I am trying a new strain sold by Crop King Seeds here in Canada. CBD Strawberry Kush Feminized. In one website I am told, if growing this strain outdoor, leave plenty of space because these plants can get some height on them. Strawberry Kush CBD could help you with: Anxiety, Inflammation, Insomnia, Pain and Stress. Another seed bank site says: With a cannabidiol (CBD) content of 9% and a low THC content of between 0.5% and 0.6%, this pot isn’t remotely psychoactive. Created purely as a therapeutic strain, CBD Strawberry Kush is the perfect option for aching patients seeking a natural alternative to synthetic medications. A potent painkiller, this pot can help those with a variety of physical ailments, including muscle spasms and multiple sclerosis, thanks to her relaxing effects. She’s also of benefit to the mind, easing stress and anxiety alongside various mood disorders.

First true leaves have appeared. More About CBD Strawberry Kush Divine Flavors With A Healthy Mix CBD Strawberry Kush is a pure Indica strain crossed with an unspecific CBD strain that resulted in cannabis with all the medical benefits and a more subtle high. Made to serve as medical marijuana, this strain is rich in CBD that provides pain relief and a stimulated appetite for its consumers. A fragrant strain, this weed has a sweet and fruity taste with a sour undertone, which is a known attribute of Strawberry Kush. Apart from its medical effects, smoking this weed also gives you a calm high instead of the buzzing head that other non-CBD strains give. Even at higher doses, you would never experience any of the mind-bending effects of a strain that is high on THC. A favorable environment to grow CBD Strawberry Kush would outdoors where it is exposed to sunlight most of the time. It is also quite resistant to many diseases and pests. With only about 8 weeks to grow, it will only take a blink of an eye before you start harvesting this weed.

I moved the plant along to a larger pot today. Yes, it did have some roots that were in need of more room.

No nutrients yet. Topping and plant recovered nicely. I have had a fan creating a breeze on the plants for about 3 weeks to encourage the plants to have stronger stems.

This plant has begun to flower even though it had 20 hours of light. It must be an auto-flower but the package does not claim the seeds are of an auto-flower?? It is still to cold at night to put the plant outside. It is probably getting pot bound again. I should begin to add some nutrients this coming week.

I added some nutrients to 1/2 of the water provided this week. The plant had 3 days where I set it and other plants out on the deck to get direct sunlight, gradually increasing the number of hours in full sun. I have had plants that I started indoors suffer from sunburn if they have not been toughened up first before doing to daylight full time. Today the plant was transplanted outdoors.

The plant was put outdoors last week. It has rained 4 out of the last 7 days. The soil has had commercial compost, woodstove ash, and horse manure mixed thoroughly with normal soil over the past 3 years. Sprinkled a little garden granular fertilizer into the soil below the plants roots. Glad I did, as I have not been able to water with nutrients added due to all the rain. Plant looks good, with its buds getting more developed. Using extra strong tomato cages again to help support the plants again this year. Old windows leaning on the tomato cages will protect the little plant from wind for a few days.

The plant has been outside for 2 weeks. It will be supported with extra strong tomato cages. I tied 4 of the main branches over to the wire to allow more light to reach lower bud sites. Windows were used to protect from the prevailing winds. In spite of it raining 4 days this week I have been able to give the plant 3 liters of water with nutrients. On the sunny days it has been very warm, reaching 30 C. I noticed while reading that some commercial nutrients for the flowering stage include some form of sugar. I decided I would give it a try.

Hot week with 3 days of rain. The buds are getting bigger. What are those yellow spots on the leaves? Able to give 3 liters of water with nutrients between rain which included thunder storms in the evenings.

MOLD! Yesterday found some mold on the plant's buds. Picked out what I could see. Picked out a little more today. Rained several times this week and the nights were colder. TV Weather Man warned of frost in the north of New Brunswick, it is July, not supposed to be that cold at night. I did some watering to make sure the plants was getting some nutrients. All the rain must be washing some of the necessary nutrients out of reach of the plant.

Is there a product that one can buy in Canada that would prevent or control mold for an outdoor grower? It has been raining a lot so far this season. Has anyone had good experiences with said product? No pictures of the actual mold, as I have been picking it off.

in flower you have limited choices... h2o2 3% is fine but can also cut it to reduce impact on plant. i wouldn't go below 1-2% concentration. also, get a surfactant of some type -- yucca extact or castille soap etc. othwerwise the water won't spread well. this will eventually singe the pistils.. clarified neem is prolly okay. that doesn't have the dangerous component, 'azardirechtin' (spelling way off, but close enough to recognize) potassium bicarbonate or sodium bicarbonate will change pH and help control it too. copper soap bottle says it can be used up to X days before harvest of edibles, but these aren't edibles... all that stuff did was burn my plant. "cornell formula" is bsically the potassium bicarbonate, surfactant and whatver... it has no 'proof' behind it despite using a university's name.

Mold has not become worse. Tried to think of a way I could keep rain and the morning dew off of the plant. I presently have a clear garbage bag that I put over the plant's cage. Not reaching the ground as I want to allow air to circulate. Increased the nutrients a wee bit.

7 weeks into flowering and the mold has not spread to much. I did pick off another spoiled bud. I have tried to not get any water on plant. I have been covering the plant at night so that morning dew does not settle on plant. The humidity has been very high, 70% today. I had the plant covered when we received rain this past week. The weather is to be very hot and dry this coming week. I have soaked the ground with 8 gallons of water to flush any nutrients. Looking forward to getting the plant up to 8 weeks.

The plant was way to small. The cause of that is because I was afraid to give nutrients with the water in case I over fertilized. I had a problem with mold that caused me loose about 1/2 the buds. I have no interest in having mold in my edibles. I wish the plant had of been a resistant to mold type. As I have seeds left, intend on trying it indoors this winter.

The buds dried quickly even though the area is 60% humidity. I have the buds and the sugar leaves bottled up this morning. I plan on 'burping' the bottle each day until I am satisfied with the result. While wet weight of the buds was 60 grams, the dry weight was 16 grams. I have saved 7 grams of the sugar leaves.
