( 15 cm - 19 cm ) Not sure yet if i m gonna give them 3 or 4 weeks of vegetation. I'm tempted to give them 4 but always afraid of their stretch after the flowering flip.

( 30 cm - 39 cm ) Rather homogeneous so far. Some phenotypes had their preflowers showing 24h after 12/12 flip. 3.5 days after 12/12 flip all phenotypes are showing their preflowers.

( 57 cm - 68 cm ) Watering 1L with nutrients every 5 days. Removed some lower stages that wouldn't make it to canopy level. I will prolly remove a few more in the next few days/weeks.

( 81 cm - 101 cm ) Pheno: 1-2-3-4 8-7-6-5 Will start 2 weeks flushing next week even if some phenotypes still have lot of white pisitils (especially pheno 1 and 8). Some phenotypes could probably be pushed 11 or 12 weeks flowering i think but i will harvest harvest with 10 weeks flowering as it will be good enough and i m soon running out of weed. Half phenotypes noticeably fox tail. Not that i'm really worried about it, but three leaves affected by some dry and whitish/yellowish/brownish dots near the top out of two plants out of eight total. My guess is this two phenotypes start to suffer from calcium deficiency. Update from week 12: signs are Manganese excess triggered by heat stress seen from top of the leaves and calcium deficiency seen from bottom of the leaves.

( 81 cm - 101 cm ) Pheno: 1-2-3-4 8-7-6-5 One and a half week to go, first amber trichromes in sight (pheno 6 close up) 5 to 6 phenotypes noticeably foxtail. Now, at the end of week 12 (veg 3, flo 9), 3 to 4 phenotypes out of 8 ( 2 phenotypes started showing thoose signs week 11) show deficiency sign wich i think is calcium (seen from bottom of the leaves) and Manganese toxicity (seen from top of the leaves for 2 phenotypes previous week and this week 3 to 4 phenotypes) most prolly because of heat stress. Excess and deficiencies sign can be seen for leaves directly under the bulb around tent's center, while leaves far from the bulb along the tent border's are not affected. ( 20 cm under the bulb: 40.2°C, on the side of the tent at the same height: 36.5°C, room temperature: 30.1°C) In conclusion heat right under the bulb in the middle of the tent trigger various excess and deficiencies. After some research around the net: Calcium protects your plants from heat stress. Calcium promotes respiration of plant tissue, and stimulates enzymes that protect your cannabis plants from abrupt temperature changes. (source: https://www.zamnesia.com/grow-weed/316-calcium ) Another article about calcium and heat stress and how plant's cells react (wich, i'm sorry, is a tad bit technical): https://www.researchgate.net/figure/The-functioning-of-calcium-signaling-system-in-plant-cells-under-heat-stress-a-Content_fig1_263172997 not sure but this may suggest the add of calcium won't solve the issue as the cells will still functionning differently due to heat stress even if i'm giving them more calcium. I still doubt because the signs of excess and deficiency do not appear until the 11th week, not before, and the temperature was about the same in the previous weeks, which may suggest, on the contrary, that the addition of calcium could possibly help the last three weeks of flowering. Heat and sunlight favour Manganese overaccumulation and stress in crops. (source: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0098847216301666 ) Another benefit of a CO₂-rich grow op is that cannabis plants can tolerate slightly hotter temps. Instead of religious dedication to ensuring temps never exceed 28°C with the right CO₂ ppm marijuana can still thrive in the 28-33°C temperature range. In fact, weed prefers slightly higher temps in a CO₂ rich environment. (source: https://www.zamnesia.com/uk/grow-weed/398-effects-of-co2-on-cannabis-plants ) Currently studying how i can improve thing: 1- adding a cool tube or a more expensive ventilated reflector 2- introduce some CalMag along flowering as i don't use some yet 3- more CO₂ ( CO₂ tabs, absorption by the roots with watering) 4- bigger extractor (switching from 225m³/h to 360m³/h) 5- Switching to LED, viparspectra pro series P2000 (or may be P2500) Currently more inclined to opt for solutions 1 and/or 2 and/or 3 and/or 4, solution 5 remain a tad bit expensive to my taste plus i won't be able to get the LED 51cm away from plant in flowering like viparspectra recommend but more like 25cm 30cm with the strech i usually experience in flowering, wich should decrease light dispersion on the greatest width of the tent for 4 plants tops out of 8 and may be not enough away from LED for heat. Update: Finally opted for 1 and 3 at first will see for 2 and 4 later.

Can you please have a look at the comments section i made for week 12, and share your thought about it First signs started to show begining of week 11 HPS 250W, 90x60x180 (3'x2'x6'), extractor 220m³/h, 20W oscilating fan between bulb and plant tops Thanks in advance

I finally opted for: - Reflector XTRA-COOL V2 125MM glass ventilated type cooltube - PLATINIUM Nutrients - Box of 60 CO2 TABS tablets as first solutions to deal with heatstress, but cool tube was a real waste of money only improved heat issue from 1° to 2°C wich is not enough so few week later finally invested in some SpiderFarmer SF2000 200W to replace the HPS wich solved my issue with heat. Temperature with led tent closed is lower than temperature with hps tent open and the temperature rise drastically with hps tent closed.

( 81 cm - 101 cm ) Pheno: 1-2-3-4 8-7-6-5 5 to 6 phenotypes noticeably foxtail. 5 phenotypes suffered of heat stress the last three flowering weeks resulting for them in manganese excess and calcium deficiency for the leaves right under the bulb. Pheno 6 had some rot in the main cola, 1 stem and a half is affected, i didn't lose that much. I didn't removed enough secondary branchs on a few phenotype, so got a very few larfy buds in the end from bottom of the canopy. Other way, buds have rather big calyx and are super compact. (but pheno 1 wich foxtailed more than the others and is more on the sativa side) Noticeably good yield in comparison with some other strain, overall very happy with how this grow has gone.

Finally i bought a Spiderfarmer SF2000 200 W to replace my HPS 250 W. Installed it week 5 of my Satin black domina CBD diary cool tube was a real waste of money to help with heat significantly
