At first I wanted to grow 4 plants: only Jack 47. But with 4 seeds I had just 50% success. So I start with 2 other seeds: kosher cake auto and I get 100% success.
2 weeks stagnation. May be sort of plants asphyxiation. I used a timer on my ventilation system during the cold winter and it was not enough to recycle and change the air in the grow room. So now I use the ventilation system 20/24h and the plants look better. Jack 47#1 show a powerful flowering.
After growing the Black Jack auto by Sweet Seeds and obtain a interesting result; I had to try the Jack 47. Crossing 2 legendary old school strains is cool.
21 mars: germination 2 seeds on 4.
After 4 or 5 weeks I observed a distinct stagnation in the grow process after started blooming. The plants stopped literally any grow process, look lethargic. 2 causes and 2 solutions.
First: the ventilation system was programmed a few minutes each hours (cold winter’s program): so I activated the ventilation 24h/24.
Second: too much distance between light and plant: so i reduce this distance (15cm less)
Few days after: the 2 Jack restarted a vigorous flowering…
A few days after starting the 2 Jack 47 I decided to start 2 Kosher Cake by Fast Bud to have 4 plants. One of those KC born with a malformation: a natural split, loosing some days to really start growing. However this one will be harvest at time. 1 Kosher Cake restarted a vigorous flowering…I throw away the Zombie Kosher Cake to give more space to the others and may be it’s a sick plant.
The vegetation period was a sort of failed, problems of air circulation and led light height. So the surviving plant was condemned to be short. When you failed the first weeks on autoflowering strain: you can’t get away with that.
There was better conditions in the grow tent during the blooming period: the Kosher Cake get finally some beautiful acid green and yellow flowers, complex fragrance: a pleasant product to use.
