First time growing in coco coir.
So this time I am growing:
2x B.O.G. Lifesaver
2x La Plata Labs Flubber
1x Gorilla Glue Bagseed
1x Unknown Bagseed
The Gorilla Glue bagseed really took off from the start.
One of the Flubbers got a slow start because the seed husk stayed on way too long. It is showing pretty severe nute burn even though none of the other plants are.
Wow......what a difference a week makes! The Gorilla Glue bag seed is at least twice as tall as any of the other plants. I topped it after today's picture was taken. The stunted Flubber has come back well and is almost normal size. Bought an Inkbird IHC-200 humidity controller and hooked the dehumidifier to it. I'm pretty pleased with it overall.
The tent is getting crowded. The main stems of some of these plants are really thick. The Gorilla Glue bag seed is way taller than everything else. I'm assuming it's a sativa. Did some defoliation and LST. Topped one of the lifesavers that was getting tall. They all seem to be happy with 1/2 the recommended nutes.
It was a tough decision, but I culled the two Flubber plants. I just didn't have room for all the plants and those two were the smallest and least mature. Defoliated the rest big time.
Not much new this week. Defoliated another time to help with airflow through the canopy. Still haven't got the drip watering system dialed in, Some plants are too wet while others are too dry.
The buds are putting on weight and some of the branches are starting to fall over. Drip system is mostly dialed in. Starting to get smelly and sticky. :-)
1 gallon pots are too small for plants this size. Will go with 3 gallon size the next grow. Started to get some deficiencies showing up and checked the pH. It was way off. So much for "pH Perfect" nutes.
Having more and more trouble with branches wanting to fall over because of the weight of the buds. A good problem to have, I guess. Switched to 11/13 light schedule to help encourage them to finish faster.
Two bag seeds from different strains. The Gorilla Glue bag seed was a monster. A bit disappointed with the yield but probably my fault due to nutrient mistakes, small pots and crowded tent.
