? Doesn't matter... they're all pretty happy and will be giving me a good harvest!

I don't weigh wet harvest so that info is not here. Any trouble with this grow is entirely MY FAULT... I love the strain, love the smoke, and I love Seedsman!
