2/2 made it to the next round. Let them fill out and transplant. Ran this strain last year and the results were great. Very nice yield and quality. Pumped to have it return, mate’s routinely pick this from my jar stock on party nights.
Dosed with Grow Big and Recharge this week. Drinking moderately well. Watering every day. Fert 2x a week. These guys were tall ones last year. Expecting some trees when they finally get in the real soil.
One thing I have to comment on is some strains hit the true soil and explode. This is one genetic like that. Just grew into absolute units last year. Hits harder than a hammer but doesn’t leave you narcotic high like a heavy medical. Solid buzz.
The weather has turned, time to put these babies into the ground!
Great roots to give them a strong shot. Should be a solid week of weather. This strain was a monster last year. Hoping for more of the same. Bonne chanće!!!
Tall as hell. FIM for more branch growth. Certainly going to be tall if I don’t continue to push for different growth. My last 3 were giants. All 5 seeds from this pack have become great plants so far. I can speak enough about how satisfied I’ve been with this strain in growth, yield and smoke.
Pinched both of these at the highest node to encourage some branches. Will wait another 2 weeks and top both of them.
Heavy rain and low temps. These are looking good so far.
I had to top Luke and get some branches going. Otherwise he would be 7 foot and thin. Leia is constantly pulling good growth as well. Colder weather has not bothered them at all.
Going really well and starting to branch out heavy. Again these are monsters who provide great yields and quality product.
Growing very hearty. I wish both would have been turned sideways. Leia is just so far ahead of Luke in side and branches. Going to try and see what I can do to fix that.
Leia- becoming a stunner, solid growth all around. Doing very well, eating and drinking heavy.
Luke- started to pin him down and push for better growth. Regret not going for HST on this guy.
Bugs have gotten worse as the heat gets turned up. Ticks, Beatles of all sorts and corn worms. Cleared a pile of eggs away and feel lucky I caught it. Stay frosty.
Had a corn worm blow through Leia. Used some healing tape to cover the wounds and see if that leg of her survives. Otherwise she has become an absolute beauty.
I turned Luke sideways and he has begun to branch out in a fantastic way.
I need to reach my point where my training of them ends and I just allow for vertical growth.
In most local locations sun will actually start trending back pretty soon.
Weather has been perfect.
Pests are pests. Use a coat hanger for corn worms. Just run it up the stalk and clear any eggs.
Feedings on Tuesday/Saturday and they are on the heavy side.
Love is life!
Just working on keeping them opened up and growing the right way.
These babies are amazing and a great example of how training and good genetics can build monsters.
Great smell, no preflower yet and I’m worried the stretch is going to add too much hight to her as she’s gaining more hight then I want to see but I think it’s too late for another round of topping at this point. Mixed weather but here we go!!!
Game the fuck on!!
They have started flowering. Feels like it happened so fast. Both are doing really well and I am encouraged at all signs of growth. I have peeled off every nitrogen fert and started with all the heavy Bloom items and armor si to build up some stem strength.
The weather has been tropical to say the least. Unfortunately this leads to PMD which is why I have started to use Trifecta. I included it as a watering item to help reduce stress and still promote some resistance.
It is recommended to do a couple leaf test run which is what I am gearing up for. I just wanted to soil introduce first.
Structure wise these things are going to yield. Did some culling of the lower branch items.
Very excited about these two.
Size matters and Luke and Leia have it. Leia is the biggest of my run this year and she is coming along nicely.
Defoliating- I will be going back through both of these and lollipop them. Larf breeds rot and I want these two to finish well. That will def require some heavy pruning.
Weather has been tropical and wet. 75-100% humidity. PMD has been at an all time high. Using neem oil to treat affected areas.
Just going to keep up with the feeding and sugars and hope for a late September finish with strong yields.
Peace. Love and Sun!
Currently about 4 weeks in. Looking to be done somewhere between the 26th and the 7th. Yields are looking decent but still a long way to go.
Weather- what a fucking nightmare. High winds, strong storms, heavy rains. Thankfully wind damage has been reduced to a few branches. Thank you armor si!
Humidity has been in the 100% range at night and 90% or more during the day.
Using Trifecta and Neem Oil to fight the PMD along with cutting away heavily infected areas. Dunking at the end of the season for outdoor now just became reality. See what I can do to fight the menace.
Defoliating- opened them up pretty heavy and they were fine with it. Been feeding them heavy PK plus sugars. The finish line is closing in probably do two more feedings and cut it off.
These are about 48 days into flowering. Looking pretty beautiful. I have had to snip a few off from bud rot. I have started my flush and plan to pull it down at about 55 days. Tricomes are mostly bright white with amber coming in further out on the leaves.
Weather- has still been absolutely shit. High amounts of rain and high humidity. The last two days have seen a return to normal temps and conditions. I think we are almost at 4.5 inches of rainfall for September it’s been brutal. I have flushed Leia as I think she is just about done. Luke has time left.
Defoliating- venting these ladies and taking any unnecessary foliage I can to help them dry out faster and breath.
Just keeping my fingers crossed that this train can roll into the station without to much more negative loss.
We are almost there friends!
There is only one of these left in the wild. I had to chop the other due to bud rot risk. I was worried about it becoming systemic. Some branches were in rough shape. This one actually caught me off guard a little as the infection spread pretty fast.
This one has been in flush since the 19th. Probably continue to push as long as I can.
Budrot is a constant battle. Opening buds up removing worms and their nests or pulling white fluff. If I pull fluff I have been using alcohol wipes on the infected area. These are simple lense cleaning wipes for safety glasses.
This has killed the starting colonies and prevented further growth and spread so far.
Weather- I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned the weather has been absolutely shit but it’s been an absolute bell head. Cold temps have finally come with the rain. I am shaking the plants accordingly and trying to do what I can. I don’t foresee anything that’s left going past the next full moon. So Luke is the plant left out still. While shaking him I split the knot of my first top. Tape and garden wire will fix the issue for what time is left. Just be careful folks.
Tricomes- starting to turn amber farthest out on the leaf. Still milky white inside.
The train keeps rolling! Hold fast my growmies I’m praying to the mother for us all. 🙏
