There is only one of these left in the wild. I had to chop the other due to bud rot risk. I was worried about it becoming systemic. Some branches were in rough shape. This one actually caught me off guard a little as the infection spread pretty fast.
This one has been in flush since the 19th. Probably continue to push as long as I can.
Budrot is a constant battle. Opening buds up removing worms and their nests or pulling white fluff. If I pull fluff I have been using alcohol wipes on the infected area. These are simple lense cleaning wipes for safety glasses.
This has killed the starting colonies and prevented further growth and spread so far.
Weather- I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned the weather has been absolutely shit but it’s been an absolute bell head. Cold temps have finally come with the rain. I am shaking the plants accordingly and trying to do what I can. I don’t foresee anything that’s left going past the next full moon. So Luke is the plant left out still. While shaking him I split the knot of my first top. Tape and garden wire will fix the issue for what time is left. Just be careful folks.
Tricomes- starting to turn amber farthest out on the leaf. Still milky white inside.
The train keeps rolling! Hold fast my growmies I’m praying to the mother for us all. 🙏
The only thing I can think of is to remove real weeds from around your plants. Then maybe put some plastic on the ground around them. Try and keep the humidity off of them. Not sure what your security worries are. Your in a tough spot, have to work with the cards you been dealt. You did a nice job and I wish you the best of luck.
@Pjm70,
I have used sand in the past. However the heavy rains have kept it really green in the NH this year so it’s a pretty dead give away to thieves or the constabulary. One of these had to come down the other day. Too much bud rot moving in.
