I started this seed by soaking it in a solution of tap water and 1tsp/gal of Bigfoot root stimulator. She’s a little behind the girls I started one week earlier, but that’s because I removed the humidity dome early, due to space restrictions.
Chugging along. I’ll transplant in a day or two. Veg tent isn’t as big as I would like. But she’s a week behind the others, so she’ll get the tent to herself for a week or two.
I transplanted this week. She’s eager to get out of the gate now. I’ll be transplanting to her final home in a few days. A little slow at first, but I think she’ll make up for it now.
I transplanted to a 5 gallon Radicle Bag, with the bottom 1/3 full of super soil, made from Subcool’s recipe. The top 2/3 is Pro-Mix Hp. I made the supersoil myself. We will see if i did a decent job.
I defoliated Thursday. She’s just been getting ph’ed water. . Time to see what the stretch is going to be like. I flipped to 12/12 yesterday.
I’ll update the nutrients when I feel like calculating the amounts in 1/3 of a 5 gallon pot. So...
I flipped to flower last Saturday. The stretch is on. She’s as wide as she is tall, and I’m excited to see what she’ll smell like when flowering is in full effect. The branches are a little weak, I presume from stretching so much so quickly, so I’ve put her closest to the fan. Just getting ph’ed water with Subcool’s super soil recipe in the bottom 1/3 of the pot. So far, so good.
Holy mackerel, this girl is stretchy! Two weeks of flower and the side branches are nearly as tall as the main cola. I never topped this plant, as it vegged a week less than the others. I’m excited to see what the buds are going to smell like. I’ve just been watering, as the bottom 1/3 of the pot is supersoil. I’ll be defoliating soon.
I defoliated mid-week. But I was partaking of my own product, and promptly forgot to take a before picture. So you get the after. Height isn’t correct, but I’ll measure and edit when the lights come back on.
4 weeks of flower in the books. Getting some lower leaf fading. We’ll see how long the super soil lasts. Some say a 7 gallon pot is necessary for super soil. We’ll run something else in it soon, and see if an extra month or two cooking helped. She smells like citrus and fruit.
Changing colors for Fall. Kind of makes my inner white girl wish someone would breed a pumpkin spice strain.
Trichomes are mostly milky now.
I’m thinking she will be done at day 49.
She’s in her final week. Maybe 2, depending on how quickly those trichomes start going amber. She smells great. Nice and fruity. I’ve given a bit of Fox Farms trio, because my supersoil was not ready when I used it, and ran out of nutes a couple weeks ago. Consequently some of the leaves got a little crispy.
For all intents and purposes, she’s done. Trichomes are completely cloudy. I’m going to let them go 20% amber, or so. I want a pre bedtime mindwipe. I quick dried a lower bud in the oven. 200 degrees for 15 minutes. Smooth and citrusy, and the high is incredible. It’s really easy to completely forget my body is there. And I had been in pain all day. I can’t wait to see what it’s like after a proper dry and cure.
I keep pushing off the harvest. I don’t know exactly what I was smoking when I estimated a 50 day finish. Probably RQS Auto Diesel. Tends to make me really dumb. It’s really close, but this plant didn’t grow as advertised, so a longer flower doesn’t surprise me. Or hurt my feelings.
Not my favorite strain for anything but sleep. In that she excels! I’ll be growing this strain again. Good pain killing in large doses. My friend is going to grow one outside next year.
