Popped the seed in soil that had been watered with superthrive and voodoo juice. 3 days later its alive and well humidifier is inside keeping the environment good for her.
Growth in this one I can see is going to explode soon, started with b52 with the voodoo juice also, rh kept at 80 for the week one or 2 days temp was a tad high but averages around 25°c. No smell as such yet but I'm only day 11 that I'm counting as I don't believe we can count days until the seeds sprouted and got its first leaves. I've got a net for this run. Awaiting a new inline fan to get rid of the big fan taking room up.
3rd week in around 21days, I don't know how to update the week daily, I'm unable to upload pictures once I've started the week.
Now is the week where the 3 I started off have kicked into gear now.
Strawberry banana, it's responded very well to being tied down and defoiled. For anyone who's not got the confidence to try it please do, it's rather simple I don't have a set plan I just tie down when I think I should. You don't want the plant too tall or the stem will snap so it's better to get any training done as the plant has a few pairs of leaves.
Leaf structure and the overall appearance of the plant looks appealing so far, I've started giving them bud ignitor also today day 21. I don't know if that's too early so can someone advise me on that one plz
Starting with a nice strawberry smell coming through, responded well to being tied down if I had a had more confidence I would of tried topping this one as it's seems to just take everything that's done to her. Where the bruce banner has been a little sensitive this one is saying give me more, kept the humidity levels around RH 50℅ light is now being blasted at 100℅ also. Temps have been stable at 24-26 and this one has now started to stretch, I don't want to allow any of the room to go above the rest. I'm not a full believer yet in the led vs hps. This is my first led grow. So I'm hopeful so far. Going up on the drugs I've noticed some light burn so I've raised the light a few inches it was stood up indicted the light was pissing her off since I raised it there's been no issues. Onto flower we go.
Strawberry banana. Entered week 5 now, its started to fully stretch out now. It has responded fantastic to being tied down as the pictures show compared to last week. I've upped the bloom think there's a little nute burn starting but I also think it may be some light burn, either way it's not a serious case of either so I lifted the light by a couple of inches, to see if it doesn't affect it. Normally I alternate feeds with nutes vs a feed with just voodoo juice to save any excess nutrient buildup. Nutes are expensive I like making sure they are using what I'm giving em so an ec meter imo is essential.
Kept RH around 60 % temps been greatly stable between 24-26°c during lights on. Lights off around 18°c.
I've upped the feed this week despite a little light burn, switched up to big bud and will stop the bug ignitor after this mix has been used.
Been tying this one down rather vigorously this time and I think I've been rewarded so far with it, with the amount of bud sites popping up. Slight defoil also with this one now and then to uncover all the bud sites underneath and they have started to shoot up.
It has a lovely smell coming also, nice fresh strawberry smell. I love this strain so far wish I had more than one but hey ho depending on how it smokes may be one for the future
This week has been steady with this one, I've kept readjusting the ties and opening the canopy up more as soon as I'm able too. Done alot of pruning on the bottom of the whole crop this week. Dropped the bud ignitor and upped the big bud, also started on bud factor x see what that does.
Temps 24-26
Rh65-70. Been getting a little higher recently something I may need to combat if it doesn't come down over the weeks. Switched from hid to led usually those big bulbs just vaporize any water in the air and bring the RH down. The led doesn't do that as much. Thing I may need to readjust my extraction system make it more efficient.
Getting ready for this one to explode.

This one is gonna be covered in crystals as it is already like that now, strawberry smell is delicious. I've started overdrive today day 48. Shame I've only got the one of these actually.
In the UK near the end of June and we get our yearly dose of sun, after last summers heatwave where I had temps of 38°c I had a complete disaster last 2 weeks of flowering and temps like that kick in.
This time with the led vs hps, my temps have remained around 27-28 this week still a little bit of a jump from 24-26 I've kept stable the whole grow so far no signs of foxtails or anything as such. 4 pineapple express where ruined by a heatwave last year so for anyone on the fence who's using a smaller setup get a led.
The smell coming from this one is almost candy like with a very nice and subtle strawberry scent also after the initial smell of sweetness, can't wait to smoke this great looking plant. Such an ease to train also, took to everything I tried without issues and is completely covered in trichomes already even at this stage she's getting me excited, might even trim her bare handed lol.
Hopefully this sun pisses off over the next few days and she can finish up over the next few weeks.

Sorry lack of updates over the last few weeks.
Strawberry banana, chopped on day 72 with about 20% Amber trichs. She ripened up very fast, growing her she was great, responded to training very well and has rewarded me with 78g of dense nugs for my troubles. I'm really happy with that return as 78g of buds with another 10-15g that went into the honey pot. Counting the 78g as the final weight as that the buds in the jar.
Smoke it's nice and mellow at first then slowly over the next hour it hits you unexpectedly, a creeper as my dad would say. It is a very good smoke.
Smell wise we've got mixed reviews personally I get a very nice strawberry smell but a banana taste on the smoke, and my friend said the contrary and could smell banana and taste the strawberry. So aye great strain, one for the future to do again.
